majority of the time when tumblr decides two male best friends are actually married they are just grabbing canon and then adding their own twist to it but with suits it is just like that there is no heterosexual explanation for mike and harvey

"good boy" "who did this to you", harvey always getting mike out of trouble, mike wearing harveys clothes, "aye aye captain", "you know, you once asked me why i hired you, and i told you it was because life is like this, and i like this. it was like this not because of the risk we're taking, but because of who you are," everyone referring to them as highschool girlfriend and boyfriend, mike being referred to as harvey's 'puppy' or 'pet', mike saying the mere thought of betraying harvey was 'disgusting', harvey getting jealous when mike called someone else 'sir'.

is there an actual straight explanation for any of that?
