were going to get women into f1 by making a special 11th team just for women and the car will be pink and glittery and will have flowers on it and it will be easier to drive and the pedals will be easier to press because women are weak and soft and their stupid weak bodies are the biggest obstacle to them making it in motorsports not lack of sponsors or systemic oppression :) and we are going to ahve a special side podium for women so that the women podium every time so that they feel good about themselves because they are emotionally frail and otherwise they will cry and if they are compared to the men they will never ever win at all especially not in an equal competition never ever ever evere ever EVER so it is not even worth it to compare because it is like comparing two completely different things. finally there will be a place in formula 1 for women a special little nice place just for them that we can ignore because its for WOMEN not for us!! and they will leave the rest of us alone

So here's a bit of extra context that you didn't ask for: these dance challenges are never spontaneous, they are coordinated between the different companies, sometimes at the invitation of the idol and sometimes not.

Big companies will typically only do dance challenges with other big company artists, and they will rarely accept dance challenges with "nugu" groups. XLOV members have also said in the past that they were hesitant to approach other boy groups for dance challenges due to the unfortunate prejudice many kpop stans have against XLOV's genderless concept and presentation. We've seen that change a bit with their most recent cb, which is heartening!

Something I've always appreciated about ATEEZ/KQ is that they make time for dance challenges with idols from smaller, lesser-known, or rookie groups. It's something seniors in the industry did not do for them when they were starting out, and they never forget their roots.

I wrote up a few posts about that during their recent cb.

It's clear when a dance challenge is set up by the companies for PR reasons (Yunho and Jay or San and Kim Chaewon, who probably had like zero notice or time to practice) or when a senior idol initiates things (J-Hope and San).

But ATEEZ always does a TON of dance challenges with idols I've never heard of, and I always think it's such a nice gesture from a group who have become respected seniors in the industry.

All this is to say that I am really pleased that KQ picked up the phone for this xikers dance challenge and I hope it means we get to see more interactions in the future!!
