I truly believe our bodies are inherently wise. I think that our bodies can sense more than we are intellectually aware of. I think sometimes we are not grateful or appreciative or loving of our bodies - we treat them like they are disposable vehicles for our brain. I’m certainly not perfect at listening to my body, or at having only positive non-critical thoughts about my body. But now I respect it and love it much more than I used to and that is something.
