A last-minute arrival, something to be expected when having to spend most of the day traveling to properly accommodate each relative for the holiday season.  Armed with Gløgg and a wrapped parcel, Kjerstin hadn’t bothered to knock on the door before letting herself in.  "God jul, Hjalle!"

Kjerstin is a registered nurse. It's her job to make sure others are safe and healthy - that includes other nations. Sure, they don't catch human diseases or ailments, but it doesn't mean they aren't effected if enough of their people should catch sickness.

But that also being said, imagine how many times she's had to fix broken bones because they were being stupid?

[A parcel arrives at Kjerstin's house. Carefully packed for its long journey across the sea is a neatly wrapped Christmas present consisting of a pair of light grey wool socks with a red selburose design all over them. A single Prince Polo wafer bar falls out of one of the socks when Kjerstin picks them up. The card attached cheerily wishes "Gleðileg jól!" and below it Eiríkur has added his own, terse and laconic words: "með kveðju, E."]

The parcel was taken into her care with great curiosity. She had not been expecting anything for the holiday season, but she was not one to complain upon receiving surprises. Upon opening the package, a smile was slow to cross her lips, reaching down to raise the socks from within, and only then did she notice the wafer.

It was a sweet gesture. How nice of him, to still consider her when making gifts.
