hi everybody!!

i know i haven't been online much (logging on is still giving me anxiety because my ass has NOT been posting, but i know it's okay to take a step back from social media- i'll be okay! /gen)

just making a post about TMV, looking back at it right now i'm NOT happy with it </3 i don't want to drop or delete it, but... i do wonder if it'd be possible for me to start over on it. rewrite it WITHOUT obsessively proofreading it 8 times, without overthinking every detail to "tell a coherent story", because ruminating like that is lowkey a reason i don't like it anymore, and i wasn't having as much fun as i could have been.

i've mentioned before i burnt myself out from TMNT a tad (darn my tism), but it's still one of my biggest fandoms that really shaped my childhood; it's just going to be a bit until i can return to creating fan content for it and enjoy it, you know? so if i could find a better approach to this story, a bit less ambitious so it's more doable, then maybe... because i'll admit, writing action and fight scenes is not my thing x'( i'm a slice of life girlie (nonbinary)!! if i could skip over the action shit ✨ gracefully ✨ to get into the character dynamics more... sighs

i'm sorry i haven't been updating my fic at all! i know life gets in the way (and some fic writers update their shit after over a DECADE and that's still awesome af), but it just makes me sad this is the state of a project i was SO insane about a few months ago. :')

thank you everybody who still likes my content and is patient with me even when i'm not posting! this is by no means a "GOODBYE TMV IS OVER" post, it is just... due for a revamp. when i find a good format to tell this story in its entirety, without it becoming so ambitious that i can't continue it or progress. after all, i had like 5 seasons worth of story planned out, and i'm no nickelodeon, just a nerd with a hobby. :P

so sorry for my inactivity right now, i kind of burnt myself out,, :( i still love TMNT and TMV but i really need to focus on my irl stuff for the upcoming months, and as much as i've wanted to get back into my hyperfix it's just made me tired and anxious to log on each time because i haven't been active >_<

i also would love to continue my fic but i'm so embarrassed by it idk... i feel like my writing style has changed LMAOO... i'll see if i get less busy or if inspiration strikes and i continue writing because grrr i had a whole story planned out. but not right now at least, cus i seriously need to lock in!!!
