Part of the reason Wemmbu falls in love with Jaden is because he treats Egg right.

People have an awful habit of passing over Egg. Treating him as useless or an extension of wemmbu, a hostage or an item of knowledge. Never as a person. Even Manepear knocked him off of the high branches treehouse multiple times.

Jaden never did that. He kidnapped him in the beginning, but that was before he ever knew Wemmbu, never knew Egg. After having so much time to think, in the abandonded civ, after the Flame debacle, after the invis knight incident, he treats Egg like his own thinking feeling being upon being brought into pirate civ. And that means more to wemmbu then Jaden will ever realise

Part of the Egg loves Jaden is because he treats Wemmbu right.

People treat Wemmbu as a weapon, something to be used and wielding. An object to point towards their enemies.

Jaden gives Wemmbu space to be soft. A place where eyes slide off him and land on the glittering shining King of the Pirates. Pirate Civ is a place where Wemmbu can relax. Eggchans safety isn't a burden to be constantly monitored and worried about. He's free to laze around all day in a downy soft bed sunken in with pillows, sunbathe on heated rock, wash his hair with high quality shampoos and conditioner, eat good food or run off on an adventure. He can do anything.

And egg will be forever thankful that Jaden has created this space where they can be themselves

OK so im watching pursuit of jade on netflix and naturally i CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT EGGBU......... like imagine with me.....

egg finds a bloody man in the snow, unconscious and hardly breathing. he fights with himself to take him back to his house because hes already struggling to provide for himself and cant take on another burden, but he does so anyway because the man is literally on deaths door and he cant bring himself to ignore him when he knows he will be gone if he doesnt do something...

but what he thinks is just a random street robbery gone wrong is actually a prince/soldier who was chased by the enemy to egg's small village.... but egg, oblivious to how he really ended up in the snow, doesnt know the trouble he just saved from certain death, nurses him back to health as one of the only doctors in the village, hides him from the soldiers looking for him, and tries to raise enough money to pay for his medicine even though it means taking on more work...

and then, egg needing someone to marry after his last engagement fell through and left him in debt with his shop/house about to be taken, and to keep the village off his back to find another match, and to save wemmbu from being found by the raids through the village and drafted to the war because he doesn't have residency or papers saying hes even from this region, they get into a marriage of convenience.....

its not a perfect 1 to 1, but just like a slice of life eggbu story where theyre exactly what the other person needs at that moment, and then the slow burn of finding that they love each others company and falling in love even with wemmbu's real identity hovering over their heads, is so adorable to me 🫶

I imagine that after Spoke becomes leader of Null and keeps Jamato as his prisoner, when he visits him in his cell Jamato would beg for any attention/affection from Spoke, even just holding hands, struggling against his cuffs to even touch his fingertip against Spoke, begging for scraps of ANYTHING, even Spoke spitting in his face…

And Spoke would tease him by leaning forward as if going in for a kiss, and when Jamato would try to kiss him, Spoke would turn his head away so Jamato misses, making him whine…

Or a nsfw concept being he uses Jamato as a stress reliever, whenever someone (a null guard) annoys him, or he thinks too hard about Mapicc and Jumper, he goes in and unties Jamato to let him fuck him. (probably has to get underscore commander to help cuff Jamato back up after tho) 🤔

Or another case is Spoke fucking Jamato but since he doesn’t have a dick, he uses a strap…

what do we think about Spoke using a strap is anyone else down with that. Just me? Ok.

I CAN SOMEHOW MAKE THIS ABOUT SPOKEPIC. Imagine Mapicc trying to protect Spoke because even though he's so pissed at him rn, he doesn’t think he should just get taken advantage of, but he quickly realizes that trying to fight off a ton of alphas isn’t really going to work.
