Hello lovely followers

//This blog has been a wonderful experience for me. I love Ahri as a muse, and exploring different things, interacting with so many people has been some of the most fun I’ve had in the longest time.

I was very scared when I started this blog, because well I hadn’t really tried a canon character before, I was too afraid I’d step on people toes or people wouldn’t see Ahri the way I do. I have come to learn that different perspectives are some of the best things to work off of. I’ve seen so many of my twinsies running around and each holds a different aspect of her character at heart. It is from this and other interactions that I’ve been able to grow as a writer and dig deeper into a character.

With that said though, I feel it isn’t in me to be able to keep multiple blogs running at the same time. Far too often I will be sitting on my oc, letting her own drafts and asks languish, with little or no muse for Ahri and even forgetting what my login was for here. It became taxing to try and keep both active at once, which usually involved running this blog on an incognito window, and I would feel overloaded when trying to start writing anything at all.

It is now that I log into this blog, and look over the 750 people that chose to follow me and I say thank you, thank you for taking the time to follow and take interest in me. But it is also at this time that I’m going to put this blog on an indefinite hiatus. I’m leaving all my writing and such here, so I can easily come back if I feel I can get a handle on anything again, and I’m still happy enough to roleplay Ahri on different spectrums if some people want to, but as of now this blog won’t be producing any new content for a while.

//This is something that would probably not be safe for either of them. Even with someone trusted there it will spark a more fight or flight in Ahri, at which point she’d most likely fight. This could lead to clawing or if she’s been hungry far worse things for her partner.

This can probably be attributed to those that managed to fight back during the war when she was actively feasting. Or other close encounters that she doesn’t wish to think about too much.

“Is that a challenge?”

“That depends, fox.” Kathe said, her spear clutched tightly in one hand as the other was held before her, ready to channel her wind magic should she need to. She had not expected to see Ahri here in the Freljord or, in all honestly, at all. Since the fall of the Institute, she had seen no other champions other than the ones that called the frozen tundras of Freljord their home.

“Are you a danger to me, or not?”

A simple game of hide and seek…That was it? It all seemed so…simple. Kathe was a fairly skilled hunter, though Ahri had been a Champion in the League when she had only been a Summoner. She had improved since then, of course, but who is to say the fox hadn’t?

Finally nodding, Kathe sheathed her spear fully “Well. Then whoever wins gets something of their choice. It could be anything, unless you seek to claim my life. That I will have to fight you for.”

She knew all too well of Ahri’s abilities, and had heard stories about her. Nearly everyone had. She was not someone you wanted breathing down your neck.

The fox’s expression lit up at Kathe’s response, “These terms seem fair, and you can put yourself at ease, I wouldn’t be one to try and claim your essence. If I did I wouldn’t be able to play more games with you.” The huntress was offered a fanged grin along with her words, she did hate it when others assumed she was going to kill them. As if she would be so out in the open with it.

With that spear lowered Ahri would be quite happy to close the distance between them, “Now let us decide who gets to be the hunter and who gets to hide first, or are there other rules one must set for this game.” Even though she had been the one who offered to play Ahri had to admit she wasn’t fully aware of all the rules. Usually she’d have far too much fun playing to really care.

It spotted her. She? It was hard to tell. The tails and… ears as Diana spotted now were off-putting. She froze still, staring at the creature for more than a single moment. It didn’t seem to react, and brows furrowed with curiosity. Her blade was at her side, and despite the fact her bow was what was in her hand, that was reassuring enough to have her step forward once, twice.

“Hello…?” She said, and for a brief moment she wondered if common was a language this creature could even speak. There was something of fifteen feet between them, and she crossed another five, a single armoured hand rising in a gesture of peace.

“These are Lunari grounds, stranger. What are you doing here?”

It seemed she had run across a smart one, or at least a cautious one, that might make the game all the more fun. Then again there was the off chance it could sour things rather quickly, especially with how the other woman wore a blade.

Slowly she’d turn towards the armored woman letting her golden eyes give her a look over. “Have I trespassed then? I’m dreadfully sorry.” Her voice was sweet, and smooth as she spoke her form remaining ever still just facing towards the lunari. “I’m just such a curious fox, and I was rather bored.”

Soft ears perked up, her expression as if she just came to some great realization. “Maybe you could help me, if you mind entertaining me with a small game...that is unless you’d wish me to leave.”

Stories from the south were just that to the Rakkor. Stories. Hardly worth learning, hardly worth knowing, hardly worth time. But not to the young Solari that kept her nose to the books and her eyes in the moonlight. She had read of creatures large and small that made Valoran their home. Soe myths, some where accounts swore blind they were true. Diana knew better than to believe anything – just as she knew not to doubt anything could be the truth.

So when she spotted the moonlight glinting upon the white hairs of tails that barely looked human, it was not suspicion that flickered to the forefront of her mind like any good warrior is apt to find (perhaps negligently, but she had made her peace long ago that curiosity was her greatest strength as much as it was a weakness).

It would be rude to stride out and simply ask what are you however; and the young curious girl inside her had awoken. So she crept between the trees, following the mysterious woman (and she could see it – she was a woman the closer she got). That was until a thick twig snapped loudly beneath her heavy boots.

Stealth had never been her strength.

A bored fox if oft to wander, and she certainly didn’t have much to do. So she found herself among the trees, letting the moonlight guide her path, at least until she found some idea of what she could do to enjoy herself.

How fortuitous it was for her then when those keen fluffy ears caught the sound of that twig snapping. That was the direction her sense would focus on, smile curling on her lips, but of course she couldn’t just turn and greet her pursuer. There simply wouldn’t be any fun in that. Golden eyes glanced about at her surroundings a plan and a path forming in her mind, though her movement would pause. She would see just how close the curious person would get.

And then the fun would begin.

Her hands were simply raised above her head, showing she meant no harm if anything. “I would not consider myself a danger, a bit mischievous yes, but no danger.” She’d smile, “I merely believe that with my prowess I’d be able to sneak up on such a fierce hunter of the institute, with your boasting before I figure it would be a nice game, we might even wager something if you wish.” She was happy the flames of her tails were keeping her nice and warm, along with the cold weather outfit she’d been bundled up in. Surely hiding in the Freljord would be as simple as it was at home.

Kathe lowered her spear slightly as Ahri spoke, a soft sense of relief seeping into her system. Perhaps the fox meant her no harm, and this was all simply supposed to be a game.

“Wager?” The huntress leaned against her spear, eyeing the fox with a bit of curiosity and unease “What could you possibly want from me? I have little to offer someone such as yourself, but you must have an idea of what you want.”

She was a trickster, a manipulator. Kathe had seen that much on the Rift. Her little game was not so simple.

“You have a warm place, and surely some nice things I could enjoy, I am a curious fox you know.” Just as Kathe lowered her spear, Ahri was quite happy to drop her arms, taking upon a more relaxed posture.

“It could be a simple game of hide and seek, so who is the better hunter, and who is the best at keeping from being caught.” There was that grin, her intentions so far were innocent enough. “I’m just a bored little fox, won’t you indulge me? I’m sure there’s things you’d want me to do no?” @frostbitten-seeker

Hello all you lovely followers

//So I’m slowly getting my muse back for Ahri, or at least attempting to. I have purged my drafts because having all of those on hold was making me feel terrible, and well I’m really sorry for being AWOL so long. I’m finally mostly recovered from my family emergency, and my little brother is doing better so far. So I’m going to try and get back to running this blog again alongside @iris-the-electromancer and @poisoned-whispers. I’m open to plot with anyone who would like to, and lets see if I can get a handle on my lovely fluffy fox.
