I am three years sober.

i had no ability to experience time in a linear fashion in year one.

my mom died of alcoholism year two.

the pandemic happened year three.

so, logically, i would really like a hat that says “i stayed sober through the global pandemic of 2020 and all i got was this hat.” i don’t know why i want this hat so bad. but i do. i don’t know why it is important that i receive it from someone else. but it is. i have had dreams about this hat. so far no one has gotten me one. i could probably afford to get myself one.
