I finished 50 days of running. And I compiled those 50 days' announcements into this video. These announcements added a fun element to the running - going through travel archives, share a thought/quote/story/trivia in addition to reporting the Day and Distance count. I was also testing this theory of "Publicly announcing your goals creates accountability". And I learned many things along the way. Running everyday was a big deal for me. Because I did not like running in first place, so much so that my gym trainer used running as a punishment for me. This 100-Day running project was a result of lethargy I had developed in the 3 months of lockdown-April, May and June. On a normal non-lockdown day I'd manage to get in a combination of a workout, yoga, running, 10k NEAT steps, along with a varied nutrition of fruits, veggies, nuts, fish/chicken. But in the lockdown months I slowly stopped moving as much and started introducing otherwise-banned products in everyday eating: sugar and refined flour. I was at the edge of a slippery slope with nobody holding me back. That's when committing to running seemed like a doable thing and removing the negativity out of the equation. I thought I'd start easy with 2km to 5km, building up to 10km. It seemed like a nice goal. So I started. #100DayProject #runningchallenge (at Planet Earth) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEOQdFhFGDX/?igshid=1a05xq8xhehsy
