There are a great many things Jotaro dislikes. Foremost on that list are those who take advantage of people who cannot fight fairly back, the idea of going for a power trip that harms others. He knows a jackass when he sees one, and likes to think that he can recognize a person in distress, too.
Thatās a problem he knows how to fix, and one that he isnāt going to ignore. The two idiots harassing this girl are too busy posturing as she turns on them to notice Jotaro casually ambling up behind them. One of the guys grabs her wrist. Bad move, buddy.
Itās been a while since Jotaro last got into a fistfight. A year or two, maybe. But he didnāt get his reputation of being an untouchable punk (holy terror) for nothing.Ā
The guy doesnāt see Jotaroās fist coming until it smacks into the side of his head and knocks him into a wall. He turns the the one whoās still standing and grabs his arm, expression seriousā practically advertising that he is not the type of guy one wins against in a fight. He is the type who sends people to the hospital.
āFuck off while you still have the ability to run.ā
The guy protests & postures until Jotaroās grip tightens and his other hand raises in a fist. The guy has two seconds to make a choice and he uses his time wisely: he steps back, Jotaro allowing his arm to be freed, and backtracks. The one Jotaro had punched a few seconds ago stands shakily, notices heās rapidly becoming left behind and thatās not what he wants to be, and follows. One of them swears loudly (and inventively!) at Jotaro.Ā
Jotaro doesnāt deign to respond.
Heāll talk to the girl instead. Hands get shoved back into his pockets, posture falling from threatening to casual.
āWhat a pain. You alright? Iām hoping you didnāt know them.ā
For a moment there, Mei had a sudden sense of Deja Vu, well somewhat. She had been in a situation almost similar to this before. Only this time it was a males fist that saved her instead of a kiss. Meiās eyes widened, it was that the male who came to her rescue was tall (Like really tall) or intimidating. More like she was surprised that someone had acted so fast to defend a stranger. She felt relieved.Ā
The male didnāt have to do much for the two to start backing away.Ā
Again she had been saved by someone, Maybe she should start carrying a taser or pepper spray around.Ā
Her attention was soon brought back to the one who saved her, shaking her head.
āNo I didnāt know them. Just some random guys who decided to bother me while I was walking home from work.ā She answered,Ā āI didnāt actually think things like this actually happened outside of anime or manga.ā She said the last part more to herself then anything.
āUh...ā She began looking at him.Ā
This was probably the most she had actually spoken to someone aside from her mother or professors.Ā āThank you for helping me. I uh... Thank you.ā She felt somewhat awkward, she never really had to thank anyone, at least like this, before.
