This is not my research! I found this online as an image but unfortunately I do not remember where. I saved it as an image, but now I want to share it as text so I re-typed it in Excel and pasted it here as text. If you are the mastermind behind this super-helpful list, please contact me or leave a comment so that I can credit you. Thank you so much for putting it together!!
How to get maximum XP for your dragons using FreeXP280 (also known as “The 299”)
#How to get maximum XP for your dragons using FreeXP280 (also known as “The 299”)
There is a very easy way to get your dragons leveled up quickly! Here’s a how-to guide on flying the 299 with any level backer and get maximum XP. I’m going to be **really** thorough and write this as though you are brand new to the game so there is no confusion. This is long, but once you’ve read the guide and flown the base a few times, it takes about five minutes or less of game play to get you and one teammate three XP runs each.
**That being said, here is the super-condensed version of this same guide for those of you that are already pretty familiar with the game:** Find a friend that will run this base with you. Use the L and R code to set up in Team Chat. Attack FreeXP280 with the dragon that needs XP and hit invite. The teammate who is backing you up will have a Death-Gaze-equipped dragon in their roster and join your attack. The first person flying (AKA the original attacker or just the OA for short) is going to get max XP for their dragon. When the attack begins, the OA needs to DO NOTHING. Hover for as long as you can in order to build rage and don’t cast any spells. Then hit “Swap.” The backer will attack with a Death-Gazing dragon and knock down at least one defensive tower (but leave the farm on your left in order to fly more slowly). Either swap (with practice you should be able to destroy the entire first long island, the monuments, and the boats in the water after the big cliff) or let yourself die. The screen goes back to the OA, who quits the attack. Max XP goes to the OA! Now be nice and back your teammate. Oh, and you should still read the “Helpful Hints” section of this Wiki. Or, don’t be lazy and just read the whole thing. Who knows? You might learn something new, ya old pro!
##Some basic info:
Depending on your level, there is a cap on the maximum amount of XP you can get for flying any given base. The easiest way to determine what this number is for you is by going to your matchmaking screen. There is a little star icon by every base with the letters XP inside the star. The number next to this icon is the max XP you can earn for successfully attacking this base at your level, whether the base is completely doable or completely impossible. Easier bases give you less than your maximum XP. If you scroll down to the very bottom of the matchmaking screen, look at the amount of XP it shows next to the most challenging base. That number is your current XP cap. At level 20, your XP cap is 863, even if you were to burn a level 500 base to the ground with only one dragon. At level 85, your XP cap is 8,874, even if you were to burn a level 500 base to the ground with only one dragon.
Usually, this amount of XP is what you’d earn for defeating the entire base with one dragon. If you use two dragons to defeat the base, each dragon would get half of that amount. If you have to use three dragons, each dragon would get one third the amount of XP that the base provides.
However, some bases are high-level enough that you can get maximum XP for defeating 70%, 50%, or even just 5% of that base. There are a lot of bases that are designed to be easy(ish), despite their high level. These are known as XP farms. Many of them are on teams such as XPfarmsLooseX1 or XPfarmsXP. Some are not on teams at all. Bases with this designation are usually not maintained, are never defended, and will never attack you back. That’s what we’re focusing on here.
One other thing to remember is this: In any attack, the player who flies first (also known as the Original Attacker or the OA) will get the full amount of XP that they can earn for that base if enough of the base is completely burned. Any additional players that join (Backers) will get ONLY 70% of the experience that they would have earned on that base if they had been the OA. 70% of your XP cap is great for leveling up your dragons throughout the day, but not when they still has daily multipliers on them!! When you still have daily multipliers on your dragons, don’t waste them by using them to join someone else’s attack. Make sure YOU are the OA when flying a base with a dragon that still has daily multipliers! Find a friend and do your XP runs using this guide before attacking bases that pay out less than your XP cap. Then join your teammates attacks for extra XP and loot.
Alright. Now that we’ve got the basics laid out, let’s move on to the actual topic of this page: how to get max XP from the base called FreeXP280, which is a level 299 base.
##What you need:
First, you need to bookmark this base. Because FreeXP280 is not on a team, you can’t look it up in the team meeting hall. You can bookmark him either one of two ways.
· The first would be to send an in-game mail. Type FreeXP280 as the recipient. Put a dot (.) in the subject line and another dot (.) in the message box. Send the message. Once it has sent, go to your sent mail tab. Tap on the message that you just sent. In the bottom right corner is an icon depicting two crossed swords. Tap on that, which will take you to the map view. On the right hand side of the screen is a button that says “Add To Bookmarks.” Go ahead and add it. Every once in a while, usually right after a major update to the game, the attack icon will not be on your sent messages. This is super irritating, but it’s PG, so what are you gonna do? Sometimes force-closing and restarting the game will fix the problem. Sometimes you just have to wait a few hours.
· The second way to bookmark this guy (or any base really) is by following somebody into combat that already has the base bookmarked. After the attack is over, you’ll get the “Attack Successful!” or the “Dragon Defeated!” screen, where you see your loot and flames and medals and all of that. Instead of tapping the green “Return Home” button at the bottom, tap the arrow icon in the top left corner of the screen. A little popup menu will… well… pop up. Tap the “Bookmark” button. If for some reason this little arrow icon doesn’t show up in the top left corner of your screen after an attack, see possible reasons/fixes in the first bookmarking option above.
· After you’ve bookmarked him, close out of the attack until you’ve got the two other things you need in order to succeed at this.
Second, you need a dragon in your roster with the “Death Gaze” spell. (There are a few other spells that will burn any tower to ashes with one hit, but you won’t get those guys until much later.)
· The first Death-Gaze-equipped dragon you will get is Ember, so you can start doing this as soon as you hatch that bad boy. I choose to keep my Ember at level ONE and never feed or level him. You actually don’t need him for breeding. At level one, his post-attack heal time is just a few seconds, so I can back my fellow teammates up on this base as many times as they need without needing to use heal potions between attacks. Super handy. If you’ve already leveled him up, you’ll just need to wait between attacks or use potions. No big thing. You ARE getting max XP in return after all. Other dragons with Death Gaze include Bolt, Habrok, and Enki. The Death Gaze spell is exclusive to the Hunter class of dragons.
· On a separate but related note, since Ember (if you do want to level him up), Bolt, Habrok, Enki, etc. all have Death Gaze, you don’t need a teammate to get them their max XP. Just run this base the way I’ve laid out below and then fly away.
Third, you need a friend! Ask in chat if anybody wants to swap a few XP runs with you. As long as they have the 299 base bookmarked and a dragon with Death Gaze in their roster, they can help. Even if you’re a level 100 and they’re a level 10. It works.
##How it’s done:
Ask in chat whether anybody is available to swap XP runs on the 299. When you’ve found yourself a backer, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you use the L and R code described below in the “Helpful Tips” section of this Wiki!!! Now go to your bookmarks and attack FreeXP280 (AKA “The 299”) with the dragon that you want to get MAXIMUM EXPERIENCE POINTS for. (Remember, your XP maximum will increase as you grow your base.) Maybe it’s a freshly hatched baby, maybe it’s a weak dragon, or maybe you just want to make very sure that you get the most out of your daily multipliers by using them on a base that definitely hits your XP cap.
So choose your dragon (focus first on the dragons in your roster that still have their daily multipliers) and hit “Invite Teammates.” The agreed-upon backer will be watching (like a hawk! …right?) for your invite banner and join the attack. When the attack begins, you, the OA, need to DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Just let your dragon slowly hover forward. You’ll see in the lower left corner that your backer has joined your attack. (Scroll down to the “Helpful Tips” section of this Wiki to see what to do if your backer doesn’t show up.) **Don’t cast any spells** or else your backer won’t have any rage left to help you with. Rage builds slowly over time and carries over to the next round, which is why you want to hover for as long as you can. The Death Gaze spell costs one rage bar for each cast. Right before you get hit by the cannon, tap the swap button (or you can just let yourself get hit by the cannon and die, but your recovery time will be longer).
Alright, backer! It’s time to work your magic! All you need to do is get one defense tower down. Leave the farm on the left so that you fly slower. Death Gaze the first cannon that you see before you get too close. In my humble opinion, you should definitely keep Death Gazing towers and monuments in order to get as many goodie drops as possible. God knows I always do. I need all the free goodies I can get! With practice, you’ll be able to destroy all the towers on the first long island, three monuments, a statue, a segment of wall, and five boats. (The statue on the left when you first start, the wall segment on the right toward the end, and the boats in the water after you fly over the big wall on the right are the only things that you WON’T need to use Death Gaze on for now.) *Side note: Once you get Enki, you can have fun using the “Cloak” spell to get even farther! Also, Enki can destroy monuments and such using rapid fire instead of Death Gaze.* When you have Death-Gazed your way as far as you want to go (or died), the game will go back to the OA.
Okay OA! Now you will see the “Select Dragon” screen. DON’T PICK A SECOND DRAGON or else you’ll end up splitting your XP between two dragons, which kinda defeats the whole point of doing XP runs this way… so yeah. Instead, quit the battle by tapping the red **X** in the upper-right corner. It will say “Dragon Defeated” and then will add the maximum amount of XP you can earn for your level to your growing dragon. I’m not sure exactly at what level you’ll HAVE to destroy more than one tower in order to hit your XP cap, but I can tell you for a fact that at level 85, ONE tower down (which is 5% of the base) still gives me my XP maximum.
Remember, this is easier done than read. You’ll be a pro after running this base just a few times. Still, you should probably try running it yourself with a Death-Gazer before you commit to helping out your teammies.
##Helpful tips:
· **Prearrange your XP attacks in Team Chat** Arrange with your backer in Team Chat how many attacks you will do together BEFORE you fly this base. A great rule is to do this in groups of three, since each dragon starts the day with three daily multipliers on it: a 5X, a 4X, and a 3X. Once that dragon is taken care of, swap roles with your teammate and back them on three XP runs. Rinse and repeat as desired. J
· **Use the L/R code to coordinate your attacks.** After you’ve agreed to a number of runs, *the player who will be backing* with a Death Gaze dragon (flying second in the attack) should type “R1” to indicate that they are (R)eady to back you up on your 1st run together. The person who is going to fly first to get their max XP should respond with “L1” to indicate that they are (L)oading up the base for y’all’s 1st attack together. Backer, watch for that “L”! Once your teammate has typed “L” in Team Chat, you need to watch like a hawk for that invite banner. You’ve now committed to helping this XP buddy of yours so don’t go running off to defend or open treasure chests or check your email. Your teammate is depending on you!! If you are the OA, don’t go flying off until you see that your backer has typed “R” for Ready AND you have responded with “L” for Loading. If your backer has run into technical difficulties and you’ve flown off already, you’re going to be facing a 48 Cannon Tower with nothing but your wits, a weak dragon, and your pretty face! Once you’ve typed “L,” go ahead and attack the base. After the first attack is done, the backer should type R2 to indicate that he/she is (R)eady to back you up on your 2nd run together. The OA should respond with L2. Then R3 and L3, etc. If you and your XP run buddy decided to swap three runs each, it’s now time for the player who was running backup with Death Gaze to start an attack, so they’ll be waiting for the other person to type R1 and should then respond with L1. If multiple partners are doing this at the same time, it helps to type your XP buddy’s name after the R# or L#. So if Welsh were backing me on XP runs while Acid and Mage are swapping XP runs as well, Welsh might type “R1 Charley” and I’d respond with “L1 Welsh” before flying off. Meanwhile, Acid and Mage might be typing “R3 Acid” and “L3 Mage.” This is all just to ensure that you have the backup you need.
· **If your backer doesn’t show** after you’ve typed your Rs and Ls and you find yourself facing that level 48 Cannon Tower all by your lonesome, PANIC!! No, I’m kidding. No need to panic. Keep hovering as long as you’re able. They might just have a slow connection so it could take a few seconds for them to join. If you’re about to get hit and they still haven’t shown up, double tap the home button on your device, swipe to close out of War Dragons, and reload the game. Your dragon will need to do the minimum amount of healing, but your daily multiplier will still be there! Then call for a Mulligan! Your backer might have run into technical difficulties or closed the attack banner by mistake. It happens.
· **Side note about leveling dragons with the Death Gaze spell:** It is not necessary to get a friend to back you up on the 299 for XP attacks to level up a dragon that has Death Gaze (such as Bolt, Habrok, and Enki), as those dragons can use this spell to run this base themselves. Just start an attack on FreeXP280, Death Gaze some towers into ash, and hit “Swap.” Then when the game goes back to the “Select Dragon” screen, close out of the attack with the red **X** in the upper right corner. Voila!
· **Rewards for running this base** are limited. It rarely (if ever) has lumber or food. The first time you run the base for the day, you’ll probably get the maximum number of medals for your level. After that, not so much in the medal department. It’s okay. The XP payout makes it totally worth it. Also, you won’t get the “Ally Bonus” when doing attacks this way because you’re not actually defeating the base. You’re essentially knocking over a few towers and flying away with your max XP. Even if you get every building on the first long island, you’ll only be at 18%. The Ally Bonus requires 70% base destruction to apply.
· **A few final things:** I recommend equipping a rage rune on the dragon that you use for backing your teammates so you’ll have more rage and be able to cast more Death Gazes. Also, this gets even easier after you’ve researched “Starting Rage” for the same reason because you'll have… more… starting… rage. Lastly, keep a dragon with Death Gaze in your roster at all times. You’ll be able to run this base with anybody who’s willing to swap XP runs at the drop of a hat.
And THAT is how it’s done y'all!
Have fun flying!
<3

Dragon Lords,
It’s time to battle your way across the ocean and liberate fourteen island strongholds. Work alone or with your teammates to take them down! Once the armory appears, you will be able to find Inner Fire spells which can be used for 100% point boosts.
Be careful… in addition to the Blackbloods, you will also need to attack other teams’ islands which will occasionally appear. Get ready to climb the ranks and earn prizes!!
#Overview
**Goal:** Battle your way across the ocean and liberate island chains from Gustav’s despotic rule!

#Win Prizes 3 Ways
* **My Progression:** the more damage you deal to Gustav’s bases, the better the prizes
* **My Rank:** based on damage dealt to bases
* **Team Rank* in division based on **Victory Points** (VP)
#How to Liberate an Island Chain
* Each island chain has a lot of HP!
* Attack it to destroy HP (and earn points).
* To earn more points:
· Use Mega Attacks and Super Attacks to destroy your enemies and earn a massive amount of points!
o Mega Attacks earn you 30x the points of a normal attack.
o Mega Attacks cost 1 Mega Coin, which is bought using 100 energy and 20 Inner Fire boosts.
o Mega Attacks guarantee you 50% of the points even if you lose the battle, and full points after destroying 70% of the base.
o Super Attacks earn 4x the points of a regular attack.
· Use **Inner Fire** spell boosts for +100% HP destruction EACH on basic attacks. Find these in the Armory.
· Attack more challenging island chains
* Attacks use energy, which regenerates over time. Energy regeneration caps out at 16 energy bolts. More energy can be purchased to exceed this limit, but energy will not continue regenerating.
* When an Island Chain runs out of HP, your team:
· Wins VP (faster liberation = more VP)
· Unlocks the next island chain (which is richer in points and defenses!)
* Gustav will eventually re-conquer Island Chains. Liberate them again to earn more points.
#PVP Island
* Island Chains belonging to an enemy team will randomly appear. That team will also see an Island Chain belonging to your team!
* Destroy it to earn many VP
* Destroy the enemy Island Chain before they destroy yours to **steal 8%** of their total VP

##Overview
**GOAL: Steal flags from enemy teams!***

Attack Enemy Teams to Earn POINTS! *Tip: Earn more points with Inner Fire Boosts and Super Attacks!

Earn at least 1000 more points against an enemy team than they earn against you to win the round and enemy flags!
If you WIN you steal enemy flags! If you LOSE, they steal your flags!
· WINNING: Your team scores at least 1000 points more than enemy team (Green)
· DRAW: Neither team is winning by 1000 points (White)
· LOSING: Enemy team scores at least 1000 points more than your team (RED)

Event lasts 16 rounds! Each round is a free-for-all lasting 6 hours. Each round you can steal flags from the enemy teams (or have your flags stolen!) **Tip: Coordinate with your team to win! Your officers will help mark enemy teams to target.**

Some flags are worth more than others! Your own flags are worth the most, and flags from teams that have stolen lots of flags are worth more.

At the end of each round, flags stolen from your team will be removed from various bases and flags won by your team will be distributed across your team’s bases.

##Details
The first 24 hours of the event is the Treasure Chest phase. Make sure you’re destroying all the monuments you can! During the Treasure Chest phase of any PvP or Conquest Event, treasure chests could hold Inner Fire Boosts and Energy Packs, which are essential for doing well in this type of event!
Here’s what your battle screen looks like before the battle begins:

##Attack enemy players in your division to win points.
• Attack an enemy’s highest level players and completely destroy their bases to earn more points!
• Use Inner Fire spell boosts (found in the armory) to supercharge your attacks and win and extra 100% points PER INNER FIRE SPELL BOOST USED. **Translation: If you have extra Inner Fire to spare, equip it on three dragons and use all three dragons in your attack to get 300% more points. If you have two teammates join and everybody has Inner Fire equipped, you’ll get 500% more points!!**
•Use Mega Attacks and Super Attacks to destroy your enemies and earn a massive amount of points!
•Mega Attacks earn you 30x the points of a normal attack.
•Mega Attacks cost 1 Mega Coin each, which is bought using 100 Energy and 20 Inner Fires.
•You can purchase missing Energy and Inner Fires in the Mega Attack screen to obtain a Mega Coin.
•Mega Attacks guarantee you 50% of the points even if your lost the battle, and full points after destroying 70% or more of the base.
•Super Attacks earn 4x the points of a normal attack.
##The BATTLE PHASE is divided up into rounds:
• Each round lasts exactly 6 hours. If your start an attack before the six hour mark but finish it after the six hour mark, the attack points count toward the next round. If you start an attack just before the event finishes, but finish it after the final round is officially over, you don’t get any attack points and the only loot you’ll get is what you’d get from any other raid.
• During a round, if your team scores at least 1,000 more points against a team than they score against your team, then your team is eligible to steal a flag from them!
##Victory Points (VP) are determined by the flags owned by a team when the event ends.
• A flag belonging to Team X is worth 1 Victory Point for each flag Team X owns.
• Your own flags are worth an additional 2.5x VP when under your team’s control. Long live The Hodors!
• Victory Points are also updated shortly after each round ends.
##Which flags will our team steal?
• A team can only lose up to half of their flags each round.
•You can see a prediction of which flags you will steal at all times.
-As teams score points, the predicted outcomes will also change.
• The team which beats a given loser by the biggest margin is guaranteed to steal a flag.
-Teams which win by slimmer margins will each receive a flag until all flags which may be stolen have been captured.
-The team with the biggest margin will capture the most valuable flag.
-The winning team will recapture one of their own flags, if possible.
Your team’s officers will target a team for destruction whenever possible. These targeted teams will show up at the top of all team members’ attack lists.
Attacks use energy, which regenerates over time. The regeneration caps out at 16 Energy Bolts. Energy Packs can be used to replenish Energy Bolts and increase the amount of energy you can hold to over 16 Bolts.
Flags your teams own are distributed to and automatically displayed on your members’ bases.
· When the event ends, **all flags will be retained until the Capture the Flag event comes around again!**
· Flags are preferentially distributed to members who score more points.

##Tips/Tricks/Strategies
I’ve scoured the web and have found nothing from other players yet.
A few things to note: They have taken away the time bonus meter and the “Valor” items for this event, which means that you don’t have to spend a lot of compact time in order to do well. Also, they are replacing Silver Chests with Runic Chests, which have more valuable runes in them. They’ve also added a bonus for every 30 chests opened.
Note from me: If you see that one of our flags is in the red, attack them to prevent them from stealing one of our flags! While obtaining a flag by staying in the winning column by a margin of 1000 points is our top priority, the second best thing you can do is prevent another team from taking one of our flags. Keep that flag in the middle! If we finish a round with 999 points less than another team, no flags are lost or gained.
King of the Hill
#Overview
* Goal: Battle to win control of epic Fortresses!
* Every Fortress is guarded by sturdy Walls.
* Attack enemy team members to tear down their Walls and steal their Fortress.
* **Two Phase Event:**
1. TREASURE HUNT - During the first 24 hours you can farm treasure chests by attacking enemy bases and destroying monuments. Chests can contain energy packs, siege weapons, dragon attack and health boosts, etc.
2. BATTLE PHASE - The 25 fortresses that were protected with globe shields will now be removed. Initially, we will battle the “BlackBloods” which is the computer team, and race against other teams to take over any of these fortresses. Each time a fortress is conquered by a team, the globe shield will go up and protect the fortress for the duration of one hour. When this happens the protected fortress won’t be available for any opposing teams to attack it. **Give the walls as much protection as you can using Barricades to keep our fortresses under our team’s protection for as long as possible!** Fortresses generate VP (Victory Points) over time so we want to hold them for as long as possible!
------
#How to Win
* Win prizes 3 ways
1. My Progression: the more Wall HP you destroy, the better the prizes
2. My Rank based on Wall HP destroyed
3. Team Rank in division based on Victory Points (VP)
* Fortress(es) generate Victory Points over time so hold on to them for as long as possible!
------
#How to Conquer a Fortress
* Attacks to destroy Walls use *energy*, which regenerates over time (+1 energy every 15 minutes, 4 energy needed to attack. Will regenerate up to 16 energy. Healing packs can be purchased to increase the amount of energy you are able to hold at one time.)
* When the Wall is destroyed, any team doing more than 70% damage will take over the fortress unless they already own four more valuable fortresses, in which case other teams will gain control. If no team does more than 70% damage, then the four teams who did the most damage will have a chance to take over the fort. A team must have done at least 5% damage to the fortress to have a chance to take control. Destroy more of the Wall HP to have a higher chance of taking it over.
* Teams are limited in how many fortresses their armies can hold at one time. Teams cannot hold more than four fortresses under their control at one time. If the top four damaging teams all currently have four fortresses, they will only take control of a new for if it is stronger than their currently owned fortresses. In this case the weakest fortress in their control will be lost to The Blackbloods (the computer team). If the newly conquered fortress is weaker than all owned fortresses then it will return to the control of The Blackbloods after paying out bounty points.
* **Bounty** – When taking over a fort, each team which helped take it down splits a pot of Victory Points proportional to a fraction of what the previous owner won while holding the fort.
* A newly conquered Fortress is invincible for one hour.
## To destroy more Walls:
1. Defeat higher level players
2. Use **Siege Weapon** items!
* Siege Weapon items are found in the **Armory** and can increase your damage by up to +160% for 70 minutes. Siege Weapons increase the damage you do to the fortress walls. They come in 10%, 50%, and 100% varieties. You can equip them all for a total of 160% damage increase to walls for up to 70 minutes.
## Holding onto a Fortress:
* Hold onto a Fortress longer by building up its Wall with **Barricade** Items, found in the **Armory**. These are earned when you destroy other Fortress’ Walls and can be used to bolster the walls of a fortress we control. The longer we control a given fortress, the more VP the team earns in the event.
-----
#Time Bonus
* When spending energy in this event, every 1 energy spent will result in an additional 1% bonus to progression prize points on the following attacks. This bonus will stack up to 75%, and the bonus will reset if a player does not attack for a 30 minute period.

Conquer the World 🗺 (Overview, rules, tips and tricks)
#Conquest Event Overview
· **GOAL:** Battle teams to take over Yenora, the lost continent!
· Attack enemy team members to capture land.
· All teams start with 21.0k acres.
· Updates to the map of Yenora will be about every 15 minutes, and updates to the Leaderboards will be every five minutes.
#How to Win
• Win prizes three ways:
1. **My Progression:** The more acres you steal, the better the prizes
2. **My Rank:** Individual rank within your league is based on acres stolen
3. **Team Rank:** Team rank within your division based on *Victory Points* (VP)
• Land accrues *Victory Points* for your team over time so hold on to your acres!
#How to Conquer Land
• Attacks to steal land use energy, which regenerate at a rate of 1 energy bolt every 15 minutes. Energy regeneration caps out at 16 bolts.
• Capture more land by attacking teams with more land.
1. Giant kingdoms with over 100k acres pay out 2X more
2. Big kingdoms with over 42k acres pay out more (increases as they grow)
3. Small kingdoms with less than 10k acres pay out less (decreases as they shrink)
4. Tiny territories with less than 1 acre are too small to steal from!
Conquer the World is a two phase event.
##TREASURE HUNT PHASE
The first 24 hours of the event is the treasure hunt phase, when you can get treasure chests from destroying monuments on enemy bases. Be on the lookout for Event-Specific items such as Inner Fire spells and Energy Packs!
##BATTLE PHASE
Each team in your league will have an area on the map, and each team will start out with 21.0k acres of land. The point of this event is to “Conquer the World” by attacking players in other teams on the map and stealing as many acres as you can. When you tap on the team you wish to attack, a list will pop up showing how many acres of land are available for the taking. As with other PVP events, you need energy bolts to attack. Each regular attack costs 4 energy bolts, and your energy meter starts out with the capacity to hold 16 energy bolts, recharging at the rate of 1 bolt every 15 minutes. You can purchase energy packs to increase the number of bolts you have at your disposal. A BASIC attack costs 4 energy bolts, a SUPER attack costs 20 energy bolts and gives a 4X points multiplier, and the MEGA attack costs 1 Mega Coin, which is bought using 100 Energy and 20 Inner Fires, giving you 30X the points of a normal attack.

#Starting Map
Here’s what the map looks like before the battle starts:

-----
##BONUS METER
There is a **Bonus Meter** that will increase with each sequential attack. As it fills up, this bonus will increase the number of acres the player can steal by a certain percentage. This occurs at the rate of 1% per energy spent, up to a maximum of 75%, and will reset if the player does not attack for a period of 30 minutes.
#Inner Fire Bonuses
**Inner Fire Spells stack!!** If you have a dragon equipped with an Inner Fire spell during your attack, your will get 100% more land as a reward! Using two dragons, each with Inner Fire, you’ll net 200% more land from that attack, etc. If you use three dragons with the spell and you have two teammates join your attack and ALL FIVE dragons have the Inner Fire spell boost, you’ll net 500% more land, just from Inner Fire bonuses!
#Teammate Bonuses
Join your teammates’ attacks and let other players join yours! You will get bonus land for each teammate that joins.
#Defensive Bonuses
Equip all of your towers with 30% Attack and Defense Boosrs. If you are attacked, the enemy will steal 30% LESS land! (Thank you @LethalLeaf for this tip!)

##Battle Tips:
* **Suggestion from ADORED, a Creator’s Faction member**
“You’re better off doing regular attacks (one attack at the cost of 4 energy bolts) instead of the super attacks at first. Use all 16 of your initial energy bolts to fill your **Bonus Meter**, then purchase the 100 energy bolts and keep attacking until your **Bonus Meter** is completely full. You can then start using your inner fires and possibly do super attacks at the cost of 20 energy bolts! This will maximize the number of points you can get during one attack session.”
———
* **Suggestion from xBoudica, a Creator’s Faction member**
1. First - find yourself an hour-hour and a half of uninterrupted time.
2. Spend 8 energy packs to get 80 energy (can do the 100 energy as well)
3. If you have Inner Fire to spare, you can intentionally use three dragons, each with Inner Fire equipped to maximize your acres.
4. Rinse and repeat when the energy resets the next day.
Keep in mind that players on the other teams will be hitting you and your team as well to steal yours. Don't make it easy for them, boost your monuments and feed your perches.

Feeding event 🍖
(Some people call this the Training Event)
Also! Nice side note! It looks like the developers are giving EVERYBODY a free 30% food production boost that lasts the duration of the event. Nothing you need to do to equip it or anything. It’s just invisible and there. Nice!
#How To Score Points
Score points by feeding your dragons to level them up, feeding dragons on perches, using XP Potions to train them, and using rubies to transfer XP.
#Points Breakdown
Every 10 food used to train Dragons is worth 1 (one) point.
Every 10 food used to feed dragons on perches is worth 1 (one) point.
Every 7xp transferred or purchased is worth 1 (one) point.
#Hint
Try using a Production Boost for your food! It increases your food production by 200%, and your Storage Hut will protect 200% more of your precious food from enemy attackers! Tap on the Storage Hut on your main island, tap the icon at the bottom of your screen that looks like a shield with food and wood on it, then choose a production boost. If you don’t have any, you can often find them as prizes to claim under the “Season” tab during an event, and you can ALWAYS use rubies to buy them from your forge. (Watch out though, you can’t equip a production boost if your Builders Hut is under construction!)
Happy Building!

Seasons and Sigils (part 1)
#Overview
* What is a “Season” in War Dragons?
* How do I navigate the Seasons tabs?
* What are sigils and how do I use them?
* How do I claim my rewards?
#What is a “Season” in War Dragons?
* A season is a combination of events where you can earn special, supercharged DIVINE DRAGONS!
* As you participate in events, you will be earning that season’s Destiny Sigils in both **Individual** *and* **Team Prizes**, as well as Bronze and Gold chests!
* These seasonal Destiny Sigils can be used to claim prizes in the **Seasons** tab. You can collect the prizes you are going for by tapping on the corresponding **tile** of your choosing. These **tiles** are part of the new user interface that rolled out for Wintertide 2017 and are replacing the *tracks* that we had to follow before.
* Each **tile** will feature a different **Divine Dragon** or **Dragon Rider**, as well as unique **portraits** to use as your avatar that will only be attainable during the current season.
* With the new UI comes an **extra egg token tile**, where you can get bonus goodies apart from what is available on whichever tile or tiles you are working on.
#How do I navigate the Seasons tabs?
To get to the Seasons tabs, tap on the special event island (pictured in the first image below) to the left of your main base. For certain events, the event island does not appear. In that case, there will be an icon below the “Store” icon on the left side of your screen (circled in red in the second picture below.) Tap on that.
-----

#There are four tabs to navigate:
##**Battle**
Where you can join your teammates in fun PvP or conquest events!
##**Prizes and Ranks**
Just what it sounds like, but there are four sections under that.
-----

-----
###**Points Rank**
Global player rankings and the prizes they will win at the end of the current event
###**POINTS ACHIEVEMENTS** (This one is important!)
This button will show up with yellow font if you have a prize to claim. These are the prizes you’ve earned so far in the current event. Make sure you get these as you go along! They’ve got great bonuses, speedups, egg tokens (for breeding), sigils (super important), rubies, and sometimes glyphs you can use to strengthen your dragons. The brown ones are the ones you’ve already claimed, and the blue ones are the ones you’ve yet to claim. You can always press the square button next to an achievement to see what other goodies your prize pack includes. The green bar across the top shows how far you’ve progressed in your personal points achievements. AGAIN, CLAIM THESE AS SOON AS YOU GET THEM!
###**Team Rank**
Shows our overall team rank within our own league in the current event and the prize that every member of the team will receive at the end of the event. Tap the white arrows to go left and right to see what teams in higher or lower leagues will be getting.
###**Teammate Contributions**
Shows the contributions of each individual member of The Hodors. Just a little friendly intra-team competition
##**Season**
This is where you redeem your SIGILS for goodies! The first image you see on the seasons screen shows the Divine Dragons available for the current season. Scrolling across, you can see the different “tiles” you can tap on that each relate to each specific seasonal dragon or dragon rider. At the very beginning of the season, you will see three dragon tiles plus the bonus Egg Token tile. Another Divine Dragon and a Dragon Rider will appear later on in the season. If you get all of the prizes behind each of the three Legendary Divine Dragons (the discount dragon does not count toward this!) pictured on the tiles, you will have the opportunity to pursue the final, biggest and baddest Mythic Divine Dragon of the season.

Bonus Egg Token prize path:

-----
* **You can choose whichever tile(s) you would like, and in any order. You can work on one tile at a time or multiple tiles at a time.** SEE PICTURE BELOW! But you MUST collect the prizes behind each tile in order! e.g. If you’ve tapped on the tile to get the very first dragon, you must collect ALL items along the way, from left to right and top to bottom. These could be treasure chests, elemental shards, egg tokens, egg fragments, food or lumber production boosts, new portraits to use as your avatar, etc. Each of the “Major Prizes” are outlined in a special highlighted border. “Major Prizes” are the portraits (which are now FREE!), the actual Seasonal Dragon egg, and each one of the evolution stones. Go ahead and collect all of the “minor prizes” in between these major items even if you think you can’t use them yet. They will go into your inventory and you can use them when you need them. Once you get the dragon you’re after, we recommend continuing along that prize path in order to get *at least* one or two (or if you’re doing really well on sigils, ALL) of the evolution (evo) stones. After upgrading your new Divine Dragon a certain number of levels, you must use evo stones to get them to the next tier.
Below is pictured an example “Prize Path” — what you will see when you select a tile in the new UI:

##**Armory**
Open chests to get the treasure inside! You can get chests by destroying monuments on enemy bases, they can be won from doing well in an event (team or individual prize) or you can purchase them with rubies. They contain many of the same extras that you can get by collecting items on the seasons tab, but also contain health potions, Dragon attack and HP boosts, Tower attack and HP boosts, base defense tools, etc., as well as items that will help you score more points in the current event if the event underway is either a PvP or conquest event (such as energy packs, Inner Fire, barricades and siege weapons, etc.)
-----

-----
#What are sigils and how do I use them?
**Destiny Sigils** (or just sigils for short) are special tokens that you can use to redeem prizes that correspond to the dragon or rider pictured on the tile of your choosing in the seasons tab. This tab is only visible during a weekly event by tapping on the event island to the left of your main island or by tapping on the icon below the Store Icon if there is no event island. See the description of the “Season” tab above under the “How do I navigate the seasons tab?” heading for more information. You can get sigils in treasure chests or as part of the individual or team prize pack at the end of an event. Use these to follow whichever prize tile you’d like in order to get special Divine Dragons and exclusive Seasonal prizes!
**IMPORTANT NOTE: The sigils you collect are only good for the current season, so, for example, any sigils you collected during the fall 2017 season will expire on the last day of the fall season and will no longer exist anywhere in you inventory when the Wintertide season begins**
#How do I claim my rewards?
If there is a red exclamation point by the Store icon or the small treasure chest icon (screenshot below), you have a reward waiting to be claimed! Congratulations! Make sure to click on this anytime you see the red exclamation point. It could be a small bonus from a team member who purchased a value pack in the store, or it could be your end-of-event reward! Clean up!!
