Favorite part about the cross over is we get to see what the gang were like in highschool at lunch. 100% they had the same spot they hung out every day and all the other kids avoided the area while they yelled and argued and agreed and talked themselves into insane plots and teachers had to come find them and drag them back to class when lunch was over.

can i go ahead and suggest that dennis being frustrated about mac 'macrodosing' the chillis that they had agreed to 'microdose' (or as dennis says: "10% all of the time instead of 100% some of the time") is a clear reference to after mac came out and started visibly coming on to dennis all the time? when they'd (silently) agreed to keep it 'lukewarm', no visible sign? when just the secrecy privacy intimacy illegality of it was enough to get them off. but of course that doesn't last. a reasonable proposition. i say let's up the dose.

and suddenly mac's following his identity's destiny ('macrodosing! it's cool! it's my name!') and - briefly - it feels like a betrayal...until dennis leans in and follows mac's lead. mac's taking charge, making decisions. Oh, dennis has always wanted to suck poison out of snake bite? of course mac knows that. of course he tries to make that happen for dennis. they're partners. dennis is his partner and he's announcing that to a room of strangers and all dennis can do is [moaning]. too hot but he can't stop going back for more.

yeah it feels like too much, of course it does, but the rush. he's never felt more alive. it's a lifestyle. it's their lifestyle. it's sexy. "that's cute". BABY. crash and burn but it was all worth it.
