The merman had just finished his tutorial session at the library and began making his way back to his dorm. With no source of light, he held on to the wall so he wouldn’t trip on anything. Halfway to his destination he began to hear footsteps, making him tense, then moments later he began to see a faint light and heard some grumbling.
“I think I’m going to die.” He whispered to himself
There were footsteps. And while Icarus wasn’t planning on getting his McGonagall on, he felt his muscles poise into a readied stance while a part of him hoped that Westbridge wasn’t some Hogwarts contemporary where the Headmaster definitely put the dumb in Dumbledore for hiding all the dangerous creatures in the same place where he kept his damn kids -- and he couldn’t even keep them all in check talk about serious mismanagement issues. Though such thoughts faded with each step that came nearer and the warlock only slowly felt himself tense up even more – until it came. He. Someone.
“Jesus—fucking—” Icarus quickly cleared his throat as his body reveled in the relief of recognition. Shit. It was a damn student. “Nope—don’t repeat after me…bad words are bad,” he stammered on as he looked around and then back to him with a heave of his chest for a sigh. “Shi--son --what are you doing in this darkness? Are you a vampire?”
Adrian had never been at the school when they cut the power off. But there he was sitting in his office when he noticed the hall lights going out. He spotted someone with a flashlight coming down the hall. He opened his door and peeked out at the male. “Do you need help?”
A sliver of light quickly caught his attention, and seeing a figure peek out was enough to make him stop his tracks and aim his phone at the other – some familiar face. Orientation day. Mister-not-a-werewolf. Well he is, it was just that Icarus could remember how his face was all quiet and gentle like he almost thought that the man can pass off as someone who shifts into a stag or something.
“Oh—professor—” ah shit. Icarus offered a smile, almost to mold his tone as if he was calling him professor in a general sense instead of the titled that should be followed by a name that he could not remember just yet. Something Spanish. “I’m good though…” he aimed his light at the dark hallway then and shrugged. “Adventures in the dark, getting a feel of the place—you? Still not heading out? It’s getting creepier by the second.”
Raphael didn’t realise his words possibly had a double meaning. A light blush quickly rose on the angel’s cheeks. He tried to play it off by looking the other way, even though they were in complete darkness. “I was just offering you some company for when you plan on staying late.” His voice was less confident, less stern than before, but still moderately loud nonetheless. “Though, I wouldn’t be opposed to the latter.” The angel added quickly, still not daring to reestablish eye contact with the other professor.
“Oh no--I’m sorry,” the warlock shook his head and they walked on. Did he just cross a line? A slow trickle of panic settled in somewhere in Icarus at the realization that he might have turned the conversation into the weird. Well, it wasn’t really weird for him, but being in a school setting where everything is moral and exemplary was definitely something that he was yet to be accustomed to as Westbridge is definitely far from the supernatural underbelly that he had always found himself in when he was still undertaking is Task.
“No, really – I didn’t mean on making you uncomfortable it’s just that we were talking about getting laid and I thought we were still on the page—what are you in here for anyway?” he quickly added. Diversion, always effective. Hopefully.
He worked in the library whenever he wasn’t in class: it was easier to have someone else play the role of villain to try and keep the silence in the room. And he did like silence a whole lot, especially when he heard far too well. The downside of working in a public space, however, was getting approached by the other people in the room. He normally didn’t mind it too much, but someone had been staring at him for at least half an hour now and it was starting to get on his nerves. Alfie knew he wasn’t the most approachable professor to ever set foot on Westbridge University, but that was ridiculous.
“You are staring”, he finally said without tearing his eyes off the screen.
The words were soft, but the tone was pointed enough to poke the warlock back into reality -- that he was apparently staring on for too long that someone had to call him out on it. Embarrassment was quick to flood his cheeks, then the apologetic chuckle to regain his dignity -- at the very least -- since he knew very well that at that point, there was zero chance of salvaging his first impression. Great job, Icarus. The warlock smiled as his ams bulged through his sleeves when he scratched the back of his head. He was barely keeping up with the cool professor vibe and now he was the weird one for staring at random people. Well it wasn’t random, really -- at least that was defense on his end.
“S-sorry...” he chuckled again before he gestured a hand at the screen. “I didn’t mean to stare--just...” and another chuckle that came with a sigh. “It’s just that I’ve seen that image before...I was trying to figure it out...”
Alonzo hadn’t met all the professors at Westbridge yet and it seems like they keep add more and more each week. Which was good, the more and the marry-er or whatever that saying is. Alonzo got up from sitting at the table, seeing a unfamiliar face. ‘’ I won’t jump you, not like i wanted suck you’re blood or anything.’’ He teased.
“Ha—joke’s on you, I’m a centenarian,” Icarus made a face, playful and mocking as he walked further into the man’s office as he took in the vision of the giant vampire and the different pieces of art along the walls—concept boards and stuff. “—my blood is probably bitter and sour,” he nodded as if it was something that actually happens. And with a roll of his chest against his strained shirt, his eyes moved down to the computer on his desk, one with implements and such that were all probably meant for art. “Damn computer’s super duper-- like it got lasers and stuff...you’re whole department got shit like this?”
As expected, the Art Department was the coolest of the bunch: that despite the fact that they were in the old building, they were the ones with the quirky hallway with the graphic decals and all that while Social Sciences have the old horror movie bullshit going on. And for some reason, they’re less labyrinthine – probably because of the modern touches that seemed to make everything wide and bright. So it didn’t take long until, Icarus had found the faculty office and with a slow slide into the room. “Ponzi scheme-o—” the warlock called out softly into the emptiness – hoping that the man was still there; aka the biggest vampire that he had ever met. “—you here? You better not jump on me.”
Top three fantasies?
“A weekend pass, sleeping for 12 hours straight, and a lasagna that cooks in ten seconds.”
You look like you could fuck a man until he couldn't sit for a week.
“Maybe…who knows…”
Daddy, Master or Sir?
“Sir since that’s how some people address their teachers…”
Three teachers you would fuck/let them fuck you?
“That’s it?” Icarus chuckled. “Where’s the dinner part?”
I'm a student and I'd love to pound that thick ass
“Off limits, kiddo–find someone your own size.” he humored.
Three students that you would fuck/let them fuck you?
“I…sort of kind of don’t want to get fired. Keep it PG, kiddoskis.”
Anyone catch your eye yet?
“Malakai and not in a good way–” the warlock’s eyes narrowed. “–whoever decided to put up his portrait in one of the hallways is probably a fan of The Shining”
Jurassic World (2015)
“To be fair, this hallway isn’t as dark to me - my senses are heightened compared to you warlocks,” Dominic stated before he chuckled and moved to put his hands into his pockets. “But I certainly wouldn’t mind taking you towards the parts of this campus that are more in use on a weekend,” Dominic stated before he gestured behind the warlock. “We’ll have to go this way, though. The further you venture this way, the more dark you’ll come across.”
“Ha—” the scoff was sarcastic, though more of a deprecation towards him than towards the man or the situation at hand. Well, that’s it for the cool professor vibe, he probably just turned into the hamster of a man that can’t weave his way through the damn place. “The other way, eh--pfft I knew it was that way…” he teased then gave up. “---thank goodness I bumped into you and your wall of muscle else I would’ve stumbled into the wrong way and you’d all find me on Sunday--two weeks from now,” he shrugged as he turned to the direction that Dominic pointed onto.
