awww the like button turns into a rainbow when you press it! that's so cute...hey staff what's with all the trans women you keep nuking?
The best decision secretary 2002 made was to be a comedy. It was never a raunchy erotic thriller and it never will be. And because of that, the characters aren't trapped in needing to be Constantly Sexy. Lee plays with her hair and taps her feet and sniffs constantly and wears frumpy clothes and isn't the best at makeup. Edward Grey is a dom, sure, but is also the human equivalent of a nervous chihuahua. Lee does anything and he gets so horny about it he has to do situps. He's so scared of his ex he physically hides from her. They're silly and unsexy and it's great

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992)
“The angels will return, and when you see the one that's meant to help you, you will weep with joy.” Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me dir. David Lynch
the tragedy of laura palmer is that she was surrounded by men who saw her suffering and ignored it. she was taken advantage of by nearly every person in her life and the rest turned a blind eye. laura was a girl filled with so much love and so much pain and she tried to push it out in any way she could but it never ended up being enough. this movie was so much more visceral than the show. it was so hard to watch laura say goodbye to donna and even james knowing that they would never get to see her ever again. throughout the show we get to know laura's suffering through the eyes of others. piece by piece we gather that she was troubled, but seeing it all laid out in this movie-- actually seeing her struggle through these things is much different than simply hearing it scattered throughout a handful of episodes. laura isn't an angel- she is far from a perfect sinless victim which is why she's so important. she is far more than someone who was simply beautiful and kind who died. despite all this i know she is an angel.
It is happening again.

People on here talk about Laura Palmer like she’s their friend who actually died

I gotta hand it to sandler that this scene is exactly what listening to that song feels like.

here's my impression of a guy who has an old timey contraption of a knee brace: aah fuck my knee brace won't buckle properly this morning because it's an old timey contraption of some kind
