a modest smile shows upon jesseâs face, and he nods his head.  â yo, are you sure? that would be awesome, if you donât mind. â  he really doesnât mind paying for assistance, but if sheâs offering â well, itâs awfully kind of her to help show jesse around the massive ship of a city. people arenât often so kind without even knowing him.
â i was actually lookinâ for a good place to find stimpaks, since iâm runninâ low on them, if you know any good places to grab them. â  as he speaks, his eyes unintentionally wander to the device on the womanâs wrist, brows raising out of curiosity. was that a pip-boy? those things are rare, and to jesseâs knowledge, something that can only be found in a vault. not that it matters much, but jesse admittedly hasnât ever met someone from a vault before! how intriguing!
finding focus, jesse once again meets the strangerâs gaze, flashing her an amiable smile.  â my nameâs jesse, by the way. what, uh⊠what can i call you, missâ? â
Stimpacks. Well, everyone needs that at some point or another, but Rivet City tends to charge a bit more for them than Eliana would like. âItâs no problem, seriously. Iâm not very busy at the moment, anyway.â If the Brotherhood wonât train her for real, she might as well help elsewhere.
âOh, Iâm Eliana. Itâs nice to meet you, Jesse.â For the first time in awhile, that overused phrase doesnât feel so hollow when it leaves her lips. He seems nice, and not in the disingenuous way that sheâs become used to. âIâm sure you could find some Stimpacks down in the Marketplace, but I think I could get you a better deal on them elsewhere. Everythingâs a bit overpriced on this rusty old tub.â
If she didnât have to stay close by, she would suggest they go to Megaton. Moira makes it clear that sheâs always willing to cut her favorite researcher a good deal, but thatâs much too far away. âThere might be a caravan outside. They usually give a lower price. But if there isnât, I could snag you some from the Brotherhood of Steel.â Outsiders canât trade within the Citadel, but that didnât mean she couldnât buy on behalf of someone else.Â
