âť… ~// Warm Side of the North
The only good that had come out of coming North with King Robert was that Cersei had come along as well. It was a slow moving procession, and dull at most times, but he and Cersei would soon have somewhere to be together more discreetly. Robert would most likely be entertained by the Lord Stark, and the children would be occupied with the Stark pups, if not much of the time in any case.
He glanced at those in attendance when he had rode with the rest of the knights and King Robert into the courtyard of the castle of Winterfell, pausing as he noted all but the Stark's bastard seemed to be lined up with the main family. Glacing around for curiosity's sake, the knight noted that Eddard's bastard was directly behind Robb, almost hiding behind his half-brother, while also trying to see the royal party for the first time. The sight made Jaime smirk just slightly, though he turned his gaze to Cersei as she came from the carriage.
Once introductions had been made, and Robert stalked off with Eddard, Jaime stayed close by his brother and sister's side for the first while, making sure they were sufficiently settled, and finding no real urge to explore the castle for himself. He managed to decide to change into more comfortable--and warmer--clothing rather than his armour, and left the door quite widely ajar as he began to unclasp his armour and underarmour, making sure the clothes he had to change into were not tainted from a month's ride on horseback.
