In the morning... Wooden benches are gnawed through (are those...teeth marks?) Cars and lampposts are scratched, looks like someone with claws was jumping on them. Fruit and nut trees are all empty, soon people notice giant piles of fruit and nuts on their balconies.

It was me. The weresquirrel. And I'm very proud of my work.

It's autumn now, and what does this mean for a squirrel?

Food caching time!

For years I've been storing snacks in drawers in my room. Potato chips, sweets, candy, chocolates, gummies, 200 ml juice cartons...

Now I got an idea! What if I turn it into a nice autumn quest - I'll calculate the quantity and buy my snacks in advance? With a good exp date of course.

I'll plan on when and what I'll be snacking, and they all will wait in the drawers for dark and cold November and will last till spring! And I won't buy snacks in winter then, I'll be buying everyday products only.

It's just this feeling - collecting food, for cold times, for rough times! even though it's always available in stores - that makes me feel so squirrelly!

The urge to get crazy zoomies, to quickly climb everything you see around - like your life depends on it - the thin branches, the tiny tree holes, all in five minutes, is so damn strong lately...
