@lottieno9 @applemelodies @junecast-moonfast @murdoczasylum @navybluedell and if i forgot you and you want to do it just say i tagged you. i don’t want to tag 10 people cuz of potential overlap
Thanks for the tag. This is gonna be kinda hard to do because I have many different playlists, the one I'd say I use the most is one of mainly punk music, and the one that's just all my liked songs for the last like 3 years. I uassally just queue songs.
I'll go with the punk one.
1. I'm Not In Love - Talking Heads
2. I Want You - Inspireal Carpets and Mark E Smith
3. I Wish You Wouldnt Say That - Talking Heads
4. I Am A Poseur - Xray Spex
5. Repitition - The Fall
6. The Big Country live at WXRT - Talking Heads
7. An Artist is an Artist - Skunk Anansie
8. Sailin' On - Bad Brains
9. Moj Život Novi Val - Paraf
10. Wings - The Fall
Okay haha alot of Mark E Smith and early Talking Heads
@fullmusicbardsquared @distractedbybyrne @waitingforasong and anyone who wants!
@lottieno9 Thanks for tagging me! :) I have plenty of playlists to choose from, but I'll pick my Whatever playlist. It's the largest one, and it's so random. 1. The Eve of The War (ft. Richard Burton & Justin Hayward) - Jeff Wayne
2. I Got You Babe - UB40 & Chrissie Hynde
3. Saturday Night - Herman Brood
4. Op De Tandem Naar Marokko - Armand
5. Heartbeat - Don Johnson
6. Crawling (One More Night Live) - Linkin Park
7. Les Champs-Elysées - Joe Dassin
8. Take Me to the River (Live at Central Park) - Talking Heads
9. Dance (Pt. 1) - The Rolling Stones
10. Biko - Peter Gabriel
I don't know who to tag tbh. So anyone who reads this, just consider yourself tagged or not.
Yay! A TEXT POST
Anyone got any tips on learning to love yourself? Especially when it comes to learning to love (or at least feel comfortable with) the way you look?
I'm slowly but surely edging closer and closer to 50, and I still haven't found a way to look at my reflection and feel good about it. I still feel like the child/teenager who got bullied for her entire existence and wished she would grow up to be a bit more pretty. Well, I still look exactly the same. Except even fatter! Yay for perimenopause! Now I gain weight even just for pointing at a piece of cake!
I don't need any go get professional help yada yada, because I've been through that a zillion times already and I'm kinda done with it by now.
Just, how do you look at yourself and feel good about it? Outside of my close family no one has ever called me pretty or anything ever, not even my ex (who was a stupid ass alcoholic, but still...). But that aside, they always tell you to find it within yourself and not get it from the appreciation from others.... I SO wish I could find it. Summer always makes it worse tbh. I guess I just needed to vent for a bit.
