1. Kew Garden: nice quiet neighborhood, mostly decent townhouses, a very small urban area, connected to highways, an area heavily relied on cars
2. Jamaica: terrible neighborhood, dirty and messy
2. Rego Park: mostly ok-looking apartments, diverse population, ok stores
3. Jackson Heights -- Queens Plaza: an area with a very diverse area, sketchy neighborhood
4. Queensborough -- 30 Av: nice neighbor kind of similar to forest hills, have some very nice apartment buildings, very young, a lot of new developments going on
5. Astoria: very industrial, almost no urban area
6. Woodside : very industrial looking
7. Flushing: mixed buildings, some nice, some just ok

1. Financial District: many luxury buildings around, very urban, very few botanic areas
2. Tribeca: one of the most expensive neighborhoods, very elegant
3. West Village: the most European area in NY, beautiful town-house apartments with all kinds of interesting diners, food stores, and shops. Delicate flower decor on the exterior of many houses. Old walk-ups, first floor merchandise.
4. Greenwich: many restaurants, bar. Young and chilled
6. Soho: many indie cool stores
7. Noho: really hip, many cool fashion stores, very young, clean, tidy and quiet neighborhood not as busy as Soho. Old walk-ups, first floor merchandise.
8. Noho 往右的 Lower East Side: 越往东越sketchy
9. East Village: young, many good restaurants
10. Gramercy & Kips Bat & Murray Hill & Turtle Bay: very urban, populated by office buildings and shops, industrial-looking tall apartment buildings (grey, black), with some very old elegant luxury apt buildings. Traffic heavy. The closer the houses to the mid line, the most luxurious the brownstone houses.
11. Hell’s kitchen/midtown west: young neighborhood with streets full of bars and restaurants, urban, close to Time Square, close to theatres
12. Upper East 60-68: b/w 6 line to Central Park -- gorgeous Brownstone townhouses or luxurious apartments, luxury shops on Madison Ave. East of line 6 -- normal-looking apartments
13. Upper East 68-77: b/w line 6 to Central Park -- there are brownstones, but a bit higher 4-5 floors and less luxurious. East of line 6 -- normal-looking apartments
14. West Harlem West 110 - 135 (Columbia University area): 靠近哥大也就是Amsterdam Ave 往左的区域很safe很tidy, Amsterdam 往右很Harlem很Sketchy
15. West 136 St. 一直到 Inwood: Sketchy neighborhood, cheap shops

Brooklyn (massive, overall impression better than Queens)
1. Dumbo: the area I lived when I used airbnb, tall apartment, right next to Brooklyn bridge, very industrial, many concrete-colored buildings
2. Downtown Brooklyn: nothing special, low quality stores, not a great downtown
3. Brooklyn Heights: many brownstone 3-4 floor houses, gorgeous neighborhood, not a lot of shopping areas though
4. Bay Ridge (the very south of Brooklyn): mostly townhouses, quiet, nice, tidy, clean and safe
5. Sunset Park: a lot of Mexicans, mostly ok townhouses
6. Crown Heights: populated by black people, decent townhouses, a little messy but not very terrible
