The throne room had finally emptied, the last noble's polished boots echoing away through the great hall. Alistair let out a slow breath, shoulders relaxing as he tugged at the collar of his royal tunic with an expression that suggested he'd rather face a darkspawn horde than another hour of court politics.

"So," he sighed, glancing toward you with a crooked, familiar smile, "good news: nobody challenged my right to the throne today. Bad news? Three different banns somehow managed to argue over sheep for nearly an hour."

He shook his head, an amused laugh escaping him.

"I keep waiting for someone to admit they're all having me on. 'Congratulations, Your Majesty, you've passed the test. Real kings don't actually have to settle disputes over whose ram looked at whose ewe the wrong way.'"

It's my 12 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳

// On 17th October 2024, Heaven gained another angel. My Father took his last few breaths before cancer finally took him away from me.

It’s been hard without having him by my side. I miss having a best friend, a confidant… my everything.

I was able to share my final goodbye to him on his funeral on 5th November 2024. I miss him greatly. I still grieve. But I know he would want me to carry on in life. Though right now life is anything but great.

// It’s been a while since I posted here but just so you all know my Fathers tumour has returned. At the moment he is back on chemo in hopes to help as well as looking into possible medical trials to better understand and possibly find a more up to date aid for Glioblastoma’s

// So… not good news from the hospital today. They think my dad’s tumour has come back and they don’t want to operate on him due to how weak he is as well as them believing he has had another TI/Stroke.

I may be planning a funeral for Christmas this year… 😢
