               Due to the callings of war, General Kenobi has scarcely returned to Kamino’s – delightfully – stormy shores since his first founding of them, tracking the trail of the late Sifo-Dyas, nor was his initial visit extremely thorough. He had a bit more on his mind than to tour the full extent of the facility, rather more focused on the attempted assassination of their favorite senator from Naboo. But now, he’s granted a more thorough look at the growing environment of their clones, and– it’s a bit lacking. Obi-Wan frowns at the blatant mockery and immediately kneels forward to gather the scattered weapons, brushing them together once more with a quick draw of the Force.

               “ That wasn’t very polite, I don’t think. Are you quite all right, my friend? ”

“Just the boys giving me a rough time.” He lies trying to not make a big scene out of a simple harassment. Noticing the floating weapons, this had to be. “You’re... the Jedi that Fives talks about aren’t you? Kind souls you are.” Not much like his brothers who disregarded 99 due to him being a genetic failure. The Kaminoians didn’t kill him, they would let him die of old age. To 99 this was a blessing to at least live, but this wasn’t living. Stuck on a wet planet with nothing to do but clean up after clones and the facility. This was NOT living. He wanted so bad to explore the galaxies, to fight among his brothers and meet each other in hell. Bending his arms to collect the weapons Obi-wan had neatly put back.

Getting up with a grunt, the clone looked a bit smaller then Obi-wan due to his hunched back which did a toll on him with hard labor around the cloning facility.”M’ names CT-99 sir. Well, they just call me 99. Ain’t a clone trooper.” He adds. “What brings you to Kamnio, sir?”

fresh reminder that for canon reasons, that the clones who were training DID abuse 99, they didn’t seem him as their brother, he was just a castaway and a waste of space on Tipoca. Even the higher uppers did abuse and trash talk 99.

“Very Good sir. We should be taking off soon. Quite excited to see a Jedi first hand.”  He hoped he didn’t seem a bit odd when he came to meet Plo Koon. But he’s ready to finally get on the battlefield. Just as all soldiers were. Turning around he steps onto the LAAT gripping a bracer with other 327th following behind 99 and Plo Koon.

“General! Good to meet you, sir. The names CT-99 or “Niner”. Haven’t met a Jedi before. Heard that all divisions get one. Are you our division Jedi or no, sir?” Setting his blaster into a relaxed position leaning against the gun ship shifting his pauldron slightly. He wasn’t sure if Plo Koon was supposed to be the 327th Star Corps Jedi General. Again he was just recruited into the 327th.

“Good to see you again Captain Rex, hope the boys up front didn’t give ya much trouble.” It’s relieving to see Rex again. As if a reminder to the past of the Domino squad, Echo... Fives... Hevy, although what remained of them was beyond 99.  Setting the broom against his arm letting it lean there, surely a small break to talk to Rex couldn’t hurt. “What brings you back to Kamino, sir?”

Okay, I’m laughing so hard right now. I’m looking up terminology on Wookiepedia for fic reasons and I come across Clari-crystalline–which is basically an expensive substitute for glass and offers a clearer view–but can shatter easily by a sharp tap.

Remember how Obiwan completely obliterated Padme’s window in AOTC?

APPARENTLY PADME AMIDALA, QUEEN OF ASSASSINATION ATTEMPTS, REPLACED THE GLASS WITH CLARI-CRYSTALLINE. 

She didn’t replace it with, oh i don’t know BULLETPROOF GLASS, but WITH CLARI-CRYSTALLINE WHICH IS VERY CLEAR AND VERY EASY TO SHATTER.

 just imagine her security team freaking out and citing all the safety concerns and finally they just ask “y u do this?”

and Padme looks at them straight in the face and whispers, “For the aesthetic.”
