Ball State’s Social Media Night is coming!!
Are you ready?
Are you sure you’re ready??
Ok, you’re probably ready.
Tuesday Night at 7 PM is tipoff and here are some quick stats to keep you up-to-date on the each teams roster!
Ball State Men’s Basketball
To start off: Ball State’s Mens Basketball is going through one of its best season they’ve had in a long time with a very respectable record of 15-8 (regular season). That record holds an even more impressive 10-3 record while they played at home in the promise lands of Muncie, Indiana. This figure is great news seeing how this #ChirpChirp social media night is being hosted at Worthen Arena, home of the cardinals! Their away records isn’t as impressive, however, while standing at 3-5.
Our best players are shooting some impressionable numbers. Ball State’s best field goal shooter, Franko House, is standing at an astonishing .535 during the 2015-16 season. The second best sharp shooter, Trey Moses, is not too far behind with .498. The next three best shooters are Bo Coulhoun (.473), Nate Wells (.471), and Frances Kiapway (.454).
#BSUBB is also averaging 70.3 ppg (points per game) and a team average of .444 field goal percentage. But where BSUBB dominates the most is at the free throw line. With a dominating figure of .689 free throw percent, let’s hope that the Bobcats decide not to foul out the Cardinals!!

Now some for some Ohio Bobcats figures
Overall the Ohio Bobcats standing is 14-8 and out of those, 11-2 are at home. Their away games are also not that impressive standing at 2-4. That, on top of Ball State’s impressive at home record, is a comforting statistic for the Cardinals and fans for this huge game!
The top five best field goal shooters for the Bobcats are as followed (in descending order: best to worst): Wadly Mompremier (.619 😱), Doug Taylor (.588), Antonio Campbell (.576), Drew Crabtree (.5), and Treq Setty (.480).
Their average field goal ppg as of the 2015-16 regular season is 77.2 which is .469 percent.

ON PAPER THIS GAME CAN GO EITHER WAY
If you were a betting man/woman (which I am not and I’m sure my wallet/dignity are happy about) it would probably be in your best interest to put your money on the Cardinals. This is, of course, based off of all the statistics that were mentioned above. Specifically, Ball State’s home record and Ohio’s away record.
It will be tough for either team to get this W no matter what the numbers say.
This victory, whoever it is that will achieve it, will secure the team that wins a spot in the Mid-Western conference.
All students, faculty, friends, and family are extremely encouraged to attend and participate in all the activities that are going to be held during and after the game!
GO CARDINALS!!
