Firmament; The Lightkeeper of the Panopticon The mysterious patron of the Blue Cavern, who spends his eternal life to provide the nourishing light which feeds and guides the Tallophen

Serenade; The Spirit of the Underworld The revered songstress, who may heal any ailment with a single touch, from blindness, to even a broken heart. The Roadman; The masked menace of the Blue Cavern, a strange figure of unknown origins, responsible for managing the many smuggling rings and black markets around the Blue Cavern, trafficking all sorts of contraband, from narcotic mushrooms to weapons, and even strange artifacts from The Dark.

Yes, these are low quality, it's partly due them being introductory portraits for NPCs, and also because I am incredibly busy these days doing ✨Science✨. I hope to get back to full paintings and what not in the next few months.

Somehow, they appear to have little conflict with one another, although who knows what they really say to one another in their secretive language of gestures and hand signals.

They are almost completely deaf, as they ritually sacrifice their hearing ability in order silence all noise save for the deep songs and calls of the mother whale Malia from across the cosmos.

To speak with non-whalewatchers, they slice the flesh across their palm, and use magic to shape the incision into a mouth which conveys their thoughts. It doesn't take a shrink to see why they seclude themselves from us uninitiated.
