Can I just say? Can I just fucking say, when people who are pro-Noodle/Bandmates use “They aren’t actually family” as an argument, it’s… hurtful? Like, I know she’s a fictional character but… putting myself in her shoes, that’s the most heartbreaking shit I could ever hear.
Literally, that statement is just disregarding the fact they raised her, taught her, encouraged her to be the woman she is today, just so you can justify a ship, like, how fucking cold hearted do you have to be?
Maybe Stuart isn’t her biological big brother. Maybe Russel isn’t her biological father(figure). Maybe Murdoc isn’t her biological drunken uncle. She’s aware of that, but… they’re still her family.
“They aren’t her real family” is so fucking painful to hear. If Noodle heard someone say that, she’d be so torn. It’s such a heartless and rotten thing to say.
They love her like family. Why would anybody want to take that away from Noodle? She has no biological family and I’m sure she doesn’t want to be reminded of that, so why use it as an argument?
I just don’t understand people sometimes.
