noulaikkwelnes :
“We’re under attack! Light the signal!”
“Send your troops to protect my people!”
“A single grain of rice can tip the scale. One man may be the difference between victory and defeat.”
“I’m going to uh… pray some more.”
“How lucky can they be? They’re dead.”
“This is what you give me to work with? Well honey, I’ve seen worse!”
“You’ll bring honor to us all.”
“Boys will gladly go to war for you!”
“Even you can’t blow it!”
“Who spit in their bean curd?”
“I think it’s going well, don’t you?”
“You will never bring your family honor!”
“Can it be I’m not meant to play this part?”
“If I were truly to be myself, I would break my family’s heart.”
“What beautiful blossoms we have this year… But look, this one’s late! But I’ll bet that when it blooms, it will be the most beautiful of all.”
“[ NAME ], you dishonor me.”
“So you’ll die for honor?”
“I will die doing what’s right!”
“I know my place! It’s time you learned yours!”
“You should go after them – they could be killed!”
“Anybody who’s foolish enough to threaten our family, vengeance will be mine!”
“Well we can’t all be acupuncturists!”
“Okay okay, I get the drift, I’ll go.”
“Jump back, I’m pretty hot, huh? Don’t make me have to singe nobody to prove no point.”
“Just once chance, is that too much to ask? I mean it’s not like it’ll kill you.”
“Don’t even worry about it! I will not lose face!”
“That’s the master plan! Oh, you’ve done it now man!”
“You’re lucky? Do I look like a sucker to you?”
“Stop me? They invited me.”
“By building their wall they challenged my strength. Well I’m here to play their game.”
“How many men does it take to deliver a message?”
“Ah I see you have a sword! I have one too! They’re very manly and tough!”
“It’ll take a miracle to get me into the army.”
“Who am I? I am the guardian of lost souls!”
“My powers are beyond your mortal imagination.”
“That’s it! Dishonor! Dishonor on your whole family! Dishonor on you, dishonor on your cow!”
“It’s all attitude. Be tough, like this guy here.”
“I’m gonna hit you so hard, it’ll make your ancestors dizzy.”
“Ah, you ain’t worth my time, chicken boy.”
“Say that to my face, you limp noodle!”
“This is an enormous responsibility. Perhaps a soldier with more experience…?”
“Leader of [ PLACE ]’s finest troops. No, the greatest troops of all time!”
“I mean, sorry you had to see that. But you know how it is when you get those manly urges – and you just gotta kill something!”
“I didn’t ask for their name, I asked for yours!”
“Y’know, we need to work on your people skills.”
“Place nice with the other kids. Unless of course, one of the other kids wants to fight, then you have to kick the other kid’s butt.”
“Oh, I think my bunny slippers just ran for cover. C’mon, scare me!”
“My little baby off to destroy people…”
“Are y’hungry? ‘Cause I owe you a knuckle sandwich.”
“I’ll get that arrow, pretty boy. And I’ll do it with my shirt on.”
“You’re the saddest bunch I’ve ever met.”
“Now I really wish that I knew how to swim!”
“Heed my every order and you might survive.”
“We’re doomed! There are a couple of things I know they’re bound to notice!”
“I bet [ NAME ] and I could take you!”
“I never want to see a naked man again.”
“Those boys are no more fit to be soldiers than you are to be captain. Once the general reads my report, your troops will never see battle.”
“Hey, I’ll hold him and you punch.”
“Hello, this is the army! Make it sound more urgent please!”
“And I do not squeal like a girl.”
“There’s no time for stupid questions!”
“Hey, think of instead: a girl worth fighting for!”
“Bet the local girls thought you were quite the charmer.”
“How ‘bout a girl who’s got a brain, who always speaks her mind?”
“Yeah the only girl who’d love him is his mother.”
“Search for survivors!”
“What happened? You just gave away our position!”
“Prepare to fight. If we die, we die with honor.”
“You missed! How could you miss, they were three feet in front of you!”
“We’re gonna die, we’re gonna die! No way we survive this! Death is coming!”
“I knew we could do it! You the man! … Well, sort of.”
“You are the craziest person I’ve ever met. And for that I owe you my life. From now on, you have my trust.”
“I didn’t mean for it to go this far! It was the only way! Please, believe me.”
“A life for a life. My debt is repaid.”
“Maybe what I really wanted was to prove I could do things right. So when I look in a mirror, I’d seen someone worthwhile. But I was wrong. I see nothing.”
“You risked your life to help people you love… I risked your life to help myself. At least you had good intentions.”
“We started this thing together, and that’s how we’ll finish it. I promise.”
“They popped out of the snow! Like daisies!”
“Are we in this together or not?”
“Let’s go kick some honey buns!”
“Keep your eyes open. I know they’re here.”
“Your walls and armies have fallen. And now it’s your turn. Bow to me.”
“No matter how the wind howls, the mountain cannot bow to it.”
“You! You took away my victory!”
“You don’t have a plan?!”
“It looks like you’re out of ideas.”
“Stand aside, that creature’s not worth protecting!”
“I’ve heard a great deal about you, [ NAME ].”
“You have saved us all.”
“I think I’ve been away from home long enough.”
“Are they allowed to do that?”
“You… you fight good.”
“The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all.”
“They’re gifts, to honor our family.”
“Great, they brought home a sword. If you ask me they should’ve brought home a [ WOMAN/MAN ].”
“Woo! Sign me up for the next war!”
“Would you like to stay forever?”
“Dinner would be great.”
“You know, they get it from my side of the family!”

THE QUEEN GLANCED OVER AT HER COMPANION - a stranger but seemingly nice enough. She nodded carefully, being sure that she was the one being addressed, and smiled slightly - as Queen, she couldn’t help but feel a little PROUD when people talked well of her kingdom, even when it came to things she couldn’t control ( though, admittedly, she had put a little chill in the air this morning ). ❛ It is. Is it your first time here ? ❜
She hadn’t ever seen her before, but that wasn’t unusual - she rarely had the opportunity to leave the castle on a casual basis, unattended by guards ( or at least without her sister ). It could simply be that their presence had never coincided before, but she didn’t think so - there was something ODD about the girl ( not bad, just different ) and somehow she knew that she didn’t come from Arendelle. Her curiosity was piqued, and she couldn’t help but start conversation with her.
INTRIGUE washed over the fey as she looked at the blonde before her. She was similar to her – though her hair white, Ariella’s was more of a silver, “It is,” Ariella responded, “I don’t get to travel much but this was my first stop.” Her only stop – and she was here to stay for as long as she could before the Cait Sith returned to tell her that she was missed back in Winter… which could be sooner than expected with Ash being at Court (but as he was doing more and more tasks for his mother it was unlikely to be too soon!)
Giving a light laugh, almost like a song through the chill in the breeze, Ariella pipped up – “I don’t get out much.” And usually when she did she was alongside her suitor. Her suitor being the Prince of the Unseelie Court she could have been considered royalty in a higher position than she was now. She was a duchess-to-be ;; but nothing could compare to possible being Queen of the Unseelie Court one day.
She bested him. She bested him! No one bested him when it came to a bow. Not Rowan or even Sage bested him. And yet here, his own lover who he was certain didn’t have as much experience in this as him, was able to land the killing blow first. So for a moment Ash could only stare at their prey with wide silver eyes as he tried to get over what had just happened.
The moment she began to request his praise he jolted out of his surprised trance and looked at her. He glared at her a little and continued to remain silent while she spoke. It wasn’t until she began to reach the end of it did he finally act. Leaning down he quickly kissed her lips to get her to be quiet before pulling away and begin walking over to the stag while forming a new ice dagger and twirling it between his fingers.
When the Prince reached for her and pulled her to him to kiss her (and most probably shut her up) she returned the kiss but there was still a proud smirk across her lips. Oh, how she loved being underestimated by Ash because he believed that she remained stuck in her home with her father… when really she spent a lot of time around the Kingdom of Glassbarrow where she did do a lot of hunting.
“No need to be a sore loser, your highness,” she gave a courteous bow before following him towards their wounded prey. Deep down she wanted to be like – don’t hurt it! – but she already had and therefore she couldn’t say anything. Besides, this was the tools of the trade, and the end result, it couldn’t be any other way. “See, near enough hit the heart, I think that deserves another kiss.”
If I can’t have you, I might DIE, I might go CRAZY, I don’t know what will happen, You’re the disease but also the cure,
…I can’t live if I lose you.
The trickster blinked at her for a moment. “I am being nice to him?” Actually Puck believed he was being overly nice to the ice prince. Any pranks he pulled on Ash were small compared to the ones he was doing to others. Like the one he had done to Titania earlier that day and was the reason he was with Ariella right then since he was hiding from the Summer Queen’s wraith. And did Ariella really believe he didn’t care about Ash’s well being or mental health? He might not act like it but he was concerned and he was trying his best to help in his own way. He just knew that if actually offered it to Ash that the ice prince would deny that things were bothering or just brush it off.
“Butterfly, now don’t take this the wrong way, but between the two of us I’ve known ice-boy the longest. He might mutter such things but ice-boy wouldn’t actually hurt me. And I’m pretty sure he likes me annoying him more than his brothers.” He had lost count of how many times he had listened to Ash mutter one thing or another about his older brothers. “Since you asked I’ll back off a bit. But really what I was doing was fine and I’m sure ice-boy liked it more than what his brothers were doing.”
“Really you think that’s being nice?” the Winter fey chuckles as she moves her hand to her face and taps her fingers against the cheek. “I think you might want to re-evaluate what you think that word means.” And she scoffed at him – he certainly wasn’t being nice now! How could he think that because he had known the Ice Prince longer than her meant that he knew her better? “Really, do you want an ice dagger in between the eyes curtesy of me?” She huffed a spout of icy wind towards her lover’s best friend. “That’s beyond the point – but true, he would rather you annoyed him than his brothers.”
Huffing a little and crossing her arms across her dress clad body the Winter Fey looked towards Puck. “Fine, Robin I’ll leave it there – but you should know I’m not happy with you and you better make it up to me and him.”
“Glaceey,”
the Glaceon was jumping for joy at the sight of the blonde. Serena and Ariella had met in the past (once or twice) but it had been a while since she had seen Serena back in Iccirus City. The female eevelution had bounded over to the Pokémon Performer before being followed quickly afterwards by her Trainer. “Oh, hi Serena! It’s been forever,” the ice type trainer laughed, “You know I’ve been watching the contests you’ve been in! Your performances have been fantastic! Oh, and I saw you got an eevee too!” She chuckled, “better be careful – this one – might get a bit jealous.” She was only joking – but it was a pleasant nod towards the reaction that Serena had gotten from her Pokémon partner.
“ Eira, calm down, Serena can see you.”

you are in love with him && here is the best part: he loves you more than his own life. so, here is the worst part: he loves you so much more than his own life. he will { perish } for you.
What did she mean? She didn’t want to hurt her? What does that mean? Maelys’ eyes raised to meet Ariella’s. It all seemed casual to the other, but this situation was starting to confuse the brunette. She couldn’t figure out why her friend would try to hurt her in the first place. For as far as she could remember, and, surely, her faith in the correctness of her memory was justified, the Forest Spirit had done nothing wrong. The sole reason why she worried about her previous position was to be found within her creation. As a person who had died and come back to life, she felt restricted to the forest. Frankly, it amazed her to see how easily she had left its boundaries but mere seconds ago.
The ignorance shone through, as Maelys gradually inspected her surroundings. Had she been tricked? “Hurt me?” She had to ask, had to know. There weren’t many clues regarding plausible answers, yet the girl feared most of them already. How stupid she would have been to trust someone who was not like her! Then again, there was still a glimmer of hope that Ariella hadn’t set out to hurt Maelys for what she was. It was strange for her to have hope in the slightest, but it was also a strong desire not to lose her friend - not to lose faith in the possibility that she might ever learn to live a normal life again.. or at least as normal as someone with special powers could be.
The mention of danger struck her even more. SHE was the source of that danger. SHE was to be feared by them, not the other way around. Didn’t she know? Hadn’t she figured that out by now? And the conversation continued in a completely different direction without her help. Of course, she wasn’t freezing. It wasn’t like she could die again. ‘Why would they try to hurt me?’ was a question that came to her mind, but she already knew the answer. Instead, she tried to focus on another predicament at hand. “Are you cold?”
“The beings that live around these forest aren’t the friendliest, you may have heard of them – the sidhe of the Winter Court.” They were ruled by Queen Mab, and she was the worst of them all – which was quite a thing to think about your could be future mother-in-law. If Ash ever did propose to the Duchess-to-be then she would end up being Mab’s daughter-in-law. “But they aren’t all bad, like myself – but it is still dangerous.” The Winter fey moved her fingers through her silver hair, tucking some behind pointed ears. Her hand moved to the bow that she was carrying – she was going to be going on a hunt, but she hadn’t thought she would end up finding herself face to face with another being. One that was warm – colourful – she knew instantly that Maelys wasn’t a Winter fey. She most certainly wasn’t a creature like she had seen before. Could she have been a Summer fey? Well she had a feeling that Maelys would have known who Ariella was – or at least what she was.
“Oh, no, I’m not cold. I feast off the cold,” she explained, “I’m naturally cold.” Which was something that all Winer Fey had in common. “I just have to ask – but what are you. I don’t think you’re a human, nor do I believe you’re from the Seelie Court.”
All of what Ariella had said should have worked in Maelys’ favour at least. If she wasn’t a human then there was little chance that she would lose her mind in the world of Fey. But Queen Mab might have been interested in Maeyls for being different – and Queen Mab did have many, many pets…
When there was whisper through the trees and the smaller fey that travelled between the worlds of a human on Earth that had similar abilities to the Winter Fey, Ariella knew that she had to meet her. She had wanted to meet someone who had power to control ice, and would become someone to practice her own glamour with, but who wasn’t someone from the Unseelie Court.
Everyone under Queen Mab’s rule were cold and callous. They had a reputation and she sure lived up to it. The only one she would say wasn’t like that was her own lover Ash. Ash was nothing like his mother, the Queen, and there was nothing wrong with Ash – but because of their close bond, and the fact he was a man, meant that she didn’t get much feminine conversation. Especially when her other best friend was a summer fey so he didn’t have the ability to control ice or snow or create blistery breezes.
“It sure is cold in Arendelle,” the silver haired fey spoke as she looked towards the Queen. “It’s wonderfully refreshing.” And she adored the way that it felt against her pale skin. She hid her elven ears under her sheet of silver strands. She couldn’t wait to see if this woman was who she had heard whispers of. Grimalkin, the cait sith, had led her to Arendelle and he had disappeared quite as he always did. He’d return though - when there was a necessary sarcastic comment... or Ariella was ready to return to Winter.

She offered a reassuring nod to the other’s question. This wasn’t unusual for Honey, to speak so casually with a stranger, as if they had known each other for a long time. She couldn’t help it, really; Honey knew what it was like to walk around awkwardly in a new place, and if she could help someone escape that, then of course she’d do it. And, in her defense, the girl did seem to be nice, not to mention she even complimented Honey’s designs it was hard not to be on the chemist’s good side after that.
“Ariella? Oh, I love your name! It’s really cute!” the blonde babbled, unaware that her comment would perhaps be perceived as odd. “I’m Honey.” She decided to leave out the clarification that it was merely a nickname; she tended to ramble even more when that came up. At Ariella’s next words, her brows rose. “So that’s why I didn’t recognize you! I’m pre-tty sure I know everyone here in school!” She chuckled. “How are you liking it so far?”
A slight rosy tinge crept over the buds of Ariella’s cheeks. “Oh, well my name might be cute but yours is really sweet!” It was a pun, naturally, on the fact that she had just been told that the new person that she had just ‘befriended’, could you say that they were befriending each other?, was called Honey. After all, Honey tended to be sweet!
Ariella shrugged her shoulders a little in response, “It’s great,” she chuckled, “the fact my Dad is even letting me out the house right now is great enough – he had his reservations when we moved here but I don’t mind it. He’s just set in his ways, you know? Has been since I was little.” “What do you think about it around here?”
