Little Big City

It is a game that can be played on our mobile devices where it doesn't require an internet connection to access this game. This game just like the other games like, Clash of Clan, Social Empire and Dragon City but there are also differences. One of the differences of this game to the games the I mentioned earlier is you can't battle to the other player.

All you have to do is to manage your city as a mayor, collect all the resources on every houses, firms and also to the city hall. You can visit to the other village/ city and help them to collect those resources in limited energy. On every houses, firms can be upgraded and you also expand your land or territory. I think this game are suited for the Business Administration student because this requires a strategic plan on how to expand your land and to improve the houses and firms. I realized something in playing this game, I felt like I am a mayor in this game and it gives me an authority to manage those resources that I have just like how much money that I needed to spend just to build a new firms, houses or expand my territory. This game improves our decision making in terms of budgeting where it tested your capability to minimize and maximize your expense just to improve your city as a mayor. On my point of view, the reason why the creators of this game named " Little Big City" created is because this could be a training grounds for those who will become a mayor someday or practices us into a real world.

Stick Run

This game was boomed on the year 2010 where almost of my facebook friends are playing this game named " Stick Run". Yeah, this game can be played on our facebook account just like the other games like Dragon City, Social Empire, Tetris and etc. I tried this game before, the objective of this game is to pass all the obstacles and to reach or set a high records. I remember the time that I was addicted into this game on my highschool days, every time that I opened my facebook account Im rushed to typed the word " Stick Run"  in search and excited to play this game.

The character can be customize from head to toe whatever design would you put to your character. There is a game mode that you can compete with the other players and the last one standing are declare the winner on that particular match. As long you still alive in that game, the movement speed of the game was faster and faster until the player will die. This game a simple 2D game where all you have to do is pass all those obstacle and set a new record and this game are suited to all ages.

Bomb Squad

Last week, a game named “Bomb Squad” was introduced to me by my little brother because he wanted to show his newest game that he played and also to invite me to play. On my first impression in this game, I thought that it was so boring but on the midway of playing this game I realized that this game it give some excitement. By playing this game, it tested your ability to aim your opponent and also to outplay in every campaign. By the way, this game has 3 game play (Co-op, Team, Free all) and on every campaign it associated by sports game like football, baseball and etc. When I started playing this game, I don't know what to do but my little brother guided me on how to eliminate or defeat the enemy. He said that this game it involves the exact degrees to aim your opponent just like we playing the Angry birds where you should formulate or know the exact degrees to eliminate those green pigs.

I learned that on every campaign that we played in this game, it has different pattern on how to win and outplay those enemies in Co-operative. In Team Play, a player can team up to the other players and also can be battle and choose what sports like football, baseball and etc to be played. Free for all mode, it just like a royale rumble where all players are compete and those last player who are still alive is declared the winner. I forgot to mentioned that to connect the players to players are via hotspot. That's all and thank you. HAHAHAHAHA

Dragon City

Dragon City is a social network game from social games developer Social Point which was launched for play on Facebook in May 2012 and for download on iOS in 2013. In August 2014 the aforementioned developer made the game available for download on Intel Atom tablets for Android.

The game targets mid-core players, allowing them to raise their own dragons and create a Dragon City on floating islands.

Each of the Dragons comes with their own element consisting of Dark, Electric, Flame, Ice, Legend, Light, Metal, Nature, Pure, Sea, Terra, and War. In addition, there are some Hybrid Dragons and Rare Hybrid Dragons where they possess more than one element and can be created through breeding the two required dragon elements. - (Wikipedia)

One of my close friend introduced this game named “ Dragon City “ to me and I didn’t hesitate to try this game. I asked him to guide me on how to play this game and he didn’t refused my request and thanks to him because I easily adapt this game. In this game you can breed to different types of dragon and you can see the result just in few days. It looks like you’re experimenting what could be the possibility result if you breed the two different types of dragon. You can collect the gold just to earn more and you can buy a lot just to expand your territory. One of the features of this game is you can battle your dragon to the other players and you will used your strategical thinking on how to defeat or counter the attack the enemy’s dragon. Just like in “ Clash of Clan “ you can collect a resource to the elixir and used those resources wisely. Honestly, I played this game when I was on my high school days and for 2 months I was bored to play this game. Last Sunday I played this game just to visit my account and I was shock because all of my dragon are still there and breed some dragons and battle with the other player. During I played this game, I was so bored and to be exact almost 20 minutes that I played this game again. HAHAHAHA.

Fortnite

What is Fornite? 

Fortnite is set in contemporary Earth, where the sudden appearance of a worldwide storm causes 98% of the world's population to disappear, and zombie-like creatures rising to attack the remainder. Considered by Epic as a cross between Minecraft and Left 4 Dead, Fortnite has up to four players cooperating on various missions on randomly-generated maps to collect resources, build fortifications around defensive objectives that are meant to help fight the storm and protect survivors, and construct weapons and traps to engage in combat with waves of these creatures that attempt to destroy the objectives. Players gain rewards through these missions to improve their hero characters, support teams, and arsenal of weapon and trap schematics to be able to take on more difficult missions. Gameplay of Fornite 

Currently, Fortnite provides two distinct modes: 

1. A player-versus-environment "Save the World",

2. A player-versus-player "Battle Royale". 

On December 10, 2017, a friend of mine invited me to played this game named “Fornite”. I was so busy on that day and he said “ Tan, Laro ka muna nitong Fornite, kanina ka pa busy jan e. Kulang kami ng isa Squad tayo Mangtitrip tayo ng mga player tsaka may mga Chinese dito. HAHAHAHA “. I accepted their invitation to play that game. At first I don’t know what to do because on that day it was my first time to play this game. I was so thankful to my friend because he guide me how to play this game. During the game, I was so confused but at the middle of the game I can adapt this game by playing a single game. I admit to myself that I really love this game because you’re able to survive in the battle on your tactics and strategy. 

This game you can team up to 4 members per squad, you need to survive at the battlefield. The concept of this game similar to the popular game named “PUBG: Player Unknown Battle Ground”.To be honest, in “ Save the world “ I don’t know what is the game play because that particular mode you must buy that game in Epic Game before you play just like the PUBG on Steam but the other mode is free which is the “Battle Royale” where you can compete with the other player around the world. In Battle Royale, it has 4 game modes those are;

1. Solo

2. Duo

3. Squad and;

4. 50 vs 50

I was so happy to played this game because I can team up with the other players who are not a Filipino but an Asian Players. I can trashtalked them in our language HAHAHAHAHA just kidding. In this game, I learned on how to communicate with the others, and  I realized that every time I played this game I think I was on the real battle ground where you’re able to do what ever you want just to survive in the game.

Social Empire

On my highschool days, I accidentally discovered this game called " Social Empire " because I was bored scrolling up and down on my newsfeed in facebook and I was curious what is this game and I didn't hesitate to click that link. At first, I searched this particular game in google and to know also what is the mechanics or gameplay, the result was " This game has the similar concept on the trend gaming mobile application called " Clash on Clan". On that era, it was the time that Clash of Clash was one of the popular game and until now.

When the game loading screen finished, I followed the tutorial just to know the basic and also to adapt this game in an instant. In this game you’re able to protect your base against the enemy around your territory and also you can attack those enemy just to wipe out them. Just like in Clash of Clans, you need to train your troops from the barracks and if the camp is available you can attack those enemy you entered in your territory. This game can be played on Facebook but now it can be played in mobile devices where you are obligate to download the application  of this game.

I played this game for two years and I quit then I decided to play the Clash of Clans. When I played the Clash of Clans, I think I’m still playing Social Empire.

Playing this game, I noticed that I could gain some benefit in this game because it also improves my decision making and strategical thinking.

Tetris Battle

I still remember the time that I played this game named " Tetris ". I think I was in grade school that I played this game and on a simple game device called " Brick Game"  for the first time that I experienced to play this game. On my grade school days, the Brick Game, Gameboy and PSP are trending in terms of game devices. When I was addicted into this game on my grade school days, I always went into my aunt's place and borrowed the Brick Game just play this game.

In 2010, one of my friend told me to play the trending game called " Tetris Battle ", I didn't hesitate to play because I loved this game because it feels like I was on my grade school days. This game can be played on Facebook, the game mechanics still the same but it has other features like, multiple versus and etc.

In this game you can compete a real player not an AI (Artificial Intelligence), if you win in the battle you gain some star and if you have 5 stars you can rank up and if you lose a star or 2 stars will be deduct and if you have no star you will be demoted. The time limit of this game is 2 minutes where you can send lines as many as you can to defeat your opponent. 

I loved this game because it improves my decisions making and able to compete with other player. When Mr. Sinag told the class to play all the games that you wanted to play and create a reflection / journal, I was happy because I still remember the first game that I played in my life and the reason why I became an addicted gamer/player.(HAHAHAHAHAHA)

Arena of Valor

The gameplay of Honor of Kings highly resembles another game published by Tencent, League of Legends.

The Chinese version of the game requires either a Tencent QQ account or a WeChat account. Other versions of the game can be played as guest, which will later link his/her progress to a Facebook account. The Garena AOV versions of the game (published by Garena) require either a Garena or a Facebook account. However the servers are not completely in sync. If using the same account type on different platform, multiplayer with your WeChat friend is possible however many functions in game are disabled (daily gifting, profile viewing and clan inviting). Different account types cannot access the other's matchmaking queue, even on the same platform.[citation needed]

In September 2017, Nintendo announced a deal with Tencent to bring Honor of Kings to the Nintendo Switch. As the console is not yet sold in China at this point in time, analysts anticipate that to support this deal, Nintendo will be releasing the console in China by 2019.

After I played the Mobile Legend just for 2 games, I decided to find another game in order to enjoy my day during on my so called " Depress Thingy" (HAHAHA). One of my blockmates introduced and suggested to me the Arena Of Valor and they said I should try it if i'm bored to play the Mobile Legends. I didn't hesitate to installed this application in the desktop and after few minutes this game has been installed and I felt so excited to play this game. Same with playing the Mobile Legends, this game also a 5v5 or MoBa game theme so that it was easy for me to adapt this game in a few minutes. 

This game has the same mechanics and gameplay to the popular 5v5 or MoBa game theme like DotA ( Defense of the Ancient ) and LoL ( League of Legends ). Like the Mobile Legends it can be also played both Mobile Devices or Desktops. Arena of Valor created and introduced by the Garena (the one also who created the popular esport in the world, League of Legends). Honestly Speaking, I like this game than the Mobile Legends because the graphics and gameplay of this game is better than the Mobile Legends. No hurt feelings for the Mobile Legends gamers/players, this opinion came up from my references and experience as a gamer. Speaking of gamers, as one of them we want a game that has better mechanics, graphics and gameplay especially in 5v5 / MoBa game theme. To be honest, I think i'm gonna be addicted into this game. Just kidding. HAHAHAHA

Mobile Legends

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game designed for mobile phones. The two opposing teams fight to reach and destroy the enemy's base while defending their own base for control of a path, the three "lanes" known as "top", "middle" and "bottom", which connects the bases.

In each team, there are five players who each control an avatar, known as a "hero", from their own device. Weaker computer-controlled characters, called "minions", spawn at team bases and follow the three lanes to the opposite team's base, fighting enemies and turrets. (Wikipedia)

On December 8, 2017, that was the day did I played Mobile Legend for the first time. I still remember on that day, I was so upset because on our Oral Examination I didn't answered those questions correctly. After I took the Oral examination, I found a way to cheer me up even though I'm still thinking what happened on that examination. I suddenly ran to the Computer Lab and turn on a desktop. I saw the application of Mobile Legend and clicked that application without hesitation. I'm so excited to play the Mobile Legend during that time and I played that game just to avoid my self being depress. When I played the Mobile Legend, it was easy for me to played this game because I have a background in playing any 5v5 or MoBa game theme like DotA ( Defense of the Ancient ) and LoL ( League of Legend ).

 It took me atleast 3 minutes to adapt this game and this game was similar to the gameplay that I mentioned early MoBa 5v5 theme but the differences is it can be played both Mobile Devices or Desktop. After I played this game, it was so easy to win in classic so I tried to made a match in Ranked game by piloting or using the account of one of my blockmates named Denzel. As I played the Ranked Match, the result of that game as the same in Normal. In playing the Mobile Legend in just 2 games, I think that was enough to know how to played this game. I don't know if I will try again this game and I also thanked into this game because it help me to enjoy my day.

First Step to become a Game Designer

DECK CARDS  

I have played a lot of cards games like Lucky 9, Poker and etc. Last week our prof. in Game Development gave an instruction what suppose we gonna do in his class. Since I heard that each group must invent at least one game using the deck cards. Me and my group mate named Allan Peter, we based our invent deck card games through the anime that we watch like No Game No Life and Kakegurui and etc. After that we put some exciting rules of the game that we made. We invented 3 games using the deck cards, we named it, Carpie Diem, Guessing Card and Black vs Red. We shared the game that we made and let the other groups experienced this game and vice versa. As a result, every in the class of Game Development enjoyed because as they invented some games using the Deck card they gain a lot experience and knowledge. I learned in this session that we as a IT student we are capable to invent something that make relevant to our daily lives or we made something just for entertainment or having fun. We must think some idea that suitable to our target user of the game that we develop.

League of Legends

LEAGUE OF LEGENDS -  It is an online games which composed of 2 teams with 5 member each team. Each member of team can pick their desire role: Assassin (Top Lane), Fighter (Jungle), Mage (Mid Lane), Marksman(Bot Lane/ Carry) and Tank (Support). The objective of this game is to destroyed the Nexus of the opponent team if you want to win in a particular game whether it is normal or ranked. Both teams will engage the team fight in order to wipe out the opponent team and push the tower/turret as much as they can just to claim the word "victory" in their hands. To achieve the Victory in this game, each team must have strategies like to have a nice set/ crowd control during the clash/ team fight that will lead the opponent team into worst scenario of the game or each teams must stick to the plan like "Objectives over kills" in this strategy, each member focus on how to destroy the turret, steal or gain the rift heralds and drake, control the map by placing any wards by support and etc. Now a days, League of Legends is consider as one of the most popular online games and also became as part of E- Sport.

I’m playing the League of Legends since Season 4/ 2014. My friend suggested me to try this game because the concept of LoL has similarity in DOTA and he knew that I have an experienced playing the DOTA. I tried this game and I felt that time I think I’m gonna addicted in this game and now it's true, I have been addicted in this game. I’m not happy if I didn't play the LoL in a single. My motto is : LoL is Life. Legends Never Die. For me, LoL is a way of entertainment where I can have fun and also it can helped me to relaxed my mind when I’m stress. I would prefer to play this games than drinking alcohol when I’m stress or have a problem. Playing this game, I have been encountered different types of a gamer. The Trashtalker, The Walking Bounty, Noob Player, Feeling Pro, The Coach and many more. By the way, My main role in this League is Support a tank type or utility type and my secondary role is Mid Laner right now I main my favorite champion this season 8 Viktor. Hahahaha.

Killer_tasuki changed to blink_blink and later became Crude Play AF the IGN (In Game Name) of my game buddy Allan Peter S. Bulabon. Since HS we played same games like Special Force, DOTA,Grand Chase and etc. I’m one of the person who introduced the LoL to him and he tried this game and as a result just like me he has been addicted in playing LoL. He enjoyed so much playing this game because he encountered some exciting and thrilling just like when his  team down and no chance to win, he always a find a right way to carry his team in order to win despite of being lose in some team fights and made him so happy and proud. Some of that games that he played I witnessed on how he gave his best to win in every game whether it is normal or ranked match.
