If you want to i need to know your reason about the EiTaku being KomaEgi in alternate universe
Yes I'd love to answer this! To preface, this post is going to include spoilers for both Danganronpa and The Hundred Line!
I'll start with the similarities between Makoto and Takumi:
They are both average, ordinary people according to their own words
They are both forced to adapt to new situations and act as the one person who everyone else relies on to solve their situations (solve the mystery, go exploring, or bring them out of despair)
They both have savior complexes and want to help others at the cost of their own safety and comfort
Also they're both pushovers who have the backbone of a very thin, very flimsy twig (at least at the beginning of their character arcs)
Now for the similarities between Nagito and Eito, although it's pretty obvious:
Both are medically ill in some way, Nagito having frontotemporal dementia and lymphoma and Eito having his cognitive disorder
Both have very strong senses of what's "right" and "wrong"
Both want to take action against who they deem is "wrong" even if it's violent
Both have been traumatized in one way or another, Eito having been traumatized by the experience of seeing everyone as terrifying monsters
Both lack empathy and have been isolated for most of their lives, causing them to be socially awkward and unaware of some social cues
Both just want to be loved at the end of the day (although this is veering into headcanon)
Both of them are twist villains who, in reality are more morally grey than anything
And that's not even counting the physical similarities between Eito's design and Nagito's beta design
I say eitaku is a lot like komaegi because even though the latter doesn't interact in canon, I can see them having a very similar dynamic to eitaku. For example, Eito both hates and idolizes Takumi as this hero who always foils his plans but also has unwavering kindness toward the most unfixable of people (depending on his choices). And Takumi has a hard time understanding Eito for his hatred and disgust with humanity, but wants to fix/cure him because he believes Eito is broken (as seen in COA). If he didn't have his cognitive disorder, maybe he would be "normal" and maybe they could actually be friends.
Nagito's few mentions and interactions with Makoto in canon shows that he reveres him for his hope and if they did interact more, he would probably think of Makoto in much the same way that Eito thinks of Takumi. Basically, as this overly kind, naive, optimist who is so inherently different to himself that they can't possibly have a meaningful relationship. Makoto would see Nagito's self-deprecating behavior and worship towards hope as something bad, and want to help him and make him better. He would probably ignore his own discomfort at Nagito's treatment of him to make sure that Nagito is happy and healthy, making sure he is treating him as an equal, not as someone lesser.
If you want to go really deep into the brainrot, I believe that Nagito actually resents the concept of hope and despair and talent in general, which is implied in the Danganronpa 2.5 special where in his ideal world, talent doesn't exist. His talent has been the cause of all his trauma, so of course he would wish to not have it at all. Maybe he would even have a deep-seated jealousy of Makoto for having luck and still having his whole life work out for him (as far as Nagito is concerned), although he would refuse to acknowledge this jealousy exists. It's much like how, despite Eito hating Takumi's kindness, he also appreciates it, because it leads to Takumi allowing him to be accepted back into the group (in 2nd scenario).
I could probably go on more about this but it's getting long already so I'll stop here. So yeah here is my propaganda for how eitaku is just an alternate universe version of komaegi! thank you for the ask!!
