I am GENUINELY in the worst reading streak of my entire life. Every single book I have read this month has been absolutely ass omfg and I don’t mean “I didn’t personally like this book” I mean like, I’d consider them poorly written.

These two have been married all of maybe 12 hours, but goddamnit Kiyoka wants the pet name he was promised! Miyo was right, this man is needy.

Miyo is more than a little hesitant when it comes to literally any sort of affection between her and Kiyoka. She's our sweet little lovable ball of anxiety, that is on the verge of self combusting at this moment. But she’s being very brave in the first excerpt!

Kiyoka, on the other hand, has had a very dramatic 24hrs. Hell, he was unsure whether or not he was going to make it to his own damn wedding. This moment between the two of them feels more than earned, and though it’s a fade-to-black scene, it still feels satisfying as a reader.
