trash beasts attacked and destroyed their town which leads to them having a deep talk about their future together
reader wants to move somewhere else together and rebuild their lives but Gris wants reader to come with him and join the cleaners
they get into an argument because reader doesn't want to be a cleaner and doesn't want him to be one either because of how dangerous it is but this is something that gris feels like he wants to do, no. needs to do.
after their initial fight, they don't talk for a few days before coming together again
they both look sad and upset because they know where this talk is going to lead
neither of them wants to talk first
after a while reader looks up at gris and speaks first
"i think we both know what we're going to say here so I'll just go first... i don't want it to be like this but i think this is the end for us..."
they go back and forth for a while but still end up on concluding that breaking up is the only option for them
before leaving, reader tells gris what town they'll be moving to
YEARS LATER
cleaners get a mission in a nearby town where trash beasts have popped up
when gris hears what town it was his heart drops
he convinces enjin to let him drive the car and speeds off with everyone to the site
the rest of the team is confused as to what's going on with gris since they've never seen him this anxious and distressed
the second they get to the town gris is running out of the car trying to get a feel for the situation
once the rest of the team clears the trash beasts he's off trying to find you
he finds a crowd and pushes his way through before seeing someone unconscious under rubble
from his angle they already look so similar to you but he's too scared to make sure
he takes shaky steps forward then rushes over once he sees your face
screaming and crying for you to wake up but it was too late
someone comes up to him and tells him that in the midst of pushing a child away from danger when the rubble fell on you
he cradles you closer to him while smoothing out your dishelved hair as he whispers
Okay i know i said i'd post the enjin scenario by now but this idea actually took over me and i couldn't stop until i finished it buttttt one more scenario idea! this one includes a lot more dark themes and angst (a lot of heavily implied things but nothing explicitly written out)

- this one is Gris x red light district worker!reader
- she’s sold by her family so they can have more money and less mouths to feed
- however after years of being there she had enough and tries to run away
- she gets found out and thugs are chasing after her
- team akuta and supporters are in town after a mission for a team meal
- on their way to the restaurant reader runs into Gris and falls down
- he tries to help her up but she hears the thugs close by and in a panic she asks him to help her
- Gris looks and sees the thugs coming by and instinctively puts her behind him to protect her
- team akuta steps in and fights off the thugs
- afterwards they take her with them to go eat so they can hear what happened
- she opens up briefly, telling them how she was sold to the brothel years ago and today was the day she was finally able to escape until those thugs came coming after her
- Gris listens to her story but he couldn’t help but notice how clear her eyes were, despite everything. There was still so much fight in her — a resilience that left him in awe.
- after everything, they ask if she wants to go to cleaners hq with them
- she’s unsure at first but decides to go with them to hq for now since she doesn’t have anywhere else to go
- she’s very wary of men (to be expected) so she spends a lot of her time with semiu, riyo, tomme, amo, eishia, guita, dear, rudo, and zanka but spends the most time with tomme
- knowing that she’s not comfortable with men yet, Gris keeps his distance from her, he’s not going as far as avoiding her at all cost, but just giving her enough space to help her feel comfortable in this new environment
- when she first gets there, she doesn’t really know what she can do to help around hq since she isn’t a giver and honestly doesn’t know anything the cleaners since she was far removed from anything outside the red light district
- she starts by helping around hq with cleaning, cooking and small odd jobs from semiu, but as she spends more and more time with tomme and hearing about her job as a supporter, she starts becoming interested in wanting to be one too
- after months of staying with everyone at hq, she slowly becomes more comfortable with everyone
- she’s still a bit hesitant to spend time with the supporters since there’s more guys than people she’s comfortable with (but she’s getting there)
- even though she’s still not comfortable with men, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t think Gris is attractive (especially with how he immediately went to protect her) but that makes her even more nervous whenever she does see Gris (doesn’t know how to navigate her feelings when she does feel attracted to someone)
- after all the years she spent in the brothel, she doesn’t know how to interact with men outside of what she learned, so initially she rejected any help from the guys because after all, all the interactions she had with men were transactional (she doesn’t necessarily believe that guys at hq are only being nice for transactional purposes but she can’t shake that mindset quite yet)
- whenever she has brief interactions with Gris, she keeps it to her previously programmed awkward politeness, but Gris always treats her with gentleness from a distance that honestly confuses her
- gris would always stop one step away from her, making sure to never crowd her space before saying hi to her in a calm and gentle voice, something she was never used to.
- one day tomme pulled her aside, said she had something to give her. it was a small tin of tea. she looked at tomme confused as to what was going on. tomme let out a small laugh and explained that the tea might calm her down if she ever felt overwhelmed with anything. as tomme turned around to leave, she looked behind her shoulder and said something that struck reader with a new wave of unfamiliar emotions.
- "oh, by the way, gris told me not to tell you but that's from him"
- (separate pov: tomme tells gris that she told reader that gris was the one who got the tea for her, and he just sighed. Gris: "was she upset or uncomfortable?" Tomme: "nope, she just nodded and took the tin into her room." Gris just nodded, relieved that his gift didn't make her uncomfortable.)
- later on she talks to Tomme and Semiu about gris and her feelings because she’s so confused about everything
- they tell her that it’s normal to feel confused since this is all so new to her and reassures her that at least out of all the guys Gris was someone she could trust whenever she felt ready, but to take her time and that she didn't need to rush into anything right now
- after the talk with them, she goes back to her room and thinks about her past, her life now and what exactly she feels towards Gris
- she knows they haven’t really interacted much but whenever they did he was always polite and careful to never overstep any boundaries . she's also seen the way he treats everyone else at hq, especially with the children and honestly? it warms her heart when she sees that
- her old life she's always seen adults be cruel to children, but seeing all the kids here being treated so well feels like a whole new universe
- she thinks that maybe the people here can be trusted..
- a few days later she heads to the dining hall and sees gris eating by himself, she takes a deep breath before heading over with her food
- she sits down at the same table but a bit away from him before quitely saying
- "...thank you for the tea..."
-gris look shocked at her initiating first but smiles back at her before saying
- "you're welcome."
a/n: I may make a part two where reader opens up more to Gris and they get closer and navigate their feelings
i got the outline almost finish so it's in the works!!!! might take a couple days cuz of scheduling tho (ᵕ—ᴗ—)
(also cannot guarantee quality of it since it's my first time writing a fic but im praying to all the religious figures out there that it turns out somewhat decent)

I am not artistically gifted like so many great artists on here BUT I found a picrew maker where I could kinda make what I’d have my oc look like. Obvi it’s not completely in style of gachiakuta but it’s pretty close to what I’m imagining for her. Only thing is I would probably add blonde highlights throughout her hair and have a few ear piercings as well but I didn’t want to draw over the picrew out of respect to the maker.
