I'm a defender of dork Simon, I need more of him.

If Simon is not suffering in one of my posts physycally, emotionally or mentally, he is probably just suffering embarrasment, awkardness or complete ignorance. Sometimes he suffers all of this at once.

Grace is playdoh to me, sometimes he is a diva, sometimes he is silly, sometimes he is dead, it is what it is.

In my mind Grace is a barbie, he has differente abilities and skills that he can unblock depending the context I give in the post until now he was been able to; sing, use a gun, fight dirty and become a ghost.

Rocky in my eyes is the most competent character when it comes to understanding situations that involve Grace's feelings (an example: he having troubles confessing his feelings for Simon), but he can be one of three 1) socially incompetent 2) tired or 3) culturally confuse.

Adrian is perfect, in the ethereal and diva way that Adrian is.

I love writing things that had the pebbles involved.

I also love to write about the different AUs.

Also I'm actively (trying) writing this fanfics in AO3 (my username is the same because I like consistency/I have no creativity with names):

I like to think that once Grace knew about Simon love for trees and nature he asked the eridians to add a small forest to the dome as a welcome gift. However, when they grew closer, he wanted to give Simon something that he could grew himself, and Grace personally gave him biogenetic modificated seeds and little tree sprout that can grow in Erid.

I also like to think that in Eden giving seeds, leaves, or anything related to a tree and nature to someone is a well know, and quite fancy, way to ask someone to marry you, since trees are not only something super weird, but also has a lot of religious meaning for those who grew in Eden. If you give someone something related to a tree and they return the favour, at the eyes of Eden culture, you got married.

So when Grace gave Simon those seeds and little tree sprout, Simon broke in tears, for the emotion of having his own tree and been seen as spouse material, Grace's spouse. In a rush Simon took a leave of one of the trees of the forest and gave it to Grace, as a way to say that he accepts Grace purpose and hugs him with all he had.

In Eden kisses and anything carnal is seen as a waste of energy, resources and time, and probably sinful, with all the cultish- religious guilty-sacrifice mentality, so a hug means a lot.

Simon, super emotional and very happy, drowning in his tears, hugging Grace as if he wants to squeeze the life out of it: I promise you that I will be worthy of this honour.

Grace, thinking "wow, he really loves the nature, good for him to have a pasion", trying his best to return the hug without losing his breath, nor squashing the tree sprout: I know, I know, you are already worthy, buddy.

Simon just cries harder.

And that is how from Simon perspective their are happily married, while Grace is thinking that having a human friend again is awesome.

We all know Mutated!Simon, but I want to introduce the idea of Mutated!Grace.

An idea I had was that after the eridians learned that human life expectancy is very short in compare to theirs and that their favorite human would be dead even before he would be old enough to be consider an adult by eridians measures, they start doing research (leaded by Adrian of course) about how to expand his life, finding that merging eridian DNA with Grace's is their best bet.

After Rocky really really begged and bring up how Grace's students would react badly to lose their teacher at such a young age, Grace accepts to be mutated and ends having some eridian characteristics:

He would age slower. He may not live as long as a eridian, but he at least triples the average human life expectancy.

He would have a third arm (I personally think it should come out of his low back, but it is open to interpretation.)

His skin would become more resistant, not as strong as a eridian' caparace, but stronger than any human skin.

He would still be able to see with his eyes, but he would also be able to use echolocation (that could be very useful, but it can also be very overwhelming).

He would speak eridian, been able to reproduce the same notes, hums and vibrations that an eridian does, but he sounds way off, not been able to intone correctly and in some points sounding eldritchish (for both humans and eridians).

He would be able to eat some of the eridian food (my poor guy deserves more options than himself for lunch.)

He still breaths oxygen and ammonia is still deadly to him, but thanks to his skin he can resist its exposure longer.

He still sleeps like a human, but he looks a little bit more dead when he does.

Rocky makes sure to teach him everything he can so Grace doesn't feel awkward with his new abilities, and assures him that he would always be the same leaky human for him and Adrian.

Extra + Simon:

I think that if Simon was introduced to Mutated!Grace it would make more sense for him to assume that he is dead and that Grace is an angel, because he would look and sound more like a biblical angel.

Honestly, I had have Mutated!Grace in my mind for a while and I wanted to write something in which the traumas of Grace could shine a little bit more. In addition, I also wanted that the ugly first meeting between Simon and Grace could have more consequences later on in their relationship, so I ended writing this

In my efforts to keep playing with light and shadows in digital coloring, I will want to present; Merlin and Arthur (Merthur)

One day after a field trip with his class into the biodome, Grace accidentally carries one of the smallest pebbles the pocket of his sweater and bring them with him to his house.

The pebble was mesmerized by Grace's house and even when they didn't got a picture of all of it before Grace notice them and carries them back to the classroom and put them safe in the other side of the xenonite wall the pebble presumes about the experience with all their classmates.

Now all the pebbles want to sneak in Grace house, thinking and planning of new ways to just take a peak of how a human house look like or what Mr.Grace does when he is not been a teacher. Rocky has help at least four pebbles to pass as decorative rocks in the garden and have tried to help them get inside the house through the windows, he is all in for the love of game. Grace has stop every attempt, but Rocky knows that the pebbles and him would won at last.

The idea of Grace been something as an olympic athletic for things like running and throwing things far, or jumping at the perspective of the Eridians is quite funny to me, because I think that Rocky would be the first one to watch him jogging or doing exercise and he would tell the other eridians, and they would not believe him until they watched him go, they think it was one of those situations in which people lie to be more interesting, so they were surprise that Grace could actually run and jog for long times.

I can picture Grace showing them videos of the olympics and they would think 1) humans are quite resistant creatures and 2) they would have a lot of questions about the sports humans do.

I think that we needed more of Aithusa been a child of divorced parents, like Merlin and Morgana could have divided the custody, they would have Aithusa every two weeks and throw a coin for the holidays.

Kilgharrah should also be a tired and bad influence uncle for Aithusa, been most of his advice 1) follow the prophecy, 2) kill the witch, and 3) kill in general.

Arthur role would be the one of a possible stepfather trying to win Aithusa approval by giving them the preys that he hunts and cookies, it works 7 of 10 times.

I was thinking that Grace would probably just celebrate any human holiday as many times as he wants, because eridians would not have any reason to doubt him. He coul even create new holidays whenever he wants, or just over sell some of the holidays

Picture with me Grace feeling like he needs some candy so he explains that Halloween is a crucial holiday back in earth because the candy and customs are offers to the souls that wander, and that without candy the souls get mad making the scientists have to create candy, or just wanting to do some customs for the pebbles in his classroom.

He would say that the day of Love and Frienship (That is what I grow up but San Valentine also works I suppose) is a crucial date for courtship and showing how much you care for your love ones, making the little pebbles doing the usual manualities of the holiday.

Maybe he just wants some gifts so christmas happens three times every year.

Rocky, who has been in contact with movies and information about humans holidays through investigating in the computer and Grace explaining them to him in their trip to Erid, doesn't say anything because Grace always give him gifts, candies and cards too.

In other of my request for more Merlin media, I think we need more hippie-druid-mystical like Merlin. I know that in some fanwork he ends been the Arthur's Court Sorcerer, and that he becomes some kind of lord or noble, but I want more of Merlin just getting lost in the forest after everything is at peace and use his magic freely growing flowers and doing butterflies or just passing time with animals and nature.

I think it would be interesting that Merlin just takes like a sabatic year, to learn more about himself beyond the prophecy and goes to live with druids, or the forest, or just to wander around from town to town. Merlin would relax-you know as relax as surviving your fate can make you feel- and he lets himself go, he goes around with longer unruled hair, barefoot, maybe waring loose open shirts and big cloaks, with a easy smile in the face and just having a nomad life following nothing but his whims.

He would spend his time helping those he can, doing connections with the druids and getting more involve in his role as Emrys, going to festivals and doing tricks to impress people with his magic and taught them of how magic can be more than a tool for evil.

When he gets back to Camelot, or Arthur finds him again, Merlin is more open and more happy, and he would use his magic more freely in front of him and Arthur can't be happier for him.

I think it would be funny if Grace explained to Rocky what a dog is, and how they are know for been the man's best friend, and now Rocky is jealous of them by default since he is Grace's best friend, how dare a dog to fight for that spot.

Extra + Simon:

When Simon firts appeared, all mutated and not all that human looking with his pointy teeth and lack of arm, Rocky, who has only know one human to compare Simon with, and seeing how much Grace wants to connect with Simon, believes that Simon is a dog, and is part of why he just hates him in the start.

Once Rocky understands he doesn't have to be jealous of Simon, he starts calling him "Good boy" in a effort to show his approval, Simon is very confuse

Extra + Adrian:

Adrian, who also learns a bit about usual company animals, argues with Rocky that Simon is obviously a cat.

I'm rewatching BBC Merlin and I need more content in which Arthur realizes how much of a danger and scary Merlin is.

Merlin in the show is always sneaking away, moving in the shadows and stopping attempts against Arthur life. Merlin has kill quite a number of people and I want Arthur to understand that Merlin can be scary for people that is not him, because Merlin would never want Arthur to be scare of him.

There are fanfics, fanarts and fancomics in which Arthur sees the power of Merlin and he sees all the beauty and tenderness that it can come with magic, and if he sees Merling using against his enemies is always a fast Merlin vs bandits ending in some wave of power that cleans the bandits away, but there are other ways in which Merlin can use his magic to be incredible dangerous.

I have been having the idea that maybe a enemy of Arthur, notices how Merlin is the reason why Arthur has been able to survive so long and against all odds, and knowing that attacking Arthur directly is a suicide mission, they use magic (I know that Merlin is inmune to most of it, or can see through, but for the sake of the idea, lets pretend this magic is very strong or tricky) so Merlin would be unable to recognize Arthur as his Arthur. It could be that he sees a complete stranger, or it could be like the Capgras delusion and Merlin thinks that Arthur has been exchanged by a copycat.

The may idea is that Arthur must have to experience what facing a protective and potentially angry Merlin asking "what did you do with Arthur?! " and "where is Arthur?!" who may and would use any means to find and safe Arthur feels like for the regular bad guy.

I think that after a while of living a calm life in Erid and watching Grace spend his time teaching to pebbles and how good of a teacher he is, Simon should ask if he can be part of the class.

I don't think that Simon got the opportunity to finish his education mostly because for the timeline that we know of Iron Lung he must have been imprisioned when he was around 17 years old, and adding the whole cult vibes Eden has going on I don't think the station was invested in the education of their kids beyond refining their qualities as soldier.

I also think that Simon is interested in understanding better how the universe works so he would be able to create his own conclusions and not depend in the word of someone else. In addition, I think he would want to learn about how human life was in Earth before the Quiet Rupture, after all he never step foot in Earth, but he is fascinated by it.

Grace of course accepts him in his class, he even finds him a table and a chair to sit, and a notebook and pen, and he treats him as any other sutdent. However, this leads to Rocky and Adrian, and even some members of the scientific eridian community wanting to be part of the class, since now that they know that Grace also teach adults certain barrier has been broken and Grace just seems unable to say no.

Extra:

The pebbles are the one who behave best, Rocky and other eridian scientists are usually asked to leave the classroom for bad behaviour; they are always picking fights with each other, arguing about theories and hypothesis until they get to out of hand, making Grace have to ask them to leave the classroom until they have reflected of why they were acting wrong.

Adrian, who sometimes is part of the fights mind you, also had the bad habit of making questions without filter, asking things that scare the pebbles or gross them out, or are just beyond their comprehension, or directly has nothing to do with the topic they are talkin so Grace have to do his best to answer and calm the pebbles or just ask Adrian to ask him after class.

Simon is the best behaved between them, and sits at the front with his desk perfectly organized each class and always wanting to answer all the questions. The pebbles (and Rocky) accuse him to be a teacher's pet, but he excuses himself that he can't control himself because Grace started giving away stars stickers (he has been working in the hacky bags but he need more time) and he just needs those stickers very bad.

I love how I got in this manga because I thought that the art was beautiful and I was like yeah I think I can get some magical girls anime, I have recover from my previous ones, and then they give me Euini, and I saw this little abused child and I was thinking I hope that Qifrey mother instincts kick in and adopts this kid, and then, when I had my guard down thinking in what a nice family they all could be, they make me relive my Fullmetal Alchemist trauma.

Like I know that Euini now has a very cool new mother...I mean master, and he is now some kind of shapeshifter, and he has more confidence in himself, but did they really have to open my wound first to do so?

I think is funny how my mind works because I was reading Witch Hat Atelier, I liked the whole Olrufrey (Olruggio x Qifrey) and their dynamic of unsoken trust and how they know each other better tha anyone else , but they still have Qifrey's secrets between them and made their relationship been doom by the narrative and had this murmur in my head about how this remind me of something, and I couldn't point what until it came to my out of nowhere; Merthur (Merlin x Arthur).

This guys remind me of Merthur, and I'm scare, because it doesn't matter how much AO3 has been trying to heal the mortal wound made by the end of the series, the true is that they were doom from the start and they found doom in their end. I didn't matter how much Merlin fought to change fate, he just made it happen, and Arthur die in his arms as it was always destine to do.

And now I look at Qifrey and Olruggio how have also been fighting against their doom fate, Qifrey looking for answers and a definitive solution, while Olruggio can't do more than sacrifice his memories as a imperfect solution that has done nothing more than provoke them pain. I want to have hope, I want to believe that this will end well, that they can win over the situation, but Merlin also thought he could do so and all he got was an eternity in solitude waiting beside a lake.

PSD: In a more happy note this help me to rewatch Merlin for who knows which time.

I need a AU in which Adrian and Rocky expanded Grace lifes span and when Simon arrives to Erid he does not time travel at all, meaning that Grace have been around for at least 300 years, but Simon doesn't know this.

Grace looks around Simon's age, a couple of years older than him, but nothing to big to make Simon curious about it, so he doesn't question Grace age until way later, when they have become more closer. Maybe he didn't even question it, and it was just bring by Grace in a casual conversation like.

Grace planning some classes about Earth for the pebbles and how time is different for them: I forgot to ask you, when is your birthday?

Simon who could be reading a manual about how to have your own garden or something: My birthday?

Grace, now curious in the conversation: Yeah, when did you born? When do you celebrate that you have got older?

Simon trying to do memory: In Eden everyone just added a year to their age at the start of each year.

Grace taking notes; Interesting, I was born in winter, that is why they named me Ryland and all that, but is true that I haven't been keeping track of the months lately, I should ask Rocky, he is good at numbers, we could choose a date for you if you want, maybe 1st of January, the start of the a year and all that.

Simon, trying to do mental maths: I would like that I should be...35 next year.

Grace, feeling nostalgic: I remember my 35th birthday, Rocky and I were still in space, he tried to make ballons with xenonite and ammonia, what a silly sweet guy.

Simon, realizing he doesn't know how old Grace is: How old are you going to be?

Grace returning to his notes: I'm going to be a 379-years-old man.

Simon who hasn't know anyone older than 56 just watching in horror.

I think in Eden people would have a lot of respect for old people because those guys where able to survive the longest, people after the Quiet Rupture just died very young, so if you got to old age was because you were a survivor, or a badass, but it also made the younger people not only respect their elders but fear that if they did a wrong move they would end killing them by accident since they would not know how to deal with old people.

Like for them it would be hard to connect the idea of a strong survivor with a nice granny that complains about her bones, so they never knew if feared them or treat them with tenderness.

And Simon, now realizing that he is been way too casual with what is must be the oldest person alive, is having a crisis. He would be very concern when Grace complaing about his knees, or his back, because he can't let this man die now if he can avoid it! He can't be the reason the oldest person ever dies! So he would tried to make Grace have a more healthy life, and always carrying a blanket in case that Grace feels cold because he remembers how the old people in Eden complained about always feeling cold, and would not know if calling Grace sir or not.

Grace has no idea why Simon have change his attitude around him, like one time he cracked his fingers and back, and Simon had run into the room in panic asking if he had broke anything and with a peppermint tea cup.

I think that Rocky and Adrian should made Grace as inmortal as they can humanly able to do, mostly because I think it would be funny for different reasons, like the fact that Grace would not know until one point was is normal or not, because he has become a cryptid.

Like he may have abilities that are just not humanly possible, like super strenght, or he has better night-eyesight, or just he is able to distinguish a new gamma of flavors, it doesn't matter. The may idea is that by some pint Grace doesn't qualify as human anymore, and when Rocky or Adrian asks things about his health Grace just shruggle.

Adrian, making a checklist; Have you been sleeping well, question?.

Grace, who is thinking about how he hasn't need to sleep for at least three days; You now what? I haven't sleeping at all.

Rocky, as the mother hen he is; Why can't you sleep, question? You should rest, statement.

Grace: I should be resting in peace for more than 200 years, but honestly I stop making questions since I got to hear another frequency and develop other four cone cells, sometimes you just have to roll with it.

I just had this scene in my mind in which Grace and Rocky bring the pebbles into the biodome as a field trip to show them the sea, and the forest and to explain to them how a ecosystems would usually work in earth.

A very small and curious pebble wanders off and ends getting to Grace house to then walk around it and find a garden of flowers and veggies that they want to explore. Then suddenly a human, that is not Mr.Grace, gets out of the house and not wanting to be caught the little pebble hides between the plants and decorative rocks of the garden.

The human waters the plants and takes care of the plants with care before returning to the house and opening the door. The pebble, who has not be discover yet, takes this opportunity and sneaks inside the house before the human closes the door behind him.

When Grace gets home he enters in a rush screaming about the field trip ending shortly and Rocky having to take the other students back to the classroom, because they have lost one of the pebbles and asking Simon if he could help him in finding them. He finds Simon standing over one of the chairs screaming in a high tone and swinging a frying pan at a small hyperactive pebble that is running around the chair non-stop while shrieking

At least he knows where Roach is.
