do i think conformitygate is gonna happen? no. there is, however, a small part of me that does; the little girl me that i know is still in there, she does. she wants it to happen and believes it will, because she still has that magic of childhood with glitter and unicorns and santa and that anything can happen.

as cool and as revolutionary it would be for conformity gate to be a real thing, i know its very unlikely bc the duffers are shit writers (leigh janiak i miss you every day)

but at the same time my favorite show of TEN years just concluded itself in the possibly worst way possible so im gonna choose to believe as my own coping mechanism bc the evidence is just too good

and the fact that this got so big celebrities and big company social medias are talking about it? (suspiciously jimmy fallon staying super quiet about it during interviews) give yourselves a hand byler nation our big brains started this!!

insanely disrespectful how sloppy and bored you got with your own story you've been writing and creating for 9 years that you didn't even bother to keep up with which just caused so many plot holes to appear and when asked about it you just shrug, laugh it off and say you either don't know or that it's up for interpretation

and shame on you for handling you characters so poorly to the point of taking the characterization of some of them away completely

and how lazy can you be that people on the internet managed to come up with a more beautiful and meaningful ending to this story in only a week after analyzing the details in your show after you stated multiple times to keep an eye out for details for them to not even matter in the end

i really didn't intend for this to be so long but
