Her audio fins twitched again as she made her way down carefully. Her visor had been cracked when she’d landed on her face, and she was partially blind because of it. That was fine though. The echo in the room was hopefully good enough to prevent her from bumping into anything.

Akira held out her approached the stranger with hesitation. Akira was suspicious of her at first, but soon her cheerful nature subdued her fears.

“Hi” she said hesitantly. “who are you?”

“This is a bad idea”. said her ghost.

June started running. She wanted answers, and at the moment, this person was the only logical one to ask seeing as they were the only other living being that June could see, “Wait! I just wanna talk, really.”

She tripped over her own feet, “Owwww… Stupid robot feet. Too small to actually balance on ugh,” June got back up trying to keep from tripping again, “The one time I don’t want to be alone the only other person around runs away…”

“Oh, were caught.” 

“the stranger seems like she wants to speak to us” said her ghost.

“yeah I kind a understood what she said” she replied. “Let’s try to approach her” She then peeked her head out from behind a wall in the basement looking toward the stairs.

June noticed something moving, so she scanned that area again. Something was definitely there. She switched scanners to see if she could pick anything up on a thermo scan. Whatever it was, it was humanoid.

She started walking in that direction, audio fins perked.

“Maybe it isn't going to kill us?” her ghost said. “Well I don’t want to find out.” She turned around and there was a stairway leading down into the basement.

“I remember a computer room in the basement. We’ll contact the tower down there.” She then carefully started down the stairs still holding her gun vary close.

“what? I like raisins...”

June scanned the area, still slightly disoriented. That had not been a solar flare that knockered her off course. Well, if it had been her electronic parts would be dead, leaving her without the ability to function. But it’d felt more like she’d been drawn here over knocked away from her original destination.

“do you think it saw us?” she asked her ghost quietly. “Maybe we should sneak away and tell someone about this.”

There was an old broken building nearby. She crawled behind the rocks to get in the building. But before she got in she stopt cold at the entrance holding her gun close and ready and quickly ducked inside.

“Oh, no I think it saw us” she still tried to be quiet, but became increasingly nervous.

Akira was walking around the cosmodrome just performing some tasks for the Vanguard. While gathering information about the landscape via ghost, she just noticed something over the hill. She didn't know what the creature was so she ducked behind a rock nearby.

“What is that? she asked her ghost. “I don’t know” it said. 

She continued to sit there as the figure drew closer.

atlas-the-destruction-robot:

Atlas looked over at the pile of robot bodies, all dismembered by his plasma attack.  “We should get out of here before any more come.”

“Yeah, we should go now.” She said as she composed herself. “I’ll just get my ship and get us out of here” She held her hand out, the ghost appeared, and her ship came over the horizon.

atlas-the-destruction-robot:

Satisfied that the Vex were no longer a threat, Atlas flew over to Akira and landed beside her.  He rested his fists on his waist.

“You okay then?”  He was a little put off by the fact that what she was looking for was a robot part.  Atlas couldn’t complain though considering he did kill said robots.  They were the aggressors and might have killed this woman if he hadn’t stopped them.

“Yeah, I’ll recover”. She stood up using the rubble to prob herself. “Thanks for the assist, I’ll be more careful next time.”
