this is the opening riff to sober to death, as i heard it.
half of these chords probably aren’t right, but whatever.
First Verse (lovely…have to move)
G/G/Em/C or you can play the opening riff.
Second and Third verses (That final terror…bad lives)
G/Em/C/Bm
there’s a different riff here, it’s the same as above, but you play the G part once, and there’s a Bm somehow. i haven’t quite figured that part out yet.
Then the fast chords during "Take your hands off your neck and hold" and “when punching mattresses gets old”:
are Bm/C/Am/Em
then during the chorus it’s G/D/G/Em.
Fourth and fifth verses, then the “ahhh” part is just
G/G/Em/C
(i haven’t figured out the riffs really, this is more of an acoustic version of the song.)
Then for the whole “don’t worry" part
You just play the top three strings in this order
G B E B G while playing a C chord, so it’s
0 1 0 1 0 (if that matches up idk) we’ll call this x
you also play this with a D chord later so its
G B E B G
2 3 2 3 2 we’ll call this y
X G X D X G Y C
And that’s how that part goes.
I’m terrible at explaining this, hopefully it made sense???
