Now that Heated Rivalry has entered the chat (and I'd argue Schitt's Creek dipped a toe in first), we now have a new C-BL: Canadian BL. Since it might be tricky to tell the C-BLs apart, I've compiled a handy chart to help.

Jin Guangyao takes Lan Xichen hostage before the Second Siege of the Burial Mounds occurs, which means they're together full day at the very least before Wangxian catch up with them. However, Jin Guangyao's lore dump/explanation for his actions at the temple--and Lan Xichen's openness to hearing it--suggests that much of this is brand-new information for Lan Xichen.

So like... what did they TALK about during the several hours in which Lan Xichen was being disconsolately carted around to multiple cities with sealed cultivation by Jin Guangyao & Co.?

I have admittedly never been lovingly held hostage by my beloved friend whom I know for sure has murdered another friend, among other things, but I would be pretty curious about several things, such as "why did you kill my other friend?" and "why do you think you need to flee the country when as far as I know, nobody but me, my brother, and my brother's resurrected war criminal boyfriend even knows about that and we can't prove it?" and "why are we stopping at this temple in Yunmeng?" and "why are we excavating a grave in this temple in Yunmeng?"

Idk, I would have some questions! I would have even more questions when it appears that the guy I absolutely cannot fucking stand knows the answers to these things and I do not! Lots to ponder during my captivity!
