i considered it but i had no idea what to do with it tbh. what even is danish culture? drinking faxe kondi booster and alcohol???? danes wear mostly black or neutral colours so itd be easy to dress her i guess??

I wouldn't have known how to go about it, I'd be stuck in the same way as you, but after seeing what people make I have the opposite issue of all the great and fun things already being done so well ! just searching "danish miku" here or on twitter gets you lots of rly fun results, highly recommended !!

I came across someone who did a Miku version of a painting though and I was like oh hell yeah I could spend an evening looking at one of my fav paintings so instead of the fun sillies this game is supposed to be I instead have Miku as Foråret by Harald-Slott Møller ?? 👍???

YES I'M SUPER MEGA EXCITED ! GRINNING SO BIG !!!!! I've been lurking so much since the end of april, finding so many cool characters to draw and now that it's getting close I'm only finding more and more and filling myself with so much excitement !!!

I'm still Zelda pilled and joking around about it evolved into my first ever experience with real oc brainrot I think... except I'm finding I don't much enjoy drawing smth like references or figuring out character designs dfshkuidsfh I just want to keep drawing them until they suddenly make sense.....

yeah of course, I'd love to !! :D it's not something I was ever super clear on but I wanted to play around with a couple things a lot more than I ever get around to, so I wanna try to explain that too so it's not just "oh yeah it went smth like this":

(shoutout to Jean for making this btw, I thought maybe I had smth fun in my sketchbook but remembered this even better alternative 😌)

but yeah no it was mainly just bc I kept getting blown up by land mines while playing the game! At the time it felt like a rly surprising thing to drop into this setting so it's something I thought about a lot and it led to some fun ponderings about the strength of them vs how much healing fairies can do. I thought it was fun to just take their abilities for what they are, that they can bring you back to life when you die and play around with that. but even though they can bring you back to life it's not like they can heal you fully so they're definitely limited in some way. idk how to word it but the main scenario I got to was something like. Link stepping on a mine and blowing up his leg and the one that still looks a bit scarred isn't the one that took the brunt of it but rather a leftover from the fairies working fulltime trying to regenerate almost a whole leg with the other one. Like probably superficial healing to prevent scars would be easy enough if that was all that was going on, but in some cases, like this, they gotta prioritise kinda ?? I don't remember them being one-hit kills so I'm deciding it's ok to consider the explosion relatively small fdhkusfdh

the revival/regen stuff also led into a lot of fun post-game thoughts! I don't mind a happy ending where everyone is brought back to life but I thought it'd be boring to just leave it like that with no further thought and problems and I thought the characters living in that world would feel that too. I'm too embarrassed to look at it right not but somewhere I wrote a whole comic draft of Link having conversations with his uncle about him being suddenly regenerated and how that must feel. something about the relief of being alive and whole contrasting the violence of seeing yourself fall apart like that and how unreal it sometimes feels. comparing the feeling of only losing part of yourself to losing your entire self like his uncle did and a vague fear that potentially none of it is lasting. I'm sure there was smth in there about different types of magic too and responsibilities and hope and phantom-not-pain, but yeah I'm. I'll look back on that on a braver day sdfhiksdfu

so yeah, they're supposed to be super faded mostly-magically-healed burn scars, but there's little accuracy or consistency in them... they're all I have in mind bc that's fully how much it felt like those mines haunted me in my playthrough, but when I get around to replaying the game or finishing OoA more stuff might pop up :3c I'm not super great at making up my own stuff, but I love taking stuff from playthroughs and it's super fun to wonder about all these little game mechanics as just a full part of the setting too !

I do have a small Zelda thought, though bc I never get around to drawing any of this, but! post-alttp au shenanigans times Zelda gets lots of small scars and callouses from outside work she's not used to be doing and she loves them all so much 🥰 that's the real physical proof of her hard work and independence right there...
