Jessi’s relationship with NCT
I decided to reupload this but instead of just writing about her closest buddies, I described Jessi’s relationship with all the boys for future uploads! Hope you enjoy :)
Taeil: Her mom. He constantly worries about his little Jessi. The girl captured his heart right away, as his first instinct was to always protect her. He really wants her to feel comfortable, especially because she is the only girl. Sometimes he even agrees to girl nights or spa days, just to ensure she feels like one of the team.
Johnny: Her best friend and big brother. When he saw her for the first time, he was so excited. He knew right away they would be great friends – and they are now. Both are super sassy and sarcastic, always giving each other a hard time. When they are together, no one is safe. But it’s all love. They’re also each other’s biggest hype man.
Taeyong: It took some time for him to be okay with the fact that she will join as the first and only girl. He was confused, worried and just very pessimistic about the whole situation. Now? He truly treasures the way-too-energetic girl and loves her with his whole heart. Her and Doyoung are the only one’s he goes to whenever he is doubting himself or needs a shoulder to cry on. He trusts her with his life.
Yuta: You will always find them winking at and flirting with each other. They just love teasing the shit out of each other and the other guys. Yuta also loves to do tourists-activities with her, as she is one of the only one’s who is willing to explore a city for hours with him and taking a lot of aesthetic photos. He also confides in her a lot, as she is quite mature under her silly and childish façade.
Kun: Her second mom of the group. Kun welcomed her with the biggest and warmest smile of them all. He made her feel at ease immediately. Nowadays he always makes sure that the girl eats enough and gets enough sleep. He is also the one who has deep talks with her whenever she thinks low of herself. They work in a harsh industry, so it’s important for him that Jessi knows her worth and that she should never change a thing about herself just because some people “can’t accept perfection”.
Doyoung: These two are not really affectionate with each other and you won’t see them interact a lot on camera. But behind the scenes, they really depend on each other. As both of them don’t talk about their feelings with anyone, they learned to trust each other and since then, late night talks and crying sessions are their thing. They just talk about everything that worries them and about their thoughts on destiny and faith. Deep talks are their thing, therefore their relationship is very intimate on an emotional level.
Ten: The typical older brother – younger sister relationship. They live to make each other’s lives horrible and unbearable. Ten hates whenever Jessi is too lazy to take dance practice seriously or when she doesn’t listen to him and makes fun of him. Jessi hates it when Ten acts like he’s the boss and she is a dumb little kid or when he brings up embarrassing stories about her. But as much as they can’t stand each other sometimes, they love each other dearly. They are each other’s shoulder to cry on.
Jaehyun: They are not each other’s first choices to hangout with. That doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy the other’s company, it’s just that they are very different from each other. As Jessi is loud and always seems to have all the attention on her, Jaehyun is more quiet and reserved. Still they like acting all cute with each other and taking cute selcas.
Winwin: She loves this boy so dearly. It doesn’t make any sense to Jessi why SM pay him dust. In her eyes Winwin is one of the most talented guys out of NCT. She is so mesmerized whenever he dances, he even made her cry once. She admires him a lot and makes sure to let him know every day, how much he means to her and the band and how talented she thinks he is. It never fails to make him feel amazing, he loves how she always praises him. Sometimes you will even find them curled up in one of the practice rooms, sleeping because dancing is just too damn tiring.
Jungwoo: They are a couple of cuddle bugs. Whenever you see them, they are 100% cuddling. He loves how she accepts his skinship so easily and she loves how he is willingly warming her up whenever she is freezing (one of the dumbasses always leaves the windows open overnight, so she usually wakes up freezing). When they are not cuddling though, they are holding hands, kissing each other’s cheeks or foreheads and just always touching each other.
Lucas: He claims to be Jessi’s favorite as her little brother was named after him (he totally wasn’t). Other than that, these two always make SO MUCH noise. There is never a dull (nor quiet) moment when these two are together. Too much dumb bitch energy. They literally share one braincell and both are multilingual messes. Nobody knows in what language they actually communicate – neither do they. They just talk in whatever language comes to their mind and most of the time it works.
Mark: He was so awkward around her at first. Not because she was a girl but because she was girl. Lol. Like Taeil, he was worried she wouldn’t feel like a part of NCT. He made it his mission to never leave her out and to always be there for her. Mark succeeds in this most of the time. But it’s the thought that counts and Jessi really appreciates him. They have a lot in common as well; their duality is insane, awkward bean off stage, fucking beast on stage. Their stage presence is no joke. He always asks her for vocal lessons, she asks him for rap lessons. They complement each other very well – a real power couple (minus the dating part).
Xiaojun: Another guy who gets too little recognition for his talent in Jessi’s opinion. Whenever he sings, she is so in awe. They usually meet up in one of the other’s rooms and just sit on the bed to jam to some songs. He’s usually playing the guitar, Jessi is moving in some kind of way (as she never sits still) and then they just sing random songs. Both of their voices go so well together and it’s like two angels harmonizing. Sometimes there is a language barrier between them but it never holds them back from spending time with each other.
Hendery: A literal prince. Jessi has the biggest crush on him ever since she joined NCT and she is so ashamed – she feels like it makes her unprofessional. Whatever Hendery does or says, Jessi blushes and giggles. She is very obvious – every one has figured it out already. Everyone but Hendery himself. They spend loads of time together. Hendery is very gentle and sweet around her, he has three sisters, he knows how to treat girls and Jessi really appreciates him for this.
Renjun: He’s always been super awkward about her and never dared talking to her by himself. She doesn’t know why but that’s just how it was and still is. Not much has changed but on the rare occasion you will actually find them joking around. No one knows why they aren’t close with each other, as they are very similar, but it is what it is. Jessi finds him undeniable cute though and supports everything him and the Dreamies do. And for Renjun? He was the one who brought up the idea of Jessi joining the Dreamies, as he is intrigued by her talent. Awkward but supportive – a summary of their relationship.
Jeno: He is always extra smiley when she is around. He finds her so cute and adorable, he tends to pinch her cheeks a lot. She is so tiny and her cheeks are so chubby – he just wants to hug her all day long. Their relationship doesn’t consist of much talking – their skinship is the only “communication” going on. Cuddling and holding each other is just their thing. And bet she was in the first row, cheering her boy on when he ripped his shirt open during BOOM.
Haechan: Both of them get on the last nerves of literally everyone and they seriously can’t stand each other. They don’t hate each other – they do see the other as a good friend. But they annoy each other so much. Usually they are not in the same room for more than 10 minutes. During interviews they have to resist the urge to punch the other or roll their eyes every time one of them talks. They are a mess but they got each other’s back in tough times.
Jaemin: The flirtiest best friends you will ever encounter. So many people mistake them for a couple – but nah, just two bets friends having no boundaries. Throwing endless compliments at each other, touching each other, even changing in front of each other. They’ve done and seen it all but maybe due to that they are so persistent on staying friends. “We’ve seen everything already – why should we date? We’re already bored of each other.”
Yangyang: Another one of Jessi’s crushes, though no one understands why. He tends to be quite annoying and loud and just irritating but that’s exactly what Jessi loves about him. He is unapologetically himself at all times and she truly admires it. She would love to be more like him. Unlike Hendery, Yangyang knows that Jessi has a crush on him and he is so smug about it. Always flirting with her or letting everyone know she “loves” him. He is irritating but loveable after all.
Chenle: Her baby number 1. She babies him every chance she gets and even though he claims to hate it, he actually loves when she hugs him extra tight or plays with his hair. Or when she buys him food, or draws him a bath or gives him great back massages. He is a simple boy…he just loves Jessi.
Jisung: Her baby number 2. Unlike Chenle he loves how Jessi babies him and he is not ashamed to say that out loud. He loves everything he does for him, especially when she plays with his hair cause that shit is so calming and relaxing. He naturally calls her noona and she LIVES for it.
