Character Showcase: Saptongue, the medicine cat!

You know, Twolegs do this weird thing called selective breeding. They’re not entirely sure how they feel about it... so, there are rules. A certain twoleg broke these rules, and as a result, he/she/they had to get rid of one particular grey tone savannah cat. She was left in the forest.

ShadowClan is lucky this happened. An eager young cat entered the Clan with a knack for learning herbs (or maybe what she perceived as the “easy job”), and she took to her mentor, Tumblespark, rather well, despite their demeanor. 

Although Saptongue may prefer a nap to going on an adventure, she does (more or less) as she’s told by her leader. She genuinely cares about the health of her Clan, even when these cats are practically asking to get hurt! She wakes up from her doze and snaps to the cat in need. She’s bursting in confidence and wit, and these qualities demand the respect and admiration of her clanmates. She’s loose and affectionate with her apprentice, Loonpaw.

Yes, indeed, ShadowClan is lucky to have found this cat!

Birman and Bengal!

Since no player was specified, I’ll assume this question is going to the DM (or Clan Master, as we call it), which is me!

Birman: What’s one scene that made you genuinely smile?

I’m sort of a sucker for TPB. I feel like the books never truly get back to the innocence that was Firepaw’s apprenticeship. I know, if they did, people would probably get bored of the books, but I still look back on it very fondly. So I think one of the most warm, happy scenes I can think of is when Ravenpaw catches the adder. Firepaw, Greypaw, and Ravenpaw all celebrate, wrestle, and lay on their backs. Despite the burden Ravenpaw already carries, they’re just having a good times as teens.

Bengal: What was the darkest moment in the series for you?

I won’t go into detail for this one, to protect my p00r little heart.

Snowkit, Flametail, and the separation of Violet and Twig.

‘Nuff said. There’s hardly anything more dark than tragedy, to me. That shit hurts.

(sorry if this has been asked, I just followed a bit ago) Wait, we can just spectate? I’m just getting into RPGs so I’m apprehensive about joining but I’d love to watch!!!

This was actually asked a few hours ago, I think. You absolutely can spectate. We have a lot of OOC chat throughout the week, and we’re even having a social event tomorrow night, which you’re allowed to participate in if you have the time. We’re going to collectively watch the Lion King!

Oh, that’s totally fine. We had one person spectate for the last session. Joining is pretty casual as long as you’re not completely inactive for like... weeks. Not being able to make it to a few sessions or being shy about starting is very reasonable.

Showcasing Briarfox!

Briarfox is a transmale cat with Half Clan lineage. Despite the tension between ShadowClan and ThunderClan, Leapingmist managed to find a cat there she was fond of...

He’s proven himself to be a cat loyal to both ShadowClan and his personal sense of morality. He was able to analyze an intense situation, deciding that it was necessary to ignore Sagestar’s call in order to save Sprucebelly’s life. Free-thinking and tough decision making. Those are qualities we look for in a leader! That’s exactly why Sagestar decided to appoint him to lead the Quest to the Highstones.
