Many Simmers that play with the Veronaville Sims ship 'Tycutio' (Tybalt Capp and Mercutio Monty). For me, their attraction burned bright but also burned up fast, and their short-live romance was defined by passion, intensity and frustration.

Later on, Mercutio starting to notice he had feelings for the much calmer and more uplifting Puck Summerdream. Eventually, Puck revealed it was mutual, and 'Pucutio' was born.

Romeo Monty

I'm always excited when the developers bring back Sims from previous games, and Veronaville was always my favourite neighbourhood in The Sims 2. Seeing the Monty and Capp families back in the Royalty & Legacy expansion made me very happy.

One of my issues with returning characters is that they always look a little off, so I prefer to replace them with the recreations by the forever legendary @whattheskell.

Above is Romeo Monty as he's found in the new expansion (top left), Skell's recreation as a teen (top right), his Royalty & Legacy styling overlaid on Skell's recreation, now an adult (bottom left) and a little tweak in style by me (bottom right).

(Belated) Happy New Year!

Sul sul, lovely people.

I hope you're all doing well. I've been fairly quiet on all things The Sims lately. Life away from the computer has been going well, and I've been focussing on other hobbies such as reading and my fitness.

I really got back into The Sims in the first half of last year, but since then I've taken it at a slower pace. I still love the game and will be playing in the future, it's not just where my energy seems to be right now.

I know I'll pick it up again at some point, but for now I just wanted to pop in, update you and wish you all a lovely 2026!

Honestly one of the simplest changes I would make to The Sims 4 is having all the assets in CAS appear in the order of their pack, with the most recent packs at the top and the least recent/Base Game at the bottom.
