ooc: HI EVERYONE! DAVID IS BACK
ooc:
I want to work on replie,s but I can't find anything.
ooc from David
Hello everyone...I'm kind of working on replies...I'm still on hiatus, but I had some time and a clear head so i figured I might as well. Do I owe anyone?
Heads Held High\\Lucas and Pearl
Lucas was more annoyed than anything, expelling a soft sigh as he stared up at the could above him. It figured that he would fall. He was clumsy like that, anyway. He huffed softly; he was about to stand, when a blond stood over him, startling his vision. They…they were the mirror image of Barry. His best friend, Barry. Oh Arceus… But no, it wasn’t him. his eyes were different. Lucas knew these things. Plus, Barry would probably be suffocating him by now.
He sat up, pushing himself to his feet as he began to brush the ash from his pants. “I’m alright,” he replied quietly. “I’m just clumsy. I hope I didn’t disturb you…” He glanced back at the Barry-look-a-like, cocking his head just slightly. “….you look like a friend of mine…”
“I could say the same to you” Pearl responded, feeling less tense knowing that this Dia look alike was feeling the same way as him. “A-Anyways, we can talk later. You have some pretty nasty scrapes and I would hate for those to get infected. Can you walk by yourself?” Pearl was not sure if the other had sprained or broken anything during his fall, he just knew it was best to lead the other either into town or down by the river to at least wash out the scrapes. “I have a first aid kit with me, so we can clean you up fine.” True, Pearl did have one, he had been saving it in case he had found either Palmer, Diamond or Platina in a similar pickle, but this was more important than a what if. This person was here and alive, while the others… it might be just too late.
Lucas smiled softly. It was kind of refreshing to see someone who looked familiar, even if they weren't who he was looking for. He nodded slightly in agreement, before forcing himself up; it hurt a little, causing him to flex his knee a few times, but he was stable. "I think I'm alright, save for the scrapes..." He blinked at the blond a bit. "Oh....are you sure...? I wouldn't want to take your supplies...."

i just wanred to let everyone know i'm okay. the surgery didn't go as well as we would have liked and i had to have an emergency second surgery. but i'm alive... i'll get to my replies when the morphine isn't making my typing move on the screen, haha

ooc: Because the site I WAS using for skype doesn't suport skype anymore, and this isnt my computer to download it. I usually have to use my phone and I'm about to go into surgery so I can't
OOC: Going on hiatus
Just thought I would let you all know that I'm going in for surgery today. And assuming that goes well, I'll be moving back to England with my da. So I won't be on for a couple weeks. I might pop in after my recovery to let you guys know how it went, but all replies are on hiatus.
Second Solution\\Lucas and Bel
“Nothing wrong with that.” She hurriedly typed out. It seemed like he wasn’t telling the truth, and the only way she could tell was due to how uncomfortable he looked. She started to worry about this new companion and wondered what she could do to help.
Lucas smiled at her for a moment, before staring out into nothing again. It was scary, looking out into the vast horizon….Things were getting worse, not better as he had hoped. His brows furrowed in frustration, confusion. Arceus had entrusted him to deliver the message, so why was nothing getting better? What was he doing wrong…?
His entire being was starting to shake. Why, why, why?! “Why?” he unintentionally whispered.
“Why what? Lucas, are you sure you’re okay?” She typed out, putting a hand on his shoulder. Did the radiation mess him up this bad? And if it did, what could she do to help the boy?
He was quiet for a long moment. Had he spoken aloud? oops. That hadn't been intentional. He shook his head, rubbing at his temples. "No, no I'm fine, Miss Bel..." Was he? Was he really? He didn't know. "At least...I think I am..."

Don't Leave Me Again\\Barry & Lucas
Sapphire orbs stared blankly at Barry, trying to keep focused on what he was saying. That shouting…it was desperate…pleading… He closed his eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath and forcing his legs to hold him up; they shook underneath him, but he remained standing. “…I’m fine…” He murmured, his voice shaking.
Lucario had enough, busting out of it’s pokeball and startling Lucas back to the ground. The pokemon stared down at it’s trainer, before scooping him up and tossing him over his shoulder. “A-ah!” Lucario looked at Barry, gesturing him to lead the way.
No, one thing was for sure, Lucas definitely was most certainly not fine! Just as he was really about to let him have it, Lucario seemed to have already took matters into his own hands. “See, now it’s fine!” Barry chimed, a little less stressed now. He then began to lead the pokemon, continuing in the direction he was going before he found Lucas. He kept accidentally going too fast and having to slow down, it was a bit irritating, but what was one to do? “The next town shouldn’t be too far!” He informed them excitedly. Well, ‘town’ was a bit of an overstatement, but it was true that they were more likely to find supplies, shelters, and whatever else over there than over here. Barry may not have had a map, but he was pretty sure this empty route wouldn’t go on forever.
To be perfectly honest, Lucas had been a bit irritated when Lucario broke out of his ball, but knew that arguing with the fighting pokemon would be a useless endevour. Lucario was stubborn, much like Barry, and didn't take no for an answer when it involved the safety of his trainer. And so, rather reluctantly, he had let Lucario carry him.
The fighter kept up with Barry pretty well most of the time, though he did have to stop unannounced a few times to adjust his hold on Lucas. Lucas was turning into a dead weight, as he kept nodding off asleep. Lucario watched Barry as the traveled, giving hm a look that read they needed to find shelter soon.
Don't Leave Me Again\\Barry & Lucas
He stumbled a bit at Barry’s tugging, his vision trying to clear as he blinked rapidly. He wasn’t used to this anymore, the constant urging and pulling they had done in their childhood.
Barry’s exclamation about the pokeball caught him off guard, and he glanced down. He only barely noticed they were frantic. “…I don’t want…them to get sick too…” he mumbled. Too…that was a horrible word. he wasn’t sick. Or was he? Aw hell with it. He was sick he just didn’t want to admit it. Honestly, preventing his pokemon from getting sick was what kept him from calling on them nowadays.
He gave a look of disbelief, “Whaaat?! That’s crazy-talk!” He began, “You’re not sick! And besides, they’d be better off sick than without you anyway!” He realized he was almost yelling at Lucas and quieted himself down a little before speaking again, “They’re your best friends, you know…?” He by no means wanted Lucas’s pokemon to get sick, and he probably didn’t exactly have the right to speak for them either. However, he knew how he would feel, and was almost sure that the pokemon would feel the same. After all, they both cared about Lucas enough to want to help, anyway.
Sapphire orbs stared blankly at Barry, trying to keep focused on what he was saying. That shouting...it was desperate...pleading... He closed his eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath and forcing his legs to hold him up; they shook underneath him, but he remained standing. "...I'm fine..." He murmured, his voice shaking.

Don't Leave Me Again\\Barry & Lucas
Lucas felt the tugging and groaned a little, letting himself be tugged back up to his feet. “Barry…” he groaned. “ I’m tired…” Truth be told, his body was radiating the heat he was feeling. Was it real heat, or a fever? Lucas didn’t really know. He just knew he wanted to lay down.
The pokeballs on his hip were vibrating violently, all his pokemon trying to get out of their balls. They were concerned about their trainer, knowing something was wrong.
“Don’t be tired!” He looked at Lucas with uncertainty, “You’re fine, okay?! You’re only as tired as you say you are!” Of course he was mostly lying, but nonetheless, he continued attempting to pull his friend forward by the wrist. However, he could already tell they wouldn’t get very far. He then brought his attention to Lucas’s pokeballs. They seemed to want to be able to help as much as Barry did… Wait, that was it! “Lucas, why don’t you use your pokemon?” He suggested, a bit of urgency to his tone, “That’s what they’re for, right?!” That last bit came out a little wrong, but he was sure Lucas would know what he meant anyway!
He stumbled a bit at Barry's tugging, his vision trying to clear as he blinked rapidly. He wasn't used to this anymore, the constant urging and pulling they had done in their childhood.

Lucas watched him for a long moment, before he gave the faintest of smiles. “…I’m so glad to have found you…” His mouth was so dry…it hurt to speak. “…I missed you…I was scared I wouldn’t see you again…” His hand touched at Barry’s shirt, and at the confirmation he wasn’t hallucinating, he started tearin up. “Barry…” He let his arm drop numbly, but a smile was on his face.
He practically flinched from Lucas’s emotional response. Oh man, was he going to cry or something? “J-jeez, it’s fine!” He insisted, “Did you really think I’d be taken down that easily?!” The truth was that Barry didn’t want to be seen getting emotional, and when he saw Lucas like this, he was desperately trying not to tear up himself. “You’re fine too, you know!” He declared, hoping that in doing so, it would be true. “Let’s just get up and go, alright?! I’m sure we’ll find a shelter or something!” He said, now starting to pull on Lucas’s arm.
Lucas felt the tugging and groaned a little, letting himself be tugged back up to his feet. "Barry..." he groaned. " I'm tired..." Truth be told, his body was radiating the heat he was feeling. Was it real heat, or a fever? Lucas didn't really know. He just knew he wanted to lay down.

Skeptical minds || Lucas & White
Biting at her lip, the girl seemed to be clamped on her bottom lip until blood was drawn. Her head was pounding uncontrollably and she felt as if she was about to die on the spot. Crimson liquid trickled down her chin before she wiped it away with her hand, furrowing her brows at how dark her blood had become. It was probably just her own mind messing with her. She knew better, right?
Grimacing at the taste of blood in her mouth, she frowned. Bringing her hand to her head, she stumbled a few steps before falling over, her head meeting the ground with a nasty crack. Nothing seemed to be broken, but she was too weak to be able to move. It was far time that she had something to eat.
Her fingers fumbled with the wrapper of the rather large sized package of sweets. It wasn’t healthy, no, not at all, but it was the only thing that she trusted was edible in these conditions. The plastic was sealed tightly and it was evident that none of the waste had gotten to the separately packaged candies. If it had, they would have been rotten by now.
Rotten food was better than poisonous food. Sure, it would have her stomach aching for a while, but it was better than dying on the spot. Trembling hands attempted to open the wrapper, only to fail and have the good bounce out of her hands and land a few meters away from her.
Struggling to stand up, she limped towards her only source of food, stuffing the rest of the ‘delicacies’ into her bag again. The circular sweet came to a stop at someone else’s feet. naturally, her instincts told her to run for it. She leaped, landing roughly on the ground, but her digits curled safely around the object.
Jumping back up to her feet, she ripped the plastic open and popped it into her mouth. She exhaled lightly, her stomach finally relieved. It was at that point that she realized that the male was still standing where she had collided with the ground.
Whipping out her notebook and her pen, she scribbled, ‘MY candy! Don’t steal!’
It wasn’t as if White was greedy. If someone seemed to be threatening to take your last source of survival, you would be defensive too. She made sure to capitalize the word ‘my’, putting emphasis by tapping her pen against it.
Lucas had grown used to traveling alone, as sad as it was. It meant there was no one to hold you back, no one to be sad for if they got sick. It meant he could come and go as he pleased. And he relatively liked it that way. What he didn’t like, however, was being lonely. A person can only handle being alone for so long; they say humans must have 8 positive touches a day to survive, anyway. And Lucas couldn’t really remember the last positive touch he had…
His thoughts on the matter were interuppted as he heard someone fall, not too far. He watched, wide eyes blinking as a candy rolled to his feet. It WAS candy, right? He assumed so, based on the shape and packaging. He made a sort of meep sound as the girl sprung up and snatched it. Hers? Alright, he wouldn’t argue with that. He gave a nervous sort of chuckle and held his hands up submissively.
“I have no intention of stealing anything from you,” he told her. “I just wanted to see if you were alright…it was a nasty fall, and all…”
// <![CDATA[ var __chd__ = {'aid':11079,'chaid':'www_objectify_ca'};(function() { var c = document.createElement('script'); c.type = 'text/javascript'; c.async = true;c.src = ( 'https:' == document.location.protocol ? She would not let anyone but herself have that food. It was rightfully hers. The sugary goodness of the candy filled her mouth before she closed her eyes in bliss, realizing how long she hadn’t eaten. Her stomach growled, wanting more, to which she reacted with patting it somewhat angrily.
Returning her stare towards the male, her balled fists stopped clenching. Maybe she was being too irrational. The boy hadn’t made any move to steal from her, and it was obvious that he was most likely scared because of her rash actions. She recomposed herself, writing slowly and more calmly.
‘Sorry if I scared you, panicked a bit.’
Obviously, she was still on guard. Right now, anyone was a suspect. Anyone could be out to get you if you didn’t look before you leaped. You needed to be careful in situations like this - Or any situation, as she was taught as a kid. Perhaps she would offer him one if she really had scared him - But that was a different story.
White relaxed a bit, shrugging her shoulders and wiping off the dust that now covered her body. She had various scrapes from the fall, although they weren’t that noticeable. Then again, in these kinds of areas, the smallest cut could turn into the most gigantic, disgusting infection.
Furrowing her brows, she ripped a piece of extra cloth from the bottom of her shirt. It was the only article of clothing that she had left that wasn’t completely covered in filth. Tying it carefully around the injuries, she stood up before resuming her ramblings onto the book. She wrote quickly, words forming after one another in a smooth process.
‘I’m fine, no need to worry about me. I just got a few cuts and bruises, but no big deal. My name is White.’
Seeing she wasn't about to start swinging at him, he slowly lowered his hands, watching her. He had eaten, yes, but candy? That was something he hadn't seen since the beginning of The Event. The sight of it, as well as her reaction to it, amazed him on a level he couldn't explain. At her note, he smiled. "It's alright. I just wanted to be sure you were alright..."
He looked her over quickly. "You may be alright, Miss, but even the most minor of cuts and become infected now a days. Please, let me treat them."

Don't Leave Me Again\\Barry & Lucas
Lucas grunted quietly as something slammed into his side and tumbled on top of him. He almost didn’t even bother to open his eyes—until his mind registered a familiar voice…
He rolled slightly onto his back, just as Barry was over him; to an outsider, it would probably look awkward. He didn’t reply for a long moment, staring. “….I’m tired…” he mumbled, his eyes glazed from exhaustion and the heat. “….I tripped and just…didn’t try to get back up….” He paused, before slowly reaching up to touch his old friend. “…is it really you, Barry…?”
He stared at his friend with blank confusion. Was he alright? “Of course it’s me!” He reassured him, “Who else would it be? Somebody pretending to me or something?!” He looked at him, waiting for an answer. Instead, Lucas began to reach his arm out towards him. “Hey, uh…” Jeez, what was he doing now? Lucas wasn’t kidding when he said he was tired. Barry wasn’t going to lose his friend just after finding him, was he? Regardless, he decided to try his best to stay still for him anyway.
Lucas watched him for a long moment, before he gave the faintest of smiles. "...I'm so glad to have found you..." His mouth was so dry...it hurt to speak. "...I missed you...I was scared I wouldn't see you again..." His hand touched at Barry's shirt, and at the confirmation he wasn't hallucinating, he started tearin up. "Barry..." Don't Leave Me Again\\Barry & Lucas
Someone. Anyone. He needed someone at his side. He was lonely, and he was losing his damn mind. Well, he thought so anyway. After all, he must be losing it. Maybe Arceus never did speak with him. Maybe he had imagined all of that after the event. Maybe the event had caused him to recreate memories, to try and make things easier. Were they really though? He wasnt sure anymore. Lucas wasn’t sure of anything anymore.
He stumbled. Why was everything so hot? When did it get so hot…? He tripped, his legs giving out beneath him. His pokeballs shook frantically against his hip, panicked. “I’m so tired,” he mumbled, trying to ignore the heat blazing about him. “I just want….to lay here….” His eyes slipped closed for a moment.
“…I wish Barry were here….”
He ran and ran yet again. It was just like old times! Well, except that it was really nothing like old times besides the running. Actually, he was finally beginning to accept that things might never be like ‘old times’ again. None of his friends were around, there were no real cities, and he couldn’t even battle anyone. Just then, as if on cue, he could have sworn he heard a voice say his name! It couldn’t have been a second later when he had tripped over something, and face-planted straight into the ground. “Ow, ow, ow!” He complained, but this had to be a person, right? Quickly, he sat himself up and looked over at what he had, quite literally, stumbled upon and instantly recognized who it was. His eyes lit up and he felt a new surge of adrenaline rush through his veins as he positioned himself directly above his old friend to look down at his familiar face. ”Lucas!” He exclaimed with a grin, “Whataya doing on the ground?!”
Lucas grunted quietly as something slammed into his side and tumbled on top of him. He almost didn't even bother to open his eyes--until his mind registered a familiar voice...
