“I used to say I’d know you anywhere, but it’s getting harder.”

i really hope that one day a girl will look at me and think she’s finally found what she was searching for. and i hope that i’ll be enough for her.
Facing and accepting your emotions and feelings isn’t a sign of weakness and lack of control. Our feelings don’t have to “make sense,” because they’re not always meant to. There’s no need to fear your own emotions and feelings. What’s dangerous is dismissing them and claiming they’re not there, although they often manifest outwardly, intensely and irrationally. It’s okay to admit to ourselves that we feel hurt or slighted, and it’s not always our fault, because that’s the beautiful beginning of the healing process. Be real with yourself to save yourself. Nobody has to live in your head and heart but you, so you have to make sure it’s comfortable and soothing up in there, not a battle ground.
