Hello and welcome! Every day, a Warrior Cats MAP, PMV, or AMV will be posted here, linked to the original video.

This blog is to introduce people to new (or old) Warriors content to enjoy, and shout out the amazing work of artists in our community!

Tagging

All posts are tagged by arc or book. The prequel videos will be tagged as #prequel, SkyClan videos will be tagged as #skc, and videos based on non-prequel or non-SkyClan Novellas or Super Editions will be tagged with abbreviated versions of their title, such as #rpf for Ravenpaw's Farewell. So, first letter of prefix, first letter of suffix, and then first letter of the second word of the title.

Arcs and Graphic Novels will just be referred to by their abbreviations like #tpb for The Prophecies Begin, or #asir for A Shadow in RiverClan. Power of Three will be tagged as #po3 instead of #pot. Alternate Universe videos will be tagged as #au, and videos with themes, such as Daastan E Ashfur being Bollywood themed, will be tagged as #themed. Finally, videos that include headcanons but don't contradict canon will just be tagged normally.

Request submission

My requests are open, just send me an ask! You may request any project you see fit, whether it is super popular or super underrated.

If you send me a non-anon, non-private submission, I will post my response to your ask and tag you in the post

If you send me an anon, non-private submission, I will post my response to your ask, and refer to you as anon in the post

If you send me a non-anon, private submission, I won't post my response to your ask, but I will tag you in the post

Policy on projects by problematic creators

I will take requests for projects by problematic former members of the community, as long as they follow these three rules:

1. Must be a MAP. If the MAP host is a bad person, it doesn't mean that the participants should have their hard work wasted, but I don't want to celebrate the solo work of someone like that.

2. Must be a reupload. I don't want to give views to bad people, and I will credit the reuploader.

3. The creator must have deleted their channel. I don't want to drive traffic to their channels and give them views.

Now that formal things are out of the way, have fun watching these projects! We're here to celebrate the talent this fandom has to offer, and has proved it can offer many times over :)

The Warrior Cats project of the day is "Bernadette" by Axley! This is a beautiful PMV about Ashfur and his obsession with Squirrelflight. The way Ashfur is solidly coloured with just his eyes and teeth distinct is genuinely so eerie and makes him feel like a supernatural monster (which is kind of is in TBC). The mostly blue pallette is stunning and so is the way the artist draws fire, and I particularly like the end where Ashfur walks with his younger self.

The Warrior Cats project of the day is "PAINT IT BLACK" by Doveleaf! This AMV depicts when Leafpol first discovered the trees being torn down. It has an incredibly smooth and beautiful run cycle, and extremely dramatic frames that make it seem cinematic! The bright red Xs are a stark contrast, and it has a pretty cool intro!

Oh my gosh thanks everyone for 200 followers! If anyone has any ideas of what I could do to celebrate that would be awesome to hear!

I really appreciate it, I'm glad I get to run this blog and share the incredible projects this community creates!

The Warrior Cats project of the day is "MA MEILLEURE ENNEMIE", hosted by LGDC_Revues and Murz1mo, with the beautiful thumbnail by LADYLOGISTERART and LGDC_Revues! This MAP is an AU based on the idea of "What If Leafpool and Crowfeather did run away instead of returning to the Clans?". Brightheart becomes the Clan's medicine cat due to her (limited, but still more than most other cats) medicinal knowledge, and Brambleclaw is killed alongside Hawkfrost after the incident with the fox trap, where Firestar also dies. While Leafpool and Crowfeather's kits grow up happy, Squirrelflight becomes Ashfur's mate, not knowing his role in the murder of her father. I think MAPs that explore what would happen if one event was changed, are really cool, and this is no exception!

The Warrior Cats project of the day is "CRAZY" by Aviator Zoroark! This PMV follows Goosefeather from kithood to death, showing the impact of knowing so many prophecies and speaking to dead cats had on his mind. I really love the designs, especially Moonflower's, and the colours used for a lot of the backgrounds! I like how it shows Goosefeather becoming disillusioned with StarClan, and this PMV definitely captures the unsettling energy Goosefeather had at points!

The Warrior Cats project of the day is "Paradise" hosted by SplashDreamms, with a thumbnail by Snexmy! This MAP is about Cinderpelt's life, how she went from an excitable, eager apprentice to a mature mentor and a great medicine cat. It explores her feelings towards his injury and the tragedies in her life, losing Silverstream, losing her mentor, and living with the knowledge that she would soon die.

The Warrior Cats project of the day is "No Longer You" by ForestWhisker! This project was requested by @owlblaze. This PMV explores a rather mysterious character in the books: Jay's Wing. We only ever hear about him secondhand, and the closest we come is when Jayfeather was essentially possessing his body. Jay's Wing has to live with the knowledge that someone else is living his life. I love the incorporation of book pages and how certain future events were represented by cave paintings, it's incredibly cool!

The Warrior Cats project of the day is actually two projects, "MR. FEAR" and its sequel, "Lovers, Brothers, Killers", hosted by GiingerSnaps! Both MAPs have stunningly detailed and beautiful thumbnails, each done by scooterscones. These MAPs take place in a zombie apocalypse AU, which is a really cool idea for this fandom! I love the zombie designs. Longtail has to lead ThunderClan against the zombies after the death of Firestar. The four Clans come up with a plan to stop the zombies, but it fails, and almost everyone is turned. It's up to Swiftpaw to figure out the cure!

The Warrior Cats project of the day is "Dream Sweet in Sea Major" hosted by JAY GRIMALKIN, with the thumbnail by KAIRONG! This project was requested by anonymous. In this MAP we get to reflect on Bristlefrost's life and all of the decisions she made leading up to her sacrifice, and she does this too, replaying the MAP quickly before she fades. I really love the creative design of the Dark Forest, and the place where Bristlefrost starts off the MAP in!

The Warrior Cats project of the day is "DIE YOUNG" by peppermint-moss! This project was requested by @satanic-gay-cat. This AMV follows Needletail and her short life, falling into The Kin and then turning it around and sacrificing herself. I think this project shows the depth of Needletail's character, her selfishness and gray morality, as well as her selfless acts, perfectly. The animation and tweening is so snappy and beautiful, the designs are fantastic, and I love all the colour symbolism going on! Truly a masterpiece.

The emotions in this PMV are very clear and well-portrayed, and I like the uniqueness of the background being real life photos, but with a bluish-purple filter over it. The colours are beautiful and the designs very recognizable!

SURPRISE! Two posts today!

The PRIDE Warrior Cats project of the day is "KISS KISS FALL IN LOVE", hosted by bowiestarzzz, with the thumbnail by allisterx! This adorable MAP is another one where people chose LGBTQIA+ ships to portray in their parts, and it turned out wonderfully. The parts are all beautiful, vibrant, and with lovely animation/tweening. I love the pinks and purples used for the backgrounds!

The Warrior Cats project of the day is "Work This Body", hosted by Pretzelmintz with the sweet thumbnail by MarshuKitty! This MAP had each participant choose a LGBTQIA+ ship for their part, and the result is adorable and sweet. Some of these ships are plausible in the text, and others have whole AUs!
