No, congrats on your second part of your tour! And your album! And everything you’re doing Miss Bailey. I’m so proud of you and Halle. I feel like a mama I’m so proud. You’re telling me. She was so cute on set for one of my music videos. She’s so curious about everything, even if it looks like she’s mean mugging everyone.

Not surprised. Just really grateful and trying to take it all in. Hazel is two and she looks like her father more than me but her mood seems to be more in my range. I’m just so proud to be her mommy. God, I could go on all day. And I know you get it when it comes to your kids.

It really is. I’ve put so much work into others and my own stuff while I was independent. So to now have a project that I am backed by a label and they are into my vision and it’s doing really well. I’m really proud of myself. Hazel has really been talking lately and I love it. And it makes me happy she’s willing to tell me when she’s tired rather than getting fussy. It just makes me proud cause I’m like wow, I am raising the best kid ever.

Okay, pause because let me just say how much of a fan I am of you. Your charity work is really inspiring along with your acting so for you to be complimenting me on my album is amazing. Thank you. Hazel is about two and a half and at this point, she is running me in the best. She looked at me like come on ma’am after she said bedtime.

It is officially Gilmore Girls season and I truly couldn't be happier about it. How am I ringing in my 36th birthday? With some cake, wine and Gilmore Girls in bed as my girls are asleep. What's a show or movie that screams fall to you? I should probably branch out at some point but this show never gets old to me. @hillsfmsstarter

Cake and wine sound so good. And honestly, spending your time with family is always a good thing. My own little girl is tucked in beside me as she’s been running around with my mama today. And a comfort show is always gonna relax me more than anything.

lately, i've had loads of time to spare, so i thought, why not go for a complete "lost" series marathon? now, don't get me twisted, i still quite like it, but i can't help but wonder what the fuss was all about back in the day. around season three, my interest started fizzling out, and by the time i hit the fifth season for the second time, i couldn't be arsed to wrap my head around it anymore. i guess as you grow older, you want things to add up a bit better, which definitely wasn't my concern back then. you got any shows you used to be dead keen on, but re-watching them as a proper adult makes you question your younger self's choices? / @hillsfmsstarter

I have not watched Lost but I have had the ending spoiled for me. Definitely crazy so I can imagine those who watched when it came out are still reeling from it. Now, I need stuff that’s gonna shock and entertain me. Funny enough, I got into Cruel Summer. That’s a good one. And the new Gossip Girl as well.

Definitely the After Party or Abbott Elementary. Or the Recruit. Anything that can make me laugh is usually what I will be watching. Honestly, a good Insecure rewatch is fun.

Trust me, nothing beats Hazel and watching her learn words. But it’s been such a whirlwind weekend. Very emotional time but I am so grateful to be able to do what I love and spend time with my daughter while all of this is happening.
