Mike needed the “you’re braver than you think” arc, not Holly.

Mileven needed the “shared trauma doesn’t mean we’re compatible” breakup, not Jancy.

Byler needed the “I just needed you” resolution, not Lumax.

Either Willel or Elmax needed the “you understand me better than anyone” resolution, not Mileven.

They kept giving the right arcs to the wrong characters and the wrong relationships.

Every time I analyze Milevens relationship, it creeps me out more and more.

Imagine being Eleven, you have been 12 years old in a lab being raised, you have no idea of the work outside of that lab, your escape and you find a boy that in a week is kissing you without knowing what a kiss is. You are practically hidden for over a year without 0 contact except a man who now is your father figure. Then he lets you go to a dance ball with the boy that kissed you one time and you knew just for 1 week, and then you are again hidden again and your "boyfriend" is the only one that can see you, and you only make out with him, probably without knowing why because you don't understand the concept of relationships or intimacy... And practically without knowing nothing from the world because the majority of the time you are hidden!

And I'm supposed to see this as a peak romantic love story? Sorry but this feels like a horror movie, feels like Stockholm syndrome so much.

The way they treated Eleven's trauma and story for me is so disrespectful, yes we know her trauma in the lab and all but what about her feelings? We barely see anything from her point of view about her trauma. I liked a lot that she tried to find who she was in season 2 but it was not enough, that arc was closed so quickly and they never truly explored her trauma. I would have loved that they developed more problems about not knowing how to interact with other people or even talk, like exploring her underdeveloped social skills. But I suppose they didn't want to do it because it would have been very obvious that she dating Mike without knowing how to speak is weird asf, even though in the series is already creepy if you think 5 seconds about their relationship
