Fun facts (part 3)

Dummkopf Forks knows how to ride a motorcycle, and he also knows how to use firearms (especially a shotgun).

Doomed Bang smokes, even with the trash bag on .

The motto of the two main girls and the 19 main boys is, “Sure, they're idiots, but they're our idiots.”

Lax Cook and Ninny Day, being the tallest, always run into problems in small spaces.

Every time Putz Flynn takes his group to see an experimental, thought-provoking movie or play, by the end they still haven't understood the message at all.

Dunce Richy's adolescence was difficult because he wore braces—specifically, the kind with an orthodontic harness—which is what sparked his narcissism.

Botch Horns and Doofus Bee are the only ones who are allergic to pilicinine.

Fun facts (part 2)

The town is moved by the friendship and mutual affection among the groups of the 21 main characters, especially when they all come together for activities that benefit the town (such as preventing senseless deaths on trains).

In a roundabout way, Ruckus Morris is the third wheel in the romantic relationship between Loopy Durnam and Zany Ueno

Although it may sound ironic, Zany Ueno is addicted to sweets and candy

The 21 main characters and the others help Dingy McPherson with her financial and personal situation, especially by cheering her up—unlike her own mother—so she doesn't end up just like her.

Sadly, Boffo Loco Belmor's mother never visits him as often as his father does, which is why Boffo Loco never really remembers his mom very well.

In a humorous yet canonical way, the 21 main characters are, in terms of physical appearance, somewhat inferior to the other characters

Fun facts (part 2)

Stupe McFly used to work at a supermarket checkout; he always had to put up with the spelling mistakes of the customers who came in. Whenever he had a break at work, he would always call his best friend, Dimwit Burns, to talk about their lives.

Ironically, Lax Cook likes to cook and make meals for his group, even though his food always turned out terrible. But to keep him from feeling sad, Dummkopf Forks and the rest of the group always ate his food (while fighting the urge to vomit).

Numskull Starship can speak any language that exists, even extinct ones.

The characters (even the supporting ones) always confuse Hapless Bearson with Doofus Bee and vice versa.

Most of the characters (except, of course, Stupe McFly) always mispronounce Dummkopf Forks' name.

Dummkopf Forks and Hapless Bearson are distant relatives (that is, cousins) who didn't know it at first, until a blood test proved they were distant relatives.

Every Valentine's Day, Numskull Starship and Calamity Bottoms put on lipstick to give little kisses to the 19 boys; in the end, the boys end up with lots of kisses.

The athletic teens are always getting caught up in the romance between the 19 boys and the 2 girls, especially Loopy Durnam, who always cries when one of the 19 boys is with one of the 2 girls; he ends up saying, “My parents!!” while they look at him, confused.

Everyone in the town of Dumbville, Australia, knows that the 19 main male characters have mixed feelings toward the 2 main female characters—and vice versa—and even Bonehead Carr's workplace knows it.

Whenever one of the members of Group 5 has a date with Numskull Starship or Calamity Bottoms, Stumble McCall always plays background music right in the middle of the date, which annoys the members.

The characters from the *Dwtd* spin-offs:

Klutz Moon and Bozo Sun: They are two friends who are complete opposites. Klutz Moon likes to sleep and is very calm and serene, while Bozo Sun is the exact opposite—he loves sunny days and is full of energy and optimism. Despite their personality differences, they are friends who care deeply for each other.

Noob Not: a guy who finds himself caught up in adventures and misadventures in the forest; he always tries to fit in with the 21 main characters, even though they see him as just some guy who does dangerous, stupid things for a living; he’s super nice and a normal person.

Clint Torre: a young man of Colombian-Australian descent who enjoys climbing high places that can sometimes be dangerous for anyone; he is friendly and kind, and always willing to help others.

Duffa or Duffer Show: The host of a challenge show, he is a narcissistic and eccentric man who cares only about himself and boosting his ratings. Rumor has it that he used to be a bank robber who turned his life around to become the host of his own show.

Cupid Bean: a love cupid who, every Valentine's Day in the town, always shoots an arrow at someone so they can find their partner, although things always get complicated with the 19 boys and 2 girls because, no matter how many arrows of love he shoots at them, they will always be together for the rest of their lives

Important secondary adults:

Blunder Nocarr: He's an adult who doesn't wait for cars to pass; he always wants to spend time on his work. He's very responsible and quiet, and he likes coffee.

Muttohead Noilov: a bitter, quiet adult who is actually a kind person, always a hard worker who devotes her time to her job (she used to have feelings for Bonehead Carr, but he told her he didn’t see her as anything more than a coworker, since his heart will always belong to Numskull Starship and Calamity Bottoms; this affected her emotionally, but fortunately Knucklehead Belmor helped her through it, which is why she ultimately developed mixed feelings toward Knucklehead Belmor). She is kind and a good friend.

Mr. and Mrs. Gate: a happily married couple who always travel by train; they're super friendly, and even though Mrs. Gate always gets stuck in the turnstile, her husband helps her out.

Robert Robe: a grown-up thief who always carries a crowbar to rob banks or break into houses, although he's a likable thief who's very clumsy—ironically, he ends up helping others instead of stealing from them.

Coach: He is an older coach who helps the characters with boxing (especially the 21 main characters, although they never finish their boxing matches because the 19 boys and 2 girls are too romantically flustered around each other, so he gets fed up and ends the match). He is serious and determined in his role as a coach.

Eggdym: She's a clumsy pilot who has a strange admiration for Stupe McFly—she even dresses like him, although half of her pilot's cap is torn—and she's always with him best friend, Divvy.

Divvy: He's a clumsy electrician who feels a strange admiration for Dimwit Burns—he even dresses like him, although half of his bun is a mess—and who's always with his best friend, Eggdym.

Nincompoop Ivers: a young adult who dreams of becoming a professional artist; she likes to experiment with colors in her paintings, even if she’s a bit clumsy; she enjoys helping others, is kind and cheerful, and makes a great friend—especially to her classmates (and love interest) Simpleton Ellis and Shonky Driscoll

Simpleton Ellis: a young adult who dreams of becoming a teacher; he loves reading and writing books; he is an intelligent and friendly person who helps others, and he has mixed feelings toward his classmate Nincompoop Ivers

Shonky Driscoll: a young adult who dreams of starting his own business, but has a bad habit of gambling on Russian roulette. He is narcissistic yet friendly and cares about others; he also has mixed feelings toward his classmate Nincompoop Ivers, and is always in friendly competition with Simpleton for her attention.

And the other supporting characters:

Señor Redcape: a young man of Spanish-Australian descent and a bullfighting enthusiast, he's a womanizer who goes after any pretty girl he's interested in, although his attempts always fail (especially with Numskull Starship and Calamity Bottoms)

Munchies Candy: An adult who loves candy and sweets (especially on Halloween), but doesn't care much about others when it comes to candy; he's a bit stingy and eccentric (Dippy Watery really hates him)

Crash Conduce: a guy of Argentine-Australian descent who loves riding his bike and skateboard, although he always wears a helmet to avoid silly accidents and getting in trouble with the police (poor Knucklehead Belmor always gets him in trouble for this); he's super friendly and likable.

Arnold Head: a young adult who is always waiting for the train to go to his friend's house; he is friendly and nervous, and always has to be careful not to stand in the middle of the train platform.

Valia Entes and Tim Lenz: a young couple who, despite their differences, love each other very much. Valia Entes is a girl of Venezuelan-Australian descent who is super energetic and optimistic, while Tim Lenz is a shy and laid-back guy. They’re polar opposites who love each other very much.

Twerp Santos: a young adult and Stupa Santos’s older sister, she’s super laid-back and always finds herself in unexpected adventures; she’s fearless and a bit absent-minded, but she’s a good older sister to Stupa, always there to help her no matter what chaos might ensue.

Phyllis Sawyer: Dumbbell’s grumpy grandmother and a town resident; in her youth, she was the first woman to win a gold medal in the world’s most dangerous obstacle course at the ancient Olympics; now, she’s a grandmother who complains about today’s youth, but despite that, she’s a kind grandmother who thanks people who help her with candy (Zany Ueno is the one who always helps her), always teaches her grandson Dumbbell valuable lessons, and is happily married to James Sawyer.

James Sawyer: Dumbbell's grandfather, a sailor. He joined the Navy in his youth at the start of the Cold War, and it was during those years that he met his wife, Phyllis. Aside from being a grumpy old man who talks about his days in the Navy, he always helps his grandson, Dumbbell Sawyer, and his friends. He is happily married to his wife, Phyllis Sawyer.

Bodoh Techer: A kind and friendly teacher of the athletic teens who helps others, especially the students at the school in Dumbville, Australia (he was the teacher of the 21 main characters during their teenage years)

Barb Gunos: He's a chubby coach who helps the kids and others with their exercises; he's a little absent-minded and clumsy, but he's a good person.

Boothy Caser: a ticket taker; she’s laid-back and calm and helps others (she has mixed feelings toward Phoney Tef)

Dr. Russel: A clumsy doctor who helps others at the hospital in Dumbville, Australia.

Junior: A little boy who’s always with his mom; he likes to play with sandcastles, even though Loopy Durnam or Zany Ueno always destroy them.

Reite Yate: He’s a grumpy and bitter beach lifeguard, but despite that, he’s someone who cares about others

Phoney Tef: He really likes screens (especially his cell phone) and train rides; he’s friendly and has mixed feelings toward Boothy Caser

Knucklehead Belmor: Boffo Loco’s divorced, bitter, and unreliable father. When Boffo Loco was a baby, he and his wife (who is of Jamaican descent) got divorced; he was granted custody of his son. Despite that, he’s a good father who always helps his son

Staptery Runny: An elegant man of British-Australian descent; he’s kind and friendly and helps others, though he never seems to notice the doors at the train stations in Dumbville.

Most of the major supporting characters in this AU (from Loopy to Dingy) are teenagers between the ages of 15 and 16.

They and the other characters help the 21 main characters deal with their problems (especially emotionally), although the main characters also help them avoid dying in a stupid way

Loopy Durnam: an optimistic and cheerful teenager who loves sports. Ever since he was a child, his parents always left him home alone, so television was his only company—which is why he grew to love sports. He’s an optimistic leader who helps others, especially his friends. He was bullied as a child because he wore glasses, but he stopped wearing them when he hit adolescence. His best friend is Ruckus, and his girlfriend is Zany.

Zany Ueno: A teenager of Japanese descent - Australian; she is cheerful and reserved, with a condition that prevents her from feeling fear (though she does have emotions). She is extremely competitive and always aims to win gold in sports, but despite that, she is the most serious member of the group, and her biggest dream since childhood has been to become a doctor. She lives with her father and will always help her friends when they’re in trouble. Her best friend is Ruckus, and her boyfriend is Loopy

Ruckus Morris: A hot-tempered teenager who gets into fights easily with anyone (especially penguins), but he’s a good friend who protects his friends. His best friends are Loopy and Zany (he has mixed feelings toward Dingy McPherson, though he won’t admit it).

Boffo Loco Belmor: a laid-back and friendly teenager of Jamaican-Australian descent; he’s the hippie of the group. He believes in spirits and the search for one’s own path; he enjoys spending time with and helping his friends. He lives with his father, Knucklehead Belmor (his father is divorced), and his girlfriend is Stupa

Madcap Adams: a shy and nervous teenager in the group who cares about his friends; he likes orcas and hopes to become a pilot someday; despite that, he’s a good friend who helps others; his best friend is Dumbbell Sawyer

Dumbbell Sawyer: the strongest teenager in the group who likes to eat meat and is pretty laid-back. He sometimes lives with his grandparents—the grumpy Phyllis and the sailor James. He’s super friendly and strives to be the strongest, but despite that, he’s a good guy who helps his friends. His best friend is Madcap Adams

Stupa Santos: a cheerful and optimistic teenager who loves dancing and music; of Brazilian-Australian descent, she lives with her parents and her older sister, Twerp Santos. Although she’s a bit of a tomboy, she’s a good friend who’ll help anyone; her boyfriend is Boffo Loco Belmor

Dingy McPherson: a refined and kind girl who loves roller skating. Although she lives in poverty and her mom was always sleeping with any man who came into the house (she never knew who her real father was), and although she sometimes ran away from home to make it on her own, she’s a sweet and kind girl who enjoys spending time with her friends; she’s in love with Ruckus

The 19 boys have mixed feelings toward the 2 girls—and vice versa—but it’s more like a way of saying, “Even though we all like the same person, we’re still classmates and friends.” Because I don’t like jealousy or love triangles between the characters; despite their flaws and the chaos, they still love each other very much.

Group 5

Botch Horns: Because he dresses up as a moose during hunting season, he’s kind of the hippie of the group—he’s laid-back and friendly, and he likes to take care of animals (including his female moose, Tulip). his best friend is Doofus, even though Doofus won’t admit it to others (he used to follow an extreme diet of not eating anything animal-related, because he was traumatized after seeing a dead animal on a hunting trip with his father; but after an incident where he fainted in the kitchen—and fortunately his friends, especially Doofus Bee, helped him—he can now eat meat normally).

Doofus Bee: He’s known for bothering a wasp nest for no reason at all. He looks a lot like Hapless, but don’t be fooled—he’s a serious guy who doesn’t like it when people don’t take him seriously. Ironically, though, he’s friends with Hapless and Botch. He tries to fit in with the train trio (though they’ve accepted both him and Botch Horns). He’s someone who cares deeply about his friends.

Stumble McCall: Standing at the edge of a train station platform while listening to music through his long red headphones, he’s a very carefree person who prefers to avoid many responsibilities; for him, music makes any day better. Despite that, he cares about his peers, especially his high school friends Bonehead and Putz.

Bonehead Carr: As he walks along the safety rail on a level path, he is the leader of his group. He is very responsible and hardworking, though he’s bitter most of the time. However, he’s not a bad person—he’s kind and cares about others, especially his high school friends Stumble and Putz (he’s coping with the grief of his grandmother’s death, the only person who taught him patience; he knows karate).

Putz Flynn: After running along the train tracks and platforms while trying to retrieve his red balloon, he suffers from back pain due to the train accident. He’s kind and laid-back, loves movies (especially deep, experimental ones) and balloons, and enjoys spending time with his classmates and friends; he’s the spitting image of “in fact☝️🤓 .”

Group 4

Mishap Bynthe: Because he has a rattlesnake as a pet (the snake is named Upon), he’s someone who knows how to take care of others; he’s determined and a good leader of his group, and he’s somewhat patient with Dunce (in his youth, he was an actor, but he gave up that career to live his own life).

Dunce Richy: Because he sold his kidneys online, he’s a narcissist who thinks he’s great (he’s adopted and had a rough adolescence), but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about his friends.

Calamity Bottoms: After drinking a tube of permanent glue, she managed to survive thanks to a stomach pump; she’s someone you don’t want to mess with—she’s tough and a bit hot-tempered (but she’s not a tomboy), but with her friends she’s very kind and loves cute animals; she suffers from pica syndrome (in her teens, she had a boyfriend who treated her badly; when she had a pica episode, instead of helping her, he treated her like a monster, which led her to break up with him).

Ninny Day: Out of curiosity, he pressed a red button and was deeply traumatized by seeing people die because of it—and you can tell just by looking at his face. He’s a very friendly guy who likes to play pranks, cares about others, and really loves the color red.

Group 3

Clod Keller: From being bored with his door-to-door sales job to becoming a serial killer (and someone invited him in), he’s a mysterious figure about whom little is known—and the only one who wasn’t injured.

Doomed Bang: After scratching a drug dealer’s new car, he now wears a trash bag over his head because he sustained so many injuries from the dealers’ beating (since he was young, he’s been drinking and even using drugs). He tries to come across as brave and tough (even though he has a heart of gold), but despite that, he’s a good leader of his group.

Numskull Starship: For taking off her helmet in outer space, which nearly left her blind (she now suffers from a fear of suffocation and claustrophobia). She is shy and has low self-esteem, but she cares deeply about her teammates and friends (during her teenage years, the boys she dated were only interested in her money because she came from the upper class, which is why she has low self-esteem).

Bungle Hyde: Because he used a clothes dryer as a hiding place, he now has trouble moving around properly due to the incident. He’s someone who likes order and cleanliness (he has OCD), but he’s sociable and kind and loves hidingspots.

Group 2

Dummkopf Forks: Because he took the toast out with a fork—and now has slightly burned fingers—he’s the leader of his group. He’s a kind person who does everything he can to be a good friend, and he’s just a normal person.

Dimwit Burns: For wiring his own house’s electrical system, he’s a bit shy. He was born colorblind, and as a teenager, it was discovered that he’s a pyromaniac (he grew up in an abusive home with his own parents, but they were arrested, and he lived with his aunt and uncle until he came of age). Despite that, he’s a very good person who cares about his friends, especially his best friend, Stupe.

Stupe McFly: Because he taught himself to fly—and now can’t move his neck very much—he’s very sociable and optimistic. He can’t stand spelling mistakes, and his best friend is Dimwit (his father Dummo died when he was a teenager, and although his mother tried to help him, he still remembers it with sadness).

Lax Cook: After eating a cake that had been out of the fridge for two weeks, he’s the serious and calm one of the group. He was born unable to smell anything and is overweight (he had a childhood in which his father abandoned him and his mother neglected him).
