Feel free to shoot me an ask any time :) I love to chit-chat!
For some lore:
I realized I was a therian about 15 years ago when I stumbled across a wiki article for therianthropy over a decade ago. It put a name to thoughts and feelings I had had for as long as I could remember.
I've explored various possible theriotypes over the years--including mule deer, lion, and wolverine--but nowadays, I best understand myself as a mountain gorilla (primarily) and a red-tailed hawk (secondarily). Understanding myself and my experiences is a never-ending journey!
In my "human life", I work in an environmental-related field. I'm also neurodivergent and a trans man. I do find my trans-ness and neurodiversity plays a part in my therianthropy, and you may see me ramble here and there about how those three things intersect in my own life.
To be clear, THIS is how nights of the future should be lit
This is bat friendly street lighting, which not only looks sick as fuck but allows bats to pass through without disturbance, as they cannot see red.
orange and especially white lights deter bats and prevent them from reaching feeding grounds at nighttime. Please if you can, write to your local council and encourage red street lights!!!!
you know the more i've interacted with therian online the less i actually care about. the actual label. draconic communities had it right its like. a fucking spectrum from guy who is very into their fursona to actively trying to find a way to species transition and i think making false walls between them reduces the richness of being speciesweird
