Pandemonium turned 4 today!
Brotherhood in Death...
...Nora finished the first of two 2016 in Death book!
Time to wait 154 days until Devoted in Death comes out.
in Death Quote #3
After dealing with her crappy data unit (whose screen flashes an eye searing red, is hard of hearing, doesn’t recognise hyperbole or rhetorical questions, and has issues multi-tasking) Eve swings by Peabody’s cubicle and tells her aid that she’s heading out. And while she’s gone…
”…I want you to find a hammer.”
Peabody had taken out her memo book, nearly plugged in the order, when she stopped, frowned up at Eve. “Sir? A hammer?”
”That’s right. A really big, heavy hammer. Then you take it into my office and beat that fucking useless excuse for a data spitter on my desk to dust.”
”Ah.” Because she was a wise woman, Peabody cleared her throat rather than loosen the chuckle. “As an alternative to that action, Lieutenant, I could call maintenance.”
”Fine, you do that, and you tell them that at the very first opportunity, I’m coming down there and killing all of them. Mass murder. And after they’re all dead, I’m going to kick the bodies around, dance on top of them, and sing a happy song. No jury will convict me.”

Obsession in Death...
... comes out in exactly one week (Feb 10th). Excited yet?
in Death Quote #2
"No matter your race, creed, sexual orientation, or political affiliation, we protect and serve, because you could get dead."
-- Festive in Death, a banner hanging over the break-room door in Eve's bullpen.
Pandemonium turned 3 today yesterday!
in Death Quote #1
After Garnet "strikes" and swears at Eve, she in turn undermines Rene Oberman's command. She then storms back to her bullpen with "cold, controlled fury on her face"
Eve: Reineke!
His head snapped up, eyes wide at the tone.
Reineke: Sir!
Eve: What would happen if you said ‘fuck you’ to a superior officer in my presence?
Reineke: If I said it in my head or out loud?
Eve: Out loud.
Reineke: My ass would be extremely sore from the repeated and forceful application of your boot thereto.
Eve: Fucking A. Peabody, my office.

in Death Quote #0 [Background Info]
Roarke, her significant other, her husband, her mate, whatever you want to call him, is one of the richest, if not the, richest man in the known universe, owns a ridiculous amount of property, and happens to be a computer geek, Irish and among other things: a former criminal, though he has never been convicted.
Nowadays, he hangs out with more cops than he knows what to do with, although he somehow, always, manages to feed them all when they drop by their house — read: mansion — to work on a case.
For those of you who didn’t know the above information prior to reading this post, you do now and I urge you to read this series or listen to the unabridged recording of it by Susan Ericksen if that's your thing. There's 48 novels and short stories, so catch up.
For those of you who already know what this series is about, clicked the Read More button and read this long-winded, possibly very boring, post to the end, I salute you and thank you.
***A fair bit of warning: those who know me know that I update on average 4 times a year. That actually might be a generous estimate, but you get the picture. I update when I remember I actually have a tumblr account.
Happy web-surfing!

Original Quote:
Roarke: Darling, before we shift into the official mode, what do you have under that dress?
Eve: A device designed to drive men wild.
Roarke: It's working. I don't believe I've ever seen your butt move quite that way.
Eve: It's a cop's butt now, ace, so watch it.
Roarke: I am.
He smiled, gave it a nice solid smack.
Roarke: Believe me.

A variation of Autumn Star. This one was made for a Facebook cover photo.
Autumn Star
When I made this, I thought to myself, “This looks like a star.” After cycling through many of the colours, I came across a set that made it look like a bunch of leaves. And that is the lame story of how Autumn Star came to be.
P.S. I first uploaded this one on DeviantArt about a year ago or something close to it.
Cool! Pandemonium turned 2 today! I can't believe it's been two years of sporadic updates/posts.
Fetch, Boy! It was a happy accident that this turned out to look like a dog . . . kinda.
