it’s strange to have this blog. it’s even better than a 5-ish year long diary, in some ways. I mean. I’ve kept a diary for about as long as I posted on this blog, but I never bothered to write about things I enjoyed for fun in it (not did I update it as regularly).

I wonder if I’m speaking to the void. But I also wonder if anyone who knew Rebecca over the internet 5-4-3-2-even 1 year ago wonders what Rebecca now is up to. I know I wish I could tell Rebecca 4 years ago that her weird obsession with Caligula would fade, but then she would go to college and actually be a classics major like she always wanted? and she’ll weird out her professor by sort of defending Caligula on accident but it will be okay

and her cosplay will have employed her for 2 and a half years in real jobs. and though she hated herself for everything she did, she’s ended up in a place that’s not that bad.

it’s nice to think that someone out here will read this and smile. but even if not, I did. :)
