The Heckings

Brent has been working as an interiors housepainter most of his life – he really loves interior design, but his last design firm left him feeling stifled. He also has dreams of branching out on his own, but he’s a little intimidated.

His husband is very supportive; he’s always telling him he can do it.

Now that they’ve closed on this fixer-upper in Bridleton Bay, this is his big chance. He’s thinking about posting their journey online eventually, but he doesn’t wanna embarrass himself.

Brant has a steady stream of reliable clients – and he holds the pursestrings for their household. He assured his husband they’re in a good place; they made good money off the sale of the condo, and this is the perfect time for them to make this house a home.

Who knows what will happen? If his posts get some traction, maybe Brent could get some opportunities of his own. Maybe one day having his own small company.

Either way, they’re content. Life is good with them and their little fur daughter, Rosie.

Brindleton Bay Townies → 2/7

Here is Brent Heckings. I actually really like how I did him, I wanted to update his look with the new skin details we now have and give him a puppy like look.

They say money in Brindleton Bay is so plentiful these days it practically falls from the sky - and the Hecking household can attest to a sort of prosperity they never expected to experience. To the outside world Brant and Brent are business partners, two merchants who run a studio filled with talented young artists. They took in young Benjamin in 1307, as an apprentice but privately as their son. In 1309 they took in a second orphan, young Sophie Rodgers.

Brant Hecking, 34

Though he's very involved in the running of the art studio Brant is more involved in the selling and curating of new talent than actual painting. Truth be told he grew up poor and it was only his good looks that pulled him out of poverty - he got work as a model and it just kept coming until the day he met Brent. That day changed his life in the best way possible.

Brent Hecking, 33

Brent grew up among artists - his father was a celebrated painter, his mother his famous muse. The studio he runs now is actually the one founded by his father originally. From an early age he enjoyed expressing himself in a variety of ways, but eventually he honed his skill in painting to a degree that everyone took notice of. And with that he met the love of his life, his own muse Brant.

Benjamin Hecking, 9

Young Benjamin is a sweet-natured boy who is obsessed with dogs; it's actually how he met Brant and Brent. Their beautiful little Rosie escaped the house and was found cuddled up with a street urchin - Benjamin. After finding out he had no home or family they offered to adopt him. Now he can play with Rosie whenever he wants!

Sophie Rodgers, 6

Though she's only been with the family for a short time Sophie has proven to be a very intelligent little girl who is fascinated with learning everything. She also enjoys spending time with friends, but she's still too young to really have a true circle.

brent is one messy BITCHHH!!!!! he had the preference for disliking painting. brent, you are a painter. anyway. i decided to roll with it and he’s been getting into pottery lately while slowly coming to the realisation that he needs to find a new career and lifetime aspiration

neighbourhood stories had them DIVORCE (i forgot to disable it lol) but their messy drama intrigued me enough to play with them so i gave them makeovers 💓 also i dont know where their dog is, she wasn’t there when i loaded into the household….. 🕊️
