Responding to a fan, Kate Cary said that writing a disabled cat who becomes a warrior would be "fabulous". Kate commented that writing a cat with three legs who adapts their fighting technique would be really interesting and said she would "definitely be up for that" and added that a deaf cat would be really interesting to write.

The Warrior Cats website and Story Team addressed Frecklewish's(The ThunderClan warrior from Mapleshade's Vengeance, not the SkyClan medicine cat) placement in the Dark Forest, and explained that she was sent there because she was "careless with the lives of kits because she is angry, and she assumes that someone else will take the responsibility of trying to save them. Frecklewish's callow negligence toward three kits in danger, and her lack of remorse for their eventual death, means she belongs in the Dark Forest."

Do you have a source for that last one? I see the connection but you're stating it as absolute fact without any source

i think one issue i've got with recent warriors super editions compared to the older ones is that like...there's these weird (almost inconsistent) time jumps within the plot?? for example older SE's like bluestar's, crookedstar's, yellowfang's (etc.) had a more biographical feel to them, as we see the protagonists of those books go from kits to apprentices to warriors and so on as they detail significant events during their lives while the newer ones like graystripe's, leopardstar's, and onestar's jump all over the place like "oh this chapter takes place in the old forest, but the next one takes place at the lake, OH WAIT here's one from this certain arc-" and it just??? makes it feel really scrambled and sporadic?? i definitely think that the best super editions were the ones from 2009 - 2013 imo
I agree completely. I remember being younger and reading Bluestar’s Prophecy for the first time and crying multiple times at key points such as when Moonflower died, when Snowfur died, and when Bluefur had to give up her kits.
I think one issue is that the less biographical/chronological ones don’t allow us to get to know the side characters long enough to get attached to them and really know them. Seeing Snowfur die when we’d seen her grow from just a kit into an apprentice then into a fierce warrior as well as a mother with a newborn kit made her death so devastating to us as readers.
When I read the newer Super Editions, I feel like I barely know any of the side characters, and certainly not well enough to know their names and set them apart from other background characters let alone truly care about and feel for them when something happens to them.

Ash and Bramble aren't related, but be careful with the ship since a common occurence with the shippers is that Ash tried to kill the 3 out of gay jealousy which is :/

I was thinking in a sort of alternate universe where neither of them liked squirrel so that whole thing with Ash trying to kill the three wouldn’t have happened
After taking a quick look at the family trees it doesn’t look like ash and bramble are related at all
