Hello! I’m W1R3Z, and I am opening Ninjago Art commissions! I primarily draw in a style the is similar to the minifigure/ Monkie Kid style, so that is what I will use for these commissions!

Rei is the Elemental Master of Rust. Pre-DR, she was a papergirl alongside her sister Antonia, and was close friends with both her and Nelson. She has an interest in technology, however that interest leans more towards that of older technology such as cars and steampunk machines than it does any of the sleeker, new-age, tech. Like Nelson and Arin, she was a super-fan of the ninja, and her favorite was Kirstie. Wu even compared her to Kirstie once.Rei discovered her elemental powers during Prime Empire, when Unagami was attacking Ninjago City. She didn’t immediately begin training yet, but still would often visit the Monastery to learn about her powers. While there, she would meet Lorea and Hyalus, and the three of them formed a close friendship, though it could be argued that Rei and Lorea had a closer bond with each other.
Lorea is the elemental master of Flora, and Aiden’s sister. Like him, she was born into the cult that made Aiden part-one, and when Aiden escaped, he took Lorea with her. However, upon joining the Dragon Hunters, Iron Baron would imprison Lorea, using her as leverage in case Aiden ever decided to disobey orders. When the Ninja are stuck in the First Realm, Zane finds Lorea, and he and the other Ninja help her escape. Later on after the Oni invasion, she decides to stay in Ninjago along with Aiden, going back and forth between staying at the monastery and staying with Antonia and Rei.
Hyalus is the Elemental Master of Glass. Troubled from birth, her parents, seeing her powers as dangerous, surrendered her to a lab for testing as a weapon. Her parents even participated in tests, which led to their eventual deaths. Thankfully, she was able to escape, as the place she was kept in was preoccupied by the sudden changes in time in S7. She ended up in the foster system, but never stayed with any one family for too long. She had great trouble with her powers, and her temperament was avoidant at best and hostile at worst. The first time the Ninja saw her was when the Oni attacked. She had ended up in the cloud where Kirstie, Cole, and Aiden found her and brought her to safety. She strangely hadn’t been affected by the cloud. Later on, the ninja found her again attempting to steal food in Jamanikai village, and after learning that she had elemental powers, decided to take her in. They were the first in Hyalus’s eyes to see her as anything other than a tool or a monster. She was closest to Kirstie, as she worked hard to help Hyalus control her powers.
After The Merge, Rei, Lorea, and Hyalus ended up staying together in The Crossroads. During this time, Rei, who had been questioning their gender long before now, transitioned to non-binary, and she and Lorea both developed crushes on each other. Lorea also discovered her powers, however it is unknown how she got them. They were found by Kirstie at least a year or so before Arin and Sora were found. They become Kirstie’s students, and are trained alongside Arin, Sora, and WyldFyre. Rei and Arin eventually ended up having a falling out over Arin going to Ras to find his parents, Rei noting that she too had family missing, but knows there are more important things to worry about. After Arin leaves, it pushes Kirstie to adopt Hyalus. All three eventually join Kirstie, Selena, Aiden, and Myra, in finding many people who were lost in the merge, and most importantly, Wu.

their name’s benzo, short for benzodiazepine and they were named after the medicine because their parents found a discarded container of those once and went “yeah that’s a nice name”
oh and they’re bentho’s biological sibling that’s why they look similar heart emoji
they have no lore or plot relevance at all they just exist in the background living where bentho’s from and has no idea what happened to bentho when they were kids. maybe benzo’s at fault for bentho getting lost?? idk… were out playing as kids and got separated and it ended up w benzo going home in tears over their brother now missing or something
anyhow i think it’s funny if they became a therapist or something in dragons rising purely bc of their name. or they were already a therapist or something similar but extended their practices onto dry land during dr bc they always found land-dwelling stuff really cool

I FINALLY FINISHED THE REDRAW!!!
So this is what i was talking about a few days ago, the redraw of my very first Sunny and Jay drawing which i will put here
It’s crazy to me how much i improved, like the more dynamic poses and the lines are better and sunny’s hair isn’t a mess T^T I even tried something a little different! the outlines are colored this time, and i think it gives them a softer look overall.
